I am of the habit of accessing my music through the recently added playlist in the music app. But unfortunately every time i connect the phone to my PC, the recently added list gets shuffled, and its a pain to search for the newly added song again and again.
Any way to fix this ?

Hi!
Since this morning, my new 1-month old htc one x+ has decided not to play media anymore.
Yesterday I copied some mp3 files directly to the music folder of the device (it was the second time I did it, and it worked well last time), and when I disconnected the USB (correctly, with windows device removal thingie), it still showed at the top, the usb sign. I guessed it was because the device was being recharged. anyway, I just plugged it out (the USB cable) and it removed the icon.
I don't know if it has anything to do with my problem - but starting today, no media can be played - all my mp3's appear as files, but can't be played, because the device "doesn't support the filetype" which is bull****.
Moreover, I can't play videos on the Youtube application, I can't play anything in GrooveShark app, and can't even hear sound at games.
I must note that I did not touch or did anything with the software - no root / rom / app installation, and all the applications were downloaded from Google Play.
please help?
Thanks in advance
Hi Gang,
So I start a song playing on google play music. I get the card to pop up with the artist name and the pause button on the bottom of the face.
Then, within a second, it disappears. I can press pause and play on my phone quickly and it'll happen again. If I time it right, I can "catch" the card before it disappears, but if I try to do any media controls it does the control on Google Play Music but then the card disappears again.
Anyone else seeing this? I wonder if I can do a harder factory reset than the "reset device" option, because I've done that twice already?
Thanks!
Nobody on this?
I've since installed Music Boss to help with media controls, but would be nice to know if other people are experiencing issues with the stock music card.
Not sure if media controls are even listed as a feature for the 360. Please someone chime in! Thank you
Anyone? I need to know if mine is bugged and if I need to contact Best Buy about this and get an exchange, or try to flash the thing back to factory.
When you press play in Google Music do you get the card? Can you play/pause without it disappearing randomly? Does it disappear on load sometimes? Help a brother out...
I wasn't really paying attention to mine. When I was, the card was always there.

I'm experiencing a similar problem. Every time I re-connect my 360 to my phone, the media card pops up, and it says it's playing a tv show on netflix... every single time I re-connect. I've restored the watch, reinstalled android wear...etc.
Same thing here. Driving me nuts as it's probably the most useful card.
Happen to me today, after update android wear and it is force the watch to reboot.
Media control card will disappear after couple songs, need to pause and replay the song again from my phone to show the card again.
Funny thing is the lyrics card from musiXmatch is still there.
and just curious, anyone feel the last android wear update is affecting the battery life?
before my watch can last for 2 days. (14 hours / day).
now my watch already dead at 9.30PM (unplug from charger at 7AM)
Card disappears as soon as I hit play
I'm having a related issue too, possibly as the result of upgrading my phone to Lollipop (it only started happening since then, and Lollipop has more settings to prioritise notifications). Where I used to get a generic media controls card with the name of the artist and a pause button, with a swipe right revealing a screen with volume and back/next buttons, I now get a card with the Play Music logo and the track name, which only shows when the music is paused. This card doesn't have a play button until you swipe, and swiping right only reveals one control at a time, not all four on one screen (quite annoying to use actually). I'm using a Moto 360 as well, however I doubt that it is in any way specific to that. I'm also using Play Music as my music player. My primary suspicion is that the generic media controls went with the lockscreen widgets that Google axed in Lollipop, and that Play Music offers a fallback which happens to be quite bad. Any ideas?

After some quick Googling, it looks like my hypothesis was correct! A leaked update to the update to the Wear app seems to fix the issue for Lollipop, see http://www.androidpolice.com/2014/1...l-makeover-but-only-on-lollipop-apk-download/
I'm having an issue adding music to my G4. New music is being added to the bottom of the recently added playlist in the stock Music player. How can I fix this?
This problem occurs in Shuttle+ as well. PowerAMP is the only player that is able to sort properly after ticking the "sort by date added" option.
I've already tried to clear mediastorage multiple times and yet the problem persists. Am I transferring my music wrongly? I used an external microsd card reader and via MTP and both give the same result, new songs being added to the bottom of the playlist.
I mainly purchased this watch so I don't have to bring my phone with me to the gym and still listen to music via BT headset.
A couple of questions:
1. Is there a shuffle option for your entire playlist? (I can only shuffle w/in an album from one artist. )
2. Can I select individual songs download into my 360? (Seems like the whole album gets downloaded).
3. How much space is in the watch?
4. Can I make playlist?
I may sell this watch if I can use it in the gym like I want to.
Thanks!
Its not a standalone device!

The watch cant store music or download music.
You'll need a phone for those and you can control music (remote) by your watch.

Pretty sure I know this watch isn't a standalone device. I'm using Google play music to download to my phone, and have it store downloaded music to Wear for offline playback.
I'm at the gym without my phone playing music to my BT headset from my watch.
I just want to have a playlist and the ability to upload individual songs.

1. Yes you can shuffle a playlist, once you open Play Music on your watch find the playlist you want and then swipe it left and that screen will allow you to shuffle that playlist. There is not an option to shuffle all the music on your watch.
2. You can select playlist to be downloaded to your watch so what I did was created a few playlist with the songs I wanted and set those in Play Music to download to my watch. However you can not pick individual songs on their own.
3. The watch has just under 4GB of storage. This is for operating system. apps and music (2.9 GB for apps and music is what I have). I have over 100 songs from Play Music on my watch and they use about 765mb
4. YES, best way I think to get the music to your watch.
Just a note this will greatly reduce battery life. While mowing my yard, about 1 hour I can burn through about 40% of my battery using bluetooth. Better than carrying my N6, but can be an issue for some.

This is not true at all, it can download music from Play Music and store it on the watch to be played back via Bluetooth from the watch.
IMHO, this feature works but it's bare minimum. I too bought the watch primarily for this use case (streaming music to BT headphones while jogging). Your best bet is to rely on playlists and use the BT headphone controls to change tracks.
You'll probably find that loading music onto the thing is a total PITA. It takes forever and it automatically stops transferring when the battery drops below 50%. It can't transfer when it's on the charger. The result is a ridiculous and frustrating experience. Needless to say I'm less than impressed with this feature's implementation, but it does work and it allows me to jog without my phone which is nice.
I just got a new deck that is Wireless Android Auto compatible, but the album art from Google Play Music does not show up when using it wirelessly. If I plug the phone into the USB port and use Android Auto that way; the album art show up just fine. Anyone else run into this issue and know how to fix it?

I can't get the wireless android auto to even work on mine. How'd you get it too??
I paired it with Bluetooth first, then selected the phone from the main app screen.
It took two tries, but I got it working following Pioneers video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yoPE7eF84-0
I think I got it working, was using a crappy cable so it wasn't properly connecting

Now that mine is working I checked and I'm getting the album artwork to show for all apps
What phone do you have?
Pixel 2XL
To anyone that cares, I found the "fix" to this problem. Turns out it is caused by a setting Google Play Music... in Settings > Show Album Art on Lock Screen.
I never liked having the album art on my lock screen, but I like having it show up in Android Auto. So I guess you just have to choose which setting you want more.
- funny side note: The album art DOES NOT show up on the lock screen when music is playing and using Wireless Android Auto. Even when the option is checked in Google Play Music
