Stuart, I would not doubt it. I got tons of pop up windows and a virus on my PC from that Sammobile site! They even took the liberty of installing software that overrode my browser. Ugh. Sammobile links really should be deleted form XDA. Just sayin'...

I've been trying to get this new Beta 3 file from:
[ROM] Incredible 2 / HTC S710d 2.3.3 ROM based on IS - Beta3 (14 July, 2011)
the problem is that it seems to only be hosted on a chinese website and even putting the page through a translator the link doesn't work & can't register on the site because it says my IP is strictly prohibited.
can someone who was actually able to obtain the file put it on 4shared.com or zippyshare.com(or similiar?)
thanks
[EDIT] in wrong section(sorry), so move to correct section if you wish.

Thread moved to proper forum.
I can't seem to find any Bell or Rogers stock ROMS for the Note 8.
I didn't realize there was a 5120, and tried to flash a 5110 insecure image.
I can't believe, that after many months, no one has ripped and uploaded the stock ROM, and no one has has provided a rom that I can find yet.
SOMEONE ... please help.
BTW I tried "N5120XXCMH2_N5120OXACMH2_N5120XXCMG7_HOME" via ODIN and it fails.
I tried "KERNEL-BTU-N5120XXCMH1-1375359679" and the screen gets artifacts. (BUT I can get into CWM and/or Download mode).

Ah, yea, I realize I'm at the mercy of Bell to release the update for the software ... I didn't choose the tablet. I won it from MobileSyrup.com

SAMMOBILE.COM is (effectively) the Samsung ROM portal. You should be able to find the latest build for your S7 there. MAKE SURE that the version you download is intended for the specific carrier / device it came with. Otherwise, bad things shall likely result. Pity you didn't get the international version, which is readily available in the USA. You can flash just about any of the EU builds onto it. Good Luck.

This is because that member didn't look to see if it's available on SamMobile first before referring you to it.
This specific device doesn't appear to be available (for some strange reason) within any of the handful of good Firmware sites that I have. I also noticed a bunch of individuals asking about this in the SamMobile forum as well.
This is the reason why I had referred you to those threads but, here's just a few more helpful items...

If all else fails, and you can't obtain any guidance or support from anywhere above, your next best bet is to post your question within the following Q&A thread that's specific to all the S7 Edge devices and variants.

It's not a big deal my friend...
I've learned allot myself when I was getting into Member Guidance and i had also taken my lumps from some of the experts too.
I can only help advise/suggest/recommend to you the following brief (very brief because there's more to it) and important information...
1) Confirming and Confirmation: That you both understand the question the member is asking as well as the accuracy of the thread, area of the forum and the outside of the link your referring the member to.
2) Knowledge of the Subject: Know when to provide guidance because I've skipped over questions that I knew that I wouldn't be of much help with.
I wish you both the best of luck!

Its not 150$ but theres a thread created in s20 and n20 forums. You can read the info on it there and theres a link to the website as well. Of course if you are talking about unlocking your bootloader
Can you link? I'm so not familiar with how to use forums

I suggest you read everything in the thread and on the website. Might be good also to learn how to navigate XDA as youll likely need to learn if you are going to want to root or do anything once unlocked since everythings on xda lol

The internal components of the phone are there to work on mobile networks, it's the IMEIs are missing.
It's a blanket rule of XDA Devs to not talk about IMEI modification so I'm gonna quit while I'm ahead. Google is all you need

Yep, if the IMEI is all 0's, there are definitely ways to put a working valid one on there
