Hello, all!
First off, I'm very excited to say that this thread has an XDA Portal post now! :good:
After seeing this thread and seeing that it is dead, I have decided to resurrect it with my own!
Signatures
I will make you a signature that has:
1. The XDA Developers logo on it
2. Your username on it
3. Your rank on the forums on it
You may specify what color of signature you would like. There are four XDA Official Theme styles available:
XDA 2013 Brown

XDA 2013 White
XDA 2015 Light
XDA 2015 Dark
You also have the option of a completely custom-colored signature. If this is your choice, please specify the colors you would like.
The text of your username and your rank will be in the respective "xda" and "developers" colors in each signature. See my signature below for an example of a custom-colored version (it matches my avatar).
I give all of the credit for the colors of the original XDA 2013 signatures to @jake044, as well as the colors of all the XDA themed signatures to the wonderful creators of the XDA Developers website. I'd also like to give a shout-out to @Lesicnik1 for making the thread [Cont]Get your XDA-Dev Status Sigs here!, and also inspiring me to make a custom-graphic-making thread.
Please either PM me or post in this thread if you would like one.
Also, if you would like to see some examples of signatures I've made for other users, head over to my profile and click on the "XDA Signatures" album.
Avatars
I can make you a custom colored version of any of the avatars below (if you want it to match your custom colored signature), and you can specify whether you want your username on it or not. However, whether or not you choose to include your username, the avatar will have both your rank and "xda devs" on it. See @SkywalkerZ's custom colored avatar and signature below for an example.
XDA 2015 Dark 80x80
XDA 2015 Light 80x80

About The Attachments
• TemplateSigs.zip contains all four of the template signatures (XDA 2013 Brown, XDA 2013 White, XDA 2015 Light, and XDA 2015 Dark), which you can download if you're interested in making your own signature.
• TemplateAvatars.zip now contains the two 80x template avatars (XDA 2015 Light and XDA 2015 Dark), as well as the two 180x template avatars of the same themes, which you can download if you want to create your own avatar.
• ContinuumFonts.zip contains the much sought-after XDA logo font, Continuum, which is used in all of my avatars and signatures (with a few exceptions for custom ones). Download this if you want to have the font on your device, on your PC, or for use making your avatar or signature.
For some tips on making your signature picture(s) clickable to a webpage/website of your choice, be sure to check out my guide: [Guide] Linking images on XDA.
NOTE - If you download, use, or appreciate my work in any way, please make sure to rank this thread 5 stars, vote on the poll, and click "Thanks".
Reserved
Here it is - the long-awaited post in which I show all of you how to make your custom-made sigs look just as good as mine!
Thanks to my bud @wrongway213 for prompting me to post the instructions - go give his profile a look and also give him a "Thanks"!
And for the record, my officially supported signature-making program is Paint.NET, so these instructions are for that program.
Follow these steps to make your sig look perfect!
1. Download one of the sigs I've already made that was made for a [your rank]. The colors don't matter, and the user doesn't matter, either.
2. Make a copy of that image, and name it "[your username]Sig" or something like that. Open them both in Paint.NET.
3. Figure out which image is the one you want to edit (you wouldn't want to make all of the changes to the wrong one, right?)
4. Now, first things first - select the area that contains the random user's username, and delete it.
5. Use the color picker to pick the background color.
6. Use the Magic Wand to select the area that you just deleted, and then use the Paint Bucket to fill it with the background color. Your sig is now ready for customization.
7. EXTREMELY IMPORTANT STEP - For each and every change you make to the text, zoom in and move the scroller bar exactly the same on both of the images that you have open (the one you're editing and the one you are using as a base). For an example, let's say you are editing the "xda" font.
8. Zoom in to the appropriate size for your eyes on both images (it needs to be pretty close up), and move the slider/scroller bar at the bottom all the way to the left on both images. When you switch from image to image, the image should not change a single bit.
9. Now, select the area in which the "xda" font is on the custumizing image and [see steps 5 and 6].
10. Go ahead and choose the color you'd like to to put the "xda" font in.
11. Open up a text box, choose size 28 and font Continuum Medium, and type "xda" (all lowercase}. Place the text in the blank space beside the "developers" font.
12. Now, all you have to do is continually open up the base image and the image you're editing and continue moving the "xda" text around until it matches the base's positioning to the pixel. Or, if you're not as specific as me, just approximate it.
13. For all of the other text editing, just do the exact same thing using the above steps.
14. Done!

Hey @thenookieforlife3
Could u make me a sig?
With my user name "SkywalkerZ' and my RC title and the style should be the 2015 Dark theme
Also to make it matching with my RC title, Could you make the 'XDA' text green and 'developers' text white?
Similar to one of your sigs in your album
Thanks mate!

Hooray, my first official customer! You can have a post thank for that.
And of course, I will make you one!
So basically, I'll use the dark gray background of the XDA 2015 Dark theme as the background color, the green of your XDA username for the "xda" text, and white for the "developers" text. Sound good?
I'll upload it as soon as I can tomorrow.

The XDA 2015 signatures just have the color scheme of the XDA 2015 themes. Their design is the same as your current one.
And of course, I'll make you an avatar!
Can you make the sig and avatar squarish to match the XDA material design trend?
Thanks man once again, it was really a quick reply for my request... I really liked your work...

What is it:
This is a quick extension I coded up to turn XDA threads into an image gallery. The extension button will enable when you're on a topic that it is able to translate, clicking it will open a new tab that dynamically fetches images as your scroll down. Keep in mind this is an Alpha, did it in one day, so it may ( read "most likely" ) will have problems. Its great on those "Post your screenshots" ( wallpapers, cases, whatever ) type threads.
Permissions:
- "Access your data on forum.xda-developers.com" - This is to fetch images from the forum, I haven't messed around with removing it since I was just using this personally but decided to release to you. Promise I don't care, nor gather, anything about what you do on XDA.
- "Access your tabs and browsing activity" - This is to detect when you switch between tabs and enable/disable the extension button. Also I do have this hooked into Google Analytics now, but I only gather extension page views to see what's being used. In the future I'll be hooking it into events as I add features( if it's popular enough ) to decide where to put my efforts. No personal information is collected.
- "Storage": Allow extension to save Extension Settings.
How to Install:
New: Added to official Chrome store now just add via https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/xda-gallery-beta/bohmnlfnbncjhpjagccfgblhcdgicdnp
Reporting Bugs:
If you'd like to report bugs then please give me the thread you had an issue with, and if you can narrow it down to an image then link to the post containing that image ( if it's working, there is a link under each image to bring you to the post. ).
What's Next:
Currently the extension will start showing images from the forum page you launched it from. Going to implement a way to jump to the beginning or specific page.
Implement scrolling upwards to load the previous pages images, this is needed for the next item.
Lots more ideas for "community" type features But gotta get the basics hammered down first!
Change Log:
3/15/2013
Added an "Advanced" options section allowing you to override the number of images and fetch all of them. ( If it doesn't work correctly on some thread blame mon5trum, he requested it )
Some bug fixes
3/9/2013
Now when viewing images in the popup you can click to view prev and next, or just use the arrow keys to navigate!
New Extension Settings page, styled to blend in and match chromes style for settings.
Setting to adjust the minimum number of images to fetch( Careful here as it wont render any images until it finds at least this number, could take awhile if you try and use on a thread that doesn't have many images ).
Setting to turn on debug mode ( Will show logging in the Chrome console. NOTE: I'd leave this disabled unless you need to troubleshoot an issue as it could slow down logic a bit )
3/7/2013
Lots of fixes and enhancements in this one.
First off, thanks to Pooley! He is an awesome guy, and very talented. Thanks to him with have a great, professional looking icon!
Aspect ratio is now respected
Added image zoom capability
Now identify images with broken links and shows in small window( as to not break scrolling functionality for now )
Images should also layout nicely in a column format
Fixed quite a few bugs( hopefully without creating new ones )
Hmmm... seems like there should be more, but I'm too lazy to look at my commit log, so just check it out
3/2/2013
NEW: Now on the official Chrome Web Store
Starting to work on the look a bit, its still pretty ugly lol... What can I say, graphic design isn't my thing, but it'll get better
1/27/2013
Pretty much a complete rewrite
Fixed loading duplicate issues
Better error handling( Will tell you when it's reached the end of the thread )
Asynchronous loading should now be working correctly
Do you find this useful? Click the Thanks button to send me some encouragement... Or if you're feeling really generous buy me a redbull to keep me going at the keyboard ( If not, no worries, it's hardly expected )
Great idea mate, thanks

It doesn't work if the page contains a gif. But gifs are shown in the gallery though.
Example: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=38762538#post38762538. And i think sometimes it also happens if a gif is present in a user's signature.

It's working now. Seems to be haphazard.

Ok here is the icon. first attempt. zip contains psd + png (512, 38, 19).
Will try another way as I don't see clearly the pic on 19x19 res. But it's a first try, tell me more about color, about shapes what do you eventually like to see in the icon.
FYI no active/inactive as the inactive will be the greyscaled version of the active one
OK second try
I like this one (minimalist and easely recognizable even in 19x19) what do you think ?
Also attach a zip with psd + png (512, 38, 19) ON/OFF mode

@ÜBER™ man u seem like a regular with these things..the icon u gave was really smooth but make sure when we rescale the icon to 96px the details are distinctly visible. Anyways like the concept.
@pooley:) dude u sure r a professional..really appreciate the time u put into this and came with 3 new concepts. I would love to see what more concepts u develop. For a suggestion..May be a mixture of 1st and 3rd design would be super cool.
PS: @pooley:) 1st and 2nd concepts are in jpg format. Icons for transparency purposes must be in png format

A Message to all the Designers :
Most prominent colors in the icon should be blue and dark gray as the app is designed in those aesthetics. White should be minimal as we are going for a darker theme. Hope i made myself clear..! Thanks

Makes the "XDA 2013 Beta - 1024" XDA theme look more like "XDA 2010". For those who prefer the old fonts and colors, but still want all the new features of the 2013 theme (e.g. DevDB).
Make sure you're using the "XDA 2013 Beta - 1024" theme on XDA to use this userstyle correctly.

Download:
Grab it from userstyles.org:
http://userstyles.org/styles/94422/xda-2013-to-2010?r=1382614350
Installation:
You'll need Stylish (Stylish for Firefox | Stylish for Chrome | Stylish for Opera | Stylish for Safari) or a similar add-on to apply the userstyle.
FAQ:
Q: Does this theme apply to all of XDA?
A: No, it only changes the forums (the Portal, Wiki, etc are untouched).
Q: I found a part that isn't themed!
A: Let me know, post a link to the page and I'll fix it.
Q: 2010 still has different layouts, some items are in different positions, etc. Can you change that?
A: It depends. Basically, I probably won't be able to change any item's position and make it look good using a userstyle.
Q: Are the ads removed?
A: No.
Q: How can I be notified of updates?
A: Stylish should automatically check & download updates (unless you have that option turned off). Otherwise I'll post in this thread whenever I update, so you can also subscribe if you want.
Q: Can I check the source code?
A: It's available on userstyles.org, just click the "Show Code" button.
Q: Are there any risks?
A: Risks are explained here, and you can check the code to make sure it's clean.

Nice job, you even made xda news! Congrats!
It is looking awesome. You did a nice job dear..:good:
One more thing -> You have made XDA reborn. IMHO..
Truly stylin'
Hey @GermainZ
Just wanted to thank you for turning my page dark. At first I tried the Dark XDA "Retro" 2010 look and liked it...until I saw your signature and the fully Dark XDA Theme with the Universal Mods. Love this look! It's so much easier on the eyes too after spending so much time in front of a computer all day.
I try never to skip a day of the News board or XDA on Google+ because I know I'm bound to find something cool to learn or to try. And today, my friend, you made the News thread and XDA site more of a playground than it already was for me. Lol Awesome work, sir!!
Thanks again,
tinydynamite00
Sorry ... accidentially posted in the wrong thread.
There's so much difference between xda 2010 theme and xda 2015 theme! Amazing work :good: :good: :good:
I've been around for so long, and it's only now that i found this...
It's never to late to say thanks, so many, many thanks, i find it way better like this
Also like your dark/blue theme, but the unread threads aren't too easily to find for me.
I don't know if you can understand what i mean, but even if the unread threads are bold, they don't catch my eyes as they do in the 2013 to 2010 theme
@GermainZ I don't know if you'll ever come back here but... here's a little question, would it be possible to move the "subscribe forum" and "mark forum read" buttons as we loose many space because of them ?
i've made a screenshot to make it more clear :
Original announcement: http://www.xda-developers.com/announcements/xda-2015-forum/
Please use this thread to report issues with the new 2015 forum template! We'll be working like mad over the coming weeks to make everything just right. :highfive:

Probably the bug...look at the background of the picture of the phone. It should be dark I guess.

Yeah, please make an option the hide the sidebar... it's WAY too bloated...
Honestly I really liked the previous 2010 theme... but, I understand you have to evolve...

Ah,its back yes
XDA PORTAL POSTS,Trending in themer etc etc
these should not be shown on profile like my profile and signature messes up due to this and becomes scrollable
Also tell us where the option or we can go to use previous theme if some one not comfortable with this one
PS Mini Statistics and friends bar overlap your profile when you see "most thanked" on profile page
Always better :good:
Found a small bug - our "Follow the rules" signature .gifs don't display correctly on the 2015 Dark theme, mainly because their background is transparent.
Maybe someone with a lot of time on their hands could work on making the background of the .gifs a solid color! :good:
2010 theme, opening random forum page -> ~5MB page size
2015 theme, opening random forum page -> ~100MB page size, of trendings and colors and images... and wow...

Yup, especially when zooming the important thread column gets worse readable.
Apart from that, good work.
how to surf this forum now if half of the screen is used up by the side panel???
please make it an option to disabled it.
New white 2015 theme is nice... except the constant sidebar. That needs to have an option to turn it off like the 2013 theme does.
Also, is 2013 theme still in beta?
i found a bug i can only replicate on waterfox (64bit version of firefox) google chrome is ok and also ie, if you make a search for threads opened by (user) like this http://forum.xda-developers.com/search.php?searchid=307447822
when the window is maximized all results goes under the right sidebar but if i take the window and go to a smaller size everything shows screen attached

Sharing Themes
============
It is possible through a shared account but there are limitations.
Requesting access
============
Post a request in the thread
Nomination
========
Members can nominate anyone they know that posts a request but must not share account details directly. Members are vouching for this person so should know and trust that individual.
Gaining access
===========
Once nominated I'll pm account details. No one else you do this I would like to maintain the members list.
Downloading a theme
===============
Go to themes app
Sign out
Sign in
Use 'sign in with email' (below facebook banner)
Sign in to shared account
Download and apply theme
Sign Out
Sign in (with your own account)
Uploading a theme
=============
Go here
https://themes.htc.com/#/landing
Sign in to shared account
Create a theme
Put your xda user name in theme description
Save theme
Log out
Post here that you've added a theme.
Add theme name
& screenshots
(I'll add details and link to theme list)
Limitations
========
Security of the shared account (hence the nomination process)
Your own private themes will be deleted from sdcard after signing in to shared account.
You will need to download your private themes again. (Not really an issue since you only need your current theme downloaded at any time)
The shared theme will survive through reboots but will need download again if you change theme.
Happy sharing (maybe?)

There are files of theme in /system/customize/resource too.
And there is a json folder and files in there.
Not sure this is going to be possible at this stage.
Might turn into a simple discussion (or lack thereof) thread.

I've managed to share a theme between HTC accounts. I set up a second HTC account and created a theme with it. I signed into Themes using this second account, downloaded and applied the theme.
I then signed back into my original account. The shared theme sticks across boots.
As we know themes are downloaded to sdcard/Android/data/com.htc.launcher/files/LocalTheme/
I've found that when you apply a theme these files are copied to data/data/com.htc.launcher/files/.htc_theme/ It is these files even from second accounts that stick through boots.
The big problem is that signing in and out of accounts removes themes downloaded to sdcard. Therefore themes on your original account need to be removed then downloaded again.
I'm not sure yet if it's possible to copy a shared theme directly to the data partition. (@ineedone)

Can download published themes by people.

This discussion is about sharing unpublished themes. Let's face it not all themes will get published. I know I've asked for my Breaking Bad theme to be published but I can't see it happening. The messages wallpaper says 'science b1tch'. By using the second account I was able to download and apply an unpublished theme.
I could make this account available by pm for anyone that wanted to add and share themes on here.
I've now tried pushing a shared theme directly to the data partition on a secondary sense7 multirom. That failed probably because that rom hasn't been signed into the second account.

BTW, your theme not getting published is not related to the 'science *****' part.
I made two themes on 20th and 22nd March. And asked for publishing them.
They are still under reviewing.
My themes were simple with only accent color and dialer and keyboard color changes alongwith wallpaper.
