I've never done any work with themes so I can't say for sure, but I imagine it could be done. Someone like @talkingmonkeys would probably know better than me though.

Anyone else seeing this? Appears to be working fine for me when switching between 15s, 30s and 1m. (I always set mine to 1 min anyway and haven't noticed any issues during normal use)

This is what I'd try for both of you. Factory reset first, then flash the rom, reboot and let it sit for at least 5 minutes. Then test it out.
I used to always do my factory resets right after flashing a rom, so in case you are doing that like I generally like to do, don't. If you factory reset after flashing it will cause a number of issues, including problems with Google apps. There are important apps on the data partition that are needed for the rom to function correctly. So only do the reset BEFORE the rom flash.
Hopefully that will help you both. Let me know!

I agree with you factory reset is vital to flashing a new ROM .

Alright all you XDA SGT users I humbly submit my custom ROM!
This is the first release of the AlienInc Roms rightly named 1n1tia|C0ntact. Inside you will find themed UI, wallpaper (please note the new live wallpaper "Node Battle"), some of my favorite apks, debloated and ready to roll. Oh yeah you will also notice in the screen shots the Over Clocked/Under Volted kernel. I baked in a super stable and very snappy kernel built by Rodderik called LiquidTab. I'm very sure you will enjoy that!
Features:RFS and EXT4 support
Up to 1.2GHz Overclock/undervolt support with Voodoo Support (use voltage control baked in ROM or DL from market)
Custom Theme and UI
Custom Charger sounds
LauncherPro baked in along with touchwiz for your pleasure
Debloated and snappy
working screen capture using stock ROM features(no need for clunky 3rd party stuff)
Evernote
Fancy Widgets
Dropbox
AdAway
ES File Explorer
MyBackup Root
Disclaimer: As with everything else you have found on XDA, neither the staff nor I am responsible for anything that you do to your tab or for anything these files may do to your equipment. All I am able to tell you is that this worked perfectly on my SGT and has worked perfectly on others...no reason to think it will not work on yours.
Recognition section: Obviously big thanks goes to Rodderik for the work done in the "mega thread" and for letting me use his new kernel he is working in my ROM
Insanity213-big help getting me going
S0ckM0nk3y-im off the bench now man! thanks for your help!
Computerkid-all sorts of great input, if you have an epic try his roms
jocala-thanks for testing!
XXCoder - sweet live wallpaper thanks for the tip
Ok so here's the lowdown:
1)visit Rodderik's thread and get your tab in flashing order LINK: [SPRINT][CDMA]Samsung Galaxy Tab (SPH-P100) Mega Development Starter Thread - best case scenario would be to walk through his thread completely first then flash my ROM over top. I recommend you convert to EXT4 to get your speed on
2) download my ROM Mirror or MAIN DOWNLOAD
3) flash via your newly installed CWM
a) you know the drill on the 2 finger boot into recovery(volume up and power; hold volume up until you see CWM).
b) wipe cache x3, wipe data x3, wipe dalvik cache x3 ( no reason to worry about losing any info because you just followed Rodderik's install process, right?)
c) select install zip from sd and choose the file
4) ROM will reboot and you will be off to a fresh start
5) tell your friends about how fun and fast this ROM is
ENJOY!

Sure thing! So did you convert up to EXT4?
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA App
I did...or so i think i did, via option 2 on the prereq page (Mega starter etc etc).
I ended up using the kernel with EXT4 and CWM. I checked to see if CWM was installed, which it was...so as far as EXT4 being converted, would their be a real test or for me to know for sure?
forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=17817306&postcount=5
So if you read through this post you will see the cwm flashable conversion tools. You can do it anytime. You will notice a difference. Things will be noticably snappy.
Thanks for flashing!

I've never tried it on a verizon tab, but I've heard you can flash cdma roms across those carriers. 3g works on sprint on this rom. If you flash it on your verizon the 3g won't work, your tab will be wifi only. Again, I've not tested it personally. Give it a shot and report back to us if you want.

I have not tried JB yet but only one way to find out make sure you do a back up first..
if anyone is having issues with a theme try this flash the AnastasiA_V4 theme like a base and then flash the theme of your choice... good luck
I'm not sure how these work on US variants when coming from the i9300, I flashed the ICS Blue Mod V3 by John Peers on to Aristodemos II and it TOTALLY jacked up my notification pull down.... The icons were themed correctly and all, but the notification window was completely transparent, had a shadow of a giant triangle / up arrow in the center of it, and all my notifications (new email, etc) were transparent against my home screen so the letters were impossible to make out! Are you saying that flashing the AnastasiA_V4 theme first will fix it, because as far as I can tell, there's more tweaking that has to be done in order to get them to work with US variants, it didn't work for me on Aristodemos II - had to flash the ROM back just to clear out all that crap
With the exception of the black theme and the red theme, all the rest cause me to get "system UI has stopped" errors.
No matter what I do I cannot get the others to work.
Rooted stock ICS
Works for me on team insomia...love the clear pulldown great work!!

Download links removed, it's just 4.2.2 framework and apps with 4.3 in the names. Sorry for the misunderstanding, I thought this was 4.3 from the beginning myself. If anyone wants to start trying to port the 4.3 Galaxy S IV google edition, or 4.3 from the Nexus 4 over, just shoot me a PM. I'll be glad to risk my device to help the community.

Because samsung hasn't released source code for 4.2.2, because its not out officially (Everyone that has a samsung phone and is involved in development knows how slow samsung is with version updates,) And for 4.3, this is a leaked build ported from the Xperia Z. We would have much rather tried AOSP, but every attempt with a AOSP rom (Such as the Google edition S4 rom) we couldn't get the system to boot, so we stuck with what we could get working. We would have rather used all of google's sources, but there wasn't much of any other way for us to do it, especially since all of the AOSP roms for the d2att are built using CM libraries. It's a mess of what we've done, i know but at least we were able to bring it over to the device.

S5 Settings
I just used the app that was included in this zip and replaced the system app using Root Explorer. It works okay, but I would like to see this done to the settings app for our model. If anybody can do this mod, please share.

This has been done on other variants, yet still has a few bugs. I'm not sure if they would work on our device as I am not willing to try it currently. But if somebody would like to try it, or mod them for our device, please share.
EDIT 4/25/14: I have flashed framework. It looks great. However, I had issues with incoming calls afterwards. DO NOT flash SystemUI. I have tested it, it is not compatible with our model.

Download Booster
I can not find any threads that convince me that it has successfully been ported. The settings mod allows you to turn the feature on, but it does't actually work. The only thing I've seen that works similar to this, is in this thread.

I am currently looking for mods that may work, or could be ported over, to give us even more S5 features. Let us know if you find the particle lockscreen, ultra power saving mode, fonts, or download booster. If you can think of other mods that we should look for, or can already use, let us know.

Anybody else I may have missed
Also thanks to BeansTown106, ChainFire, SexTape, Hashcode, Sparky_b, and anybody else I may have missed for helping to make this possible.
None of this is my original work. I just wanted to share what I have found. If your phone gets bricked, catches on fire, divorces you, etc..., its not my fault. Tinker at your own risk.

Has anybody found a way to port the S5 lockscreen?

I've shared these tweaks in a couple other threads. Enough people seemed interested, that I decided to share them here.
S5 Apps
All of these apps are confirmed working.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2677686
I have came across this thread. But, I have not checked to see how reliable these apps are.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2690997
Here is a thread with a S5 system dump that you may find apps which work.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2692992
EDIT 4/25/14: I found boot and shutdown animations for the S5 that can be flashed through Safestrap here.

S5 Settings
I just used the app that was included in this zip and replaced the system app using Root Explorer. It works okay, but I would like to see this done to the settings app for our model. If anybody can do this mod, please share.

S5 Toggles and Recent Apps
Xposed - Very easy install, great if your already using Xposed. Plus this gives you a few more options.

Build Prop Edits - Very easy

SystemUI and Framework
This has been done on other variants, yet still has a few bugs. I'm not sure if they would work on our device as I am not willing to try it currently. But if somebody would like to try it, or mod them for our device, please share.
EDIT 4/25/14: I have flashed framework and I have not had any issues. It looks great.

Download Booster
I can not find any threads that convince me that it has successfully been ported. The settings mod allows you to turn the feature on, but it does't actually work. The only thing I've seen that works similar to this, is in this thread.

I wanted to just flash just framework, do I do that just as a flash through SS? I did the xposed mod for the toggles and recent apps so what is the systemui.apk in the same thread as the framework that makes you edit the build prop?

I found the Framework zip on the 9th page. The system UI I have not tried. Not sure what it adds or changes.

Settings is in a different thread (Link is in the OP). The framework changes things like how the volume and reboot menu look. See the third screenshot.

It def is and thanks for that clarification! As far as the settings you said they were just ok? Even the xposed mod for the toggles aren't exact to the stock s5 ones

Its just nice to get a fuller effect with the settings. I prefer the toggles this way because everything works. The S Finder button and a couple of other things dont work with the mods include that.

It seems that SystemUI may be needed to get Ultra Power Saving Mode to work.

● Before I begin, I have received permission from rmarinella to use his cog2 base and post this in my own thread. With that said thanks to rmarinella for allowing me to post this.
● This rom is nothing more than rmarinellas S6 Express lite rom, except i have gone a few steps further to lighten it even more by nearly 300mb to a grand total of a 731mb zip file.
● If you are looking for a full featured note 4 rom this is not it. If you are looking for a rom that gives you just what you need with out bells and whistles with excellent battery life and speed than this is the rom for you.
● Keep in mind that there are certain things in settings that if you try to enable them you will get force close popups, these items are just simply not installed.
● I have been running this for 2 days with ZERO problems. Please inform me if any basic functions of the note 4 do not work. Wifi calling, etc.
● Wipe three times for extra cleanliness, Use latest twrp, flash and enjoy!
● COG2 Based and must be on COG2 bootloader and baseband
Link to dev-host:
N910T_S6_Express_Mr_Klean_1.0.zip - 731.24 MB
Xposed Instructions. ☆☆☆PLEASE DONT THANK ME, THANK TEKHD☆☆☆
● Flash this file first in twrp:
2_xposed-sdk21-arm-20150430-arter97.zip - 5.24 MB
● Flash this file second in twrp:
1_TEKXnesis_N4_NE_Xposed_APK_TEKHD.zip - 493.10 KB
Wanam lollipop works great and dvfs disable works as well.
Heres the latest baseband and bootloader.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=62335276
● After installation there might be a few apps that are installed that you can further remove or freeze with titanium backup. Please compare my screen shots to your titanium backup
Awesome, downloading now.
Thanks

So you cut about 550 mb is size of of the stock TW firmware.
Does anytime who had this running have a screen shot of the RAM usage. And a battery screen shot. Would love to see what it looks like running.

Basically cut almost 1gb from stock firmware as the stock firmware is around 1.8gb. Took rmarinellas 1gb rom and cut it down to 731mb with his permission.
Thanks for another Rom choice. You might want to mention this is COG2 base. Also would like to know if the Gear 2 Watch and Gear VR would work or do I need to add in a bunch of add-ons.
Thanks again!!

No gear vr and gear watch apks have been removed. Rmarinellas version should work though.
Just thought i'd post battery life and screen time. Keep in mind everyones usage varies. With that said, best I've ever seen in the time owning this phone, that includes kitkat as well.
