[Q] Note 2 LTE bootloader bootloop? - Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a problem, I was on AICP 6.0 (stock AICP Kernel) and had TWRP recovery [t0lte - Note 2 lte]. This morning, my phone randomly shutdown with full battery, and went into bootloop. Its the kind of boot loop where when I try to access my recovery (Vol. up + home + power) The phone restarts before it even gets to the recovery. Same with the Download mode, It restarts before I press up to confirm that I really do want to go in download. Now, I'm stuck here unable to do anything. Any Ideas?

I got it to somehow boot into recovery. It is solved now

HELP! Boot loop, cannot access recovery

Hello,
I was happily using CM7, and while reading through a Diablo III news page (hopefully it comes out soon ), my phone rebooted into a boot loop. Weird, but I figured at worst I would wipe data and reinstall a ROM. Unfortunately, I can't get into recovery any longer.
If I boot the phone normally, I see the white HTC splash screen for a few seconds, then it reboots. I can use HBOOT fine, but as soon as I try to reboot normally / boot into recovery / boot into Restore Factory Defaults, my phone will try to boot accordingly for a second, then reset. Let me clarify...
Pull and replace battery
Boot into HBOOT (volume down + power)
Select Recovery
Phone reboots and reaches CWM Recovery 3 for about 1/2 second, not long enough for me to click anything
Phone reboots into boot loop
I've used HBOOT to flash to CWM Recovery 3.0.0.8, downgraded to the stock radio, run the 2.2 RUU. I'm still running up against the same boot loop problem.
I wouldn't be surprised if it was a hardware problem, but I'm anxious to hear if anyone has ideas to try first. Additionally, is there any way to restore to S-ON through HBOOT in case I need to bring this into a Verizon store?
Thanks!

Stuck in bootloop can't power to recovery or Odin.

Hello all, as the title states. my Note 2 is stuck in a bootloop. Originally I had the Liquid smooth ROM flashed, I have been running this ROM for several months with no issue. Yesterday I tried to flash the Blissstalk ROM using the usual method: TWRP 2.8.5 > Full wipe > Flash Blissstalk > Wipe dalvik/cache again > Reboot system. Phone loaded up fine went through setup and installing apps fine. I put my phone on charge last night and woke up this morning to it stuck on the Bliss bootscreen. I pulled the battery and tried to boot to recovery (Vol up + home + power) instead of loading recovery my phone went straight to the bootscreen. Tried 3 more times and then 3 times to get it to boot to Odin. Nothing happens other than it goes straight to the bootscreen and gets stuck. Not sure what to do now and looking for a way to, if nothing else, return it to stock so I can start fresh.
Did you try the 3 button combo with no battery and then install the battery with the 3 buttons still pushed? It may sound crazy, and it's tricky too, but I'm hoping that you haven't tried that as to it may be the fix you're looking for.
Make sure you press the vol up+power+home key and keep it pressed until you see the Samsung logo appear. Your switch might be a but loose

Samsung Galaxy S4 bootloop

Hi, I have a Galaxy S4 I9500 and I'm using GEAR CM13
The ROM was working fine until a while ago, but now suddenly there's a bootloop. Last thing I remember doing was accidentally holding the power button a bit long (while trying to lock the phone) so the power off/reboot menu came up and and then I tried to exit from it, but the menu didn't go away and the phone entered into a boot loop
Now, the Samsung i9500 logo just keeps flashing every 5 seconds. I'm unable to enter into recovery mode. I can enter download mode but it just exits out of that after 5 seconds and starts flashing i9500 logo again. I read about a hack to remove battery as soon as I enter download mode and it worked. It stays on download mode now. ODIN recognizes the device. What can I do using ODIN to fix the bootloop? Is there any ODIN flashable zip? I'm on the latest [20160711] build. I have important data in my device. Please help me recover it
I know I can reflash stock ROM and from there, reflash GearCM13 but I do not want to lose data as much as possible. I'm trying for fixes which do not wipe my data partition. I will go ahead with the standard method if I do not find a fix to recover from bootloop without losing data.

12.2 Boots to black screen. Can force boot to TWRP, but not Android

SM-T900 Pro 12.2 boots only to a backlit black screen. If I attempt to boot to recovery (vol down + home + power), I can boot to TWRP, but not to an OS.
This device had been rooted before. I was trying to install LineageOS 14.1. In my mind, I followed these instructions perfectly.

I've rooted and installed quite a few ROMs on quite a few devices, but I'm stumped.
Works:
Can boot to download (and can use Odin (v.3.10)
Can boot into TWRP recovery
Can always reboot with vol down + home + power
Doesn't work:
Can't boot normally - a reboot takes me to a backlit black screen.
Can't boot to the OS (not from recovery either)
How strange, mine has just started doing the same thing, I thought I needed a new battery but no.
I have a SMT-520
Like you I can boot into TWRP and the android recovery mode but that's it when I try to boot to android it just sits on a black screen nothing more,
I can connect with Odin, I've tried re-flashing new rom and the original rom back on to the device but still not working please any info will be great
thanks

Mine did the same thing but I left it on the black screen and after a couple minutes it rebooted and went black for a while and then finally booted into 14.1 rom

Stuck in the boot animation logo - can I recover?

--- I am stuck in the boot animation logo screen with both Lineage OS 8 and the stock Samsung ROM ---
I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab S (SM-T800). I've installed TWRP and Lineage OS 7.1.2 on it a while ago. However, I was never able to boot into TWRP after that - pressing the Power key, the Volume up key and the Home key always got me to the "Downloading..." screen instead.
Recently, my Lineage OS ROM kept resetting unexpectedly, so:
- I did a factory reset, trying to solve the problem. It didn't, but I noticed that on first reboot after the factory reset, I got to the TWRP Recovery screen.
- I decided to install a new custom ROM. I downloaded Lineage OS 8 and did another factory reset from my existing Lineage OS 7.1.2.
- When I got to the TWRP Recovery screen, I chose "Install" this time and installed Lineage OS 8 (without doing a clean first...)
- On first boot after install, it got stuck into the Lineage OS boot animation logo.
- I had to reset it using the Power key, the Volume up key and the Home key - this got me into the "Downloading..." screen
- I used Odin to flash the stock SM-T800 ROM I got from sammobile.com (T800XXU1CRJ1_T800OXX1CRJ1_ROM.zip)
- ROM was successfully flashed, but it got stuck again - this time in the stock ROM boot animation logo on first reboot.
So now:
- I am stuck in boot animation logo with both Lineage OS 8 and the stock Samsung ROM
- My tablet is visible in Odin (so I could maybe flash smth else?)
- I can only reboot in Download Mode
- I have adb and fastboot on my PC, but I don't know how to make my tablet visible to these tools in the current situation
Is there any way I can recover from this?
Did you end up finding a solution? I am having a similar issue with my T700. Trying the stock rom now
Yes, managed to boot into recovery mode (Home + Volume Up + Power button). From there, I went through format partition and reset dalvik, then reset - the tablet finally booted after that.
