I try apps2sd but it doesnt working.
first I have 900mb free on SD,and 7mb free on internal memory.
If I try to move apps from phone there isnt any apps that can be moved on SD
So I can install some bigger apps or widgets. Please someone help
I dont have rooted phone so i cant move all apps to my SD
p.s.Sorry for my english
because dont have root, same apk isn't move to sdcard
But how can I than get free space
You have to have root. You can try deleting the cache of apps you don't use much. But without root, that's about all you can do.

you can try out this tutorial here:
forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1218923
Its a way to enable apps2sd for all apps and does not require root. Just don't move widgets to sd because they will not work
And thanks if it helped =D
Root your htc then install data 2 sd and link 2 sd These two apps will do it But remember after rooting u wont be able to update your firmware.
Thank you guys. But I dont know how to root. And im afraid that im going to brick it if I try.

just place the root.zip into the root of your sd card. Then in clockworkmod recovery, press choose zip from sd card, then click yes to the root.zip file. It should be rooted after that. Its very simple.
But you can also use the other tool where you click 1 to prep device and 3 to root or something like that.
Remember to thanks if it helped =D

Rooting is nowhere near the problem it used to be. You can safely root using the method described. Just follow the instructions carefully.

Well I tried to use Bin4ry thread and his script to root my device but no luck
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1886460
since it's asking u ..on the very first step to open Sony's app - backup and restore -which is unlike found there when u install clean custom rom.
So - I'm not saying his way isn't good -it's just furstrating that i coudlnt find this app anyway on web so went back to original room rooted -
also with other thread - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1742992 - Thanks to Sharaz22
and extrackted the file for you all -to have better ,faster and easier way to root with Bin4ry post.
thanks to him and all others that helps up on this great website-
i wanted to add this file as a comment on his thread -but the website think i'm dumb enough to even commnet.
so I hope - Bin4ry if u see it -plz add it to your thread.
So there it is for u.. ( u can send it to your mobile by using bluetooth\gmail\usb cable-gmail would be to easiest way for noobies i think to find it and install it through there..)
I'll soon to be posting here noobies guide for easy rooting your Xperia S in 30min - if u would want that.
i'm gratefull to xda developers i think it's about time that i'll share from all i've learned during all this years.
no luck here unfortunately.
Here's the message I get whenever I click to run the app on my Tipo Dual:
Unfortunately, Backup & restore has stopped.
I'm sure others have had better luck rooting their phones.
hey any chance that if i install this app in a Galaxy S III it works???

Same on my LT15i - seems there's something missing. Both versions of the APK give the same result, it just doesn't work.
i had no issues
i had no issues on using this app after running the programme i had a back up and restore file in my xps that was not their before told me to run the root file did it all works perfect i used the normal mode in the run me file from bin4ry... option 1 i think..... even for a locked bootloader it worked as after doing my own xps that has unlocked bootloader i did same steps on my gfs xps and she has a locked/b/l worked first time no worries
on the Xperia S I had no issues as well - but the S has backup&restore on board. The Xperia arc doesn't have a backup&restore app in the ICS upgrade - and apparently there's a reason why (copying the respective apk from the LT26 doesn't work either)
I have Xperia U st25i running GB I've tried this method and it didn't work

It is for ICS and JB only.
I've tried both the apk's from this thread on my Sony Tablet S running ICS and both give the " Unfortunately Backup and Restore has stopped working" message. Any help much appreciated.
Install the latest FlashTool from here ( 0.9.5.0 ) http://www.xdafileserver.nl/index.php?dir=Sony+(Ericsson)/SE+Xperia+S+(LT26i)/TOOLS/Flashtool
In flashtool go to Tools -> Root -> Force Emulator
Then install SuperSU and busybox again if you dont have them
@conalt- Thanks for your help. I'm trying to install backup and install so that I can root the tablet. Does your advice assume its already rooted. Apologies if dumb question!
working for me perfectly, i have rooted my xperia u (ics french firmware) without unlocking the bootloader by ur method. Thanx a lot.:good:
none of the .apk worked for me. Like most of the people, I'm getting force close

I rooted my xperia m dual using vroot 1.7.1. Replaced the Chinese superuser with supersu 1.65. I got the root permissions this way. Also installed busybox v1.21.1 in system/xbin using normal install method. Then I try gl2sd, but whenever I click on mount, after mounting, my device reboots. I am on stock rom v4.2.2, rooted, bootloader locked. I hope there must be some way out to make it work without unlocking the bootloader, coz it was working on single sim version without any need to unlock bootloader. Help asap developers

You need a rootfixer.Your phone is half rooted therefore everytime you try to write in /system it reboots.

can you please make a nice procedure for doing this?
Didn't worked bro. please do write a detailed tutorial for that with every step included. and do check it too please. now I tried again, and again only reboot occurs
If it reboots it means ur phone is half rooted with framaroot. There's one post on how to fully root Xperia m try that and it will not reboot on using root apps then.

try folderMount or Lucky patcher
Hello, in service menu it says my boot loader can't be unlocked so don't tell me to use cwm, I rooted with framaroot and it works fine but when I mount etc as r/w my phone instantly reboots, and possibly more folders too, didn't come across any more, is there a solution for this? And what's wrong, thanks
Bro your phone is half rooted that's why it keeps booting when u mount it as r/w. Download the remount/reboot fix from the given link and unzip it, (connect your phone to your pc) and run the "install.bat" and select superSu app and then follow the instructions on command prompt.
Link- http://d-h.st/fbt
One more thing, download and install busybox before using the fix from play store.
Hit thanks

No, he doesnt need to flash anything. All he has to do is use the remount reboot fix tool by [NUT]. Thats all, and your phone will no longer reboot.

Did it work? I'm thinking of getting an A320Y.
By the way, how is the phone performing now? Still fast? How about battery life? Also, how is your WiFi reception? Everything seem normal?
Thanks! Hope it worked.

yes it worked bruh.
but i dont know what i did, the first time i rooted my device using the tutorial u gave from the link above, i didnt face any laggy while unlocking screen.
but couple days ago, i reflash the whole rom, and follow the instruction again, and now im facing the lag while unlocking with stock lockscreen (secured will be laggy).
and i can make sure, the link you gave above is the easiest method to root a320y/ds version.
i think we should :
1. flash the whole rom via odin
2.straight reboot to recovery (power up + home + power button)
3.wipe data via twrp
4.reboot again to recovery
5.connect device to PC
6.enable sideload from twrp
7.open cmd on PC, then 'adb sideload install magisk.zip' (magisk.zip on your directory folder = PC)
8.reboot to system
9.install magisk from playstore
10.profit without laggy
because when i flashed TWRP, and I straightly wipe data and reboot again to TWRP, i still can mount /data folder.
but if i didnt flash anything / wipe the data after back to recovery after flashing twrp, it wont mount the /data. even after u reboot to system and back to twrp, so i have to wipe the /data again via twrp.
so i think, there's no need to install dm-verity.zip file.
because the dm-verity.zip file is the known problem which causing lag while unlocking screen with secured lockscreen.
but u will not face any problem if u install the 3rd lockscreen apps like hilocker.
u can still follow the link you gave above, to root your device.
if you follow it correctly, it wont give you any laggy.
the step i gave above is easier to do, but it would give you laggy while unlocking screen.
if u face the lag, people told me to flash newest Super SU, but i still dont flash the newest twrp, because i found the easiest solution to get away from the lockscreen lag just by installing Hi Locker.
the battery life is great, no laggy while swiping screen, all works flawlessly.
no heat while playing games. no stuttering.
wifi reception is good too, no problem.
everything works great and normal.
just remember 1 thing.
dont flash the debloated script.zip for a320 which u can find on this forum.
it will crash your video player, u still can find your video on your gallery, but u cant play it on stock video player app. so u need to open the video using 3rd apss video player. no matter how, u cant set the default apps to play your video if u open the video using stock samsung gallery apps. there's no option to open the video using any other apps, except samsung stock video player.
and again, if u flash the debloated script, u will face the problem.
just remove the apps via root file manager, delete it 1 by 1. u can remove what u dont need.
and dont flash any ported apps, like galaxy note8 ported apps.zip , s8 apps zip.
it will destroy your gallery just like i told u above.
a320y is a great device
