mms or data, but not both? - Sprint LG G2

Hey I just got an unlocked tmobile lg g2 and am usuing it on wind. I have input the apn settings for data and mms, but i can only select one apn setting, when i have it on data, the data works but mms does not, when i have it in mms the data does not work. Is there anyway i can select both apn settings so they can work together? It only allows me to sellect one apn setting at a time

ATT MMS Size Fix

The limit in my EnergyROM is currently 300kb but the att limit is 600kb. I know there is a fix, but I can't find it, no matter how much I search.
Could some one link me to it please?
Thanks!
Smith
From the Energy ROM FAQ. Does this answer your question? It should say Sending MMS with AT&T, I'm not sure why he put SMS.

Sending SMS with AT&T: Run the Carrier Provisioning at Start > Tools, select ATT 2. The download and install this CAB http://forum.xda-developers.com/atta...4&d=1271445465 to adjust the maximum size to 600k.
Click to collapse
PS: I have never had to install the cab that he mentions and it changes to 600kb automatically. That may be for an older version and they forgot to update the FAQ, not quite sure but I do not believe that part is necessary, just run the carrier provisioning.
mms fix at&t
Please post to links for users to try thanks.
For those who can't receive at&t mms:
I used the PR MMS MediaNet settings tool available on XDA
Go to Settings>Connections>Connections
Delete all data connections before running the tool
Use the device Network Setup Tool to make your primary connection.
Run the PR MediaNet MMS tool to set the size limites
After setting up the connection create a new connection in com manager
Use Work Connection
Use these settings
Connection Cellular GRPS 3G
Name I used MediaNet No Proxy
APN wap.cingular
Username [email protected]
Passwork CINGULAR1
Do not use the proxy settings for this
Have all internet applications go to this connection do that in your com manager
Go into your mms options in messaging click servers click at&t mms make sure MediaNet is still the connection for send/receive mms
now it will send receive mms using the at&t proxy and the internet for other apps without the proxy
how about sending bigger then 600?

MMS Setting

Guys,
Been trying to set my Desire's mms, with no luck. The setting is known, as follow:
APN: mms
User name: wap
Password: wap123
http://mms.telkomsel.com --> ?
10.1.89.150 --> ?
Port: 8000
That's it. Seems self explained, but I can't make it work
Questions:
- on which section I should put each setting?
- should it be separate APN with the internet? (i tried to combine it with APN internet, but then the internet doesn't work)
- how to connect mms APN to be used with mms program?
PS. This is old sim card, means the setting works on my Nokia E71 and the card mms feature has been activated..
Any helps are appreciated...

yes you need a seperate profile for internet and mms, make sure you enter the info in the mms fields (eg, mms port, mms proxy, mms protocol ect), and all you have to do to make sure other programs knows this is your mms profile, at the bottom of the screen it says apn type, just set that to mms
Hmm, still unable the same "generic network failure"

[Q] APN - Combine MMS with internet?

My Nexus on AT&T has the wap.cingular APN that was picked up from the SIM card. My data plan is provisioned for 4G smartphones so I added the "phone" APN and am using it for internet.
My question is whenever I send or receive an MMS message, the data connection drops on the phone which I am assuming is because the phone switches to the wap.cingular APN for MMS. As soon as the message has been received, the data connection comes back.
Can I combine the MMS settings like the proxy and such into the "phone" APN so my data connection stays alive during MMS transmissions?
Thanks!
So my answer is yes. You can combine everything - found it just after I posted. Wish you could delete your own threads!

MMS not working on TMobile

I've tried various different settings, but I can't get MMS to work reliably, regardless of when wifi is on or off. I don't have wifi calling turned on.
Just by putting the SIM into my phone, it had three APNs: IMS, fast.tmobile, and TMUS.
Appreciate any help!
I've kept playing around with it, and it seems to be working now. Hopefully this works for others that may have problems. I'll update if I end up running into issues again.
1. Delete the fast and TMUS APNs. I left the IMS APN alone. Good news is, you can restore the three original ones by selecting "restore defaults" in the top right menu.
2. create a new one with the following settings:
APN "fast.t-mobile.com"
MMSC http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
MCC is 310
MNC is 260
APN Type is default,supl,mms
APN protocol is IPv4/IPv6
APN roaming protocol is IPv4/IPv6
MMS is and was working for me out of the box
When I go the phone and looked in APN settings and saw 3 of them there and the first one was pre-selected. I just went into each of them and checked the info out, but I have not changed anything.

VS986VK... correct ATT APN and Network type settings (Currently getting no data)

I have an unlock VS986VK that I gave to my son to to use on his ATT account. They activated the phone and he can make and receive phone calls and MMS but gets NO mobile data. Beside the signal indicator there is an H... but anything that requires data says there is no data connection. I've Googled for about 3 hours or so and tried various APN's and I've also tried switching networks types and subtypes a few times with no success. Is there something I'm missing? Its my understanding that this particular phone will not be able to use ATT LTE 4G because of different bands being used... but he should be able to get some kind of data right?
APN's are a complete B****! I have VS982 and Straight Talk with Verizon, and even after a fresh factory reset AND stock firmware flash my phone wouldnt get data. Even with the APN typed in correct. I had to root my phone, and use a backup of my APN settings from my LG G2 with the app "APN BACKUP and RESTORE". Luckilly I had it backed up. It shows when I backup or restore that there are actually 33 APNs being moved. (For my phone atleast) and if I clear all APN's and just add the main one, it still wont work.
Anyhow, have you tried this one?
Name ATT Phone
