I Have an LG G2 - Sprint phone the LS980 , been experimenting with it lately , however the last experiment went all wrong
I flashed the stock Rom of the Indian version KDZ file using the LG 2014 Flash tool, I was able to boot but Obviously there were a lot of issues using the OS . However on the next reboot I was stuck in a fastboot loop.
While in the fastboot loop , I was able to erase all partitions one by one and flash back these specific to the ZVC firmware http://downloads.codefi.re/autoprime/LG/LG_G2/LS980/Stock_Firmware/zvc_partitions/
Now I only have Recovery mode and even though I have recovery mode , I cannot adb sideload a file as the system keeps saying it cannot detect a device !
I also tried the Download mode , I can enter the Download mode , but the LG tool will no longer flash it.
Any suggestions ?
Was able to get Download mode going with LG Flash tool , but I now get this error.

Hi, my sister have a LG G3 16GB phone.
One day the phone restarted it self and since then, it stuck on the LG logo.
So i searched the web (mostly here on XDA) and i found this guide: how to unroot lg g3 all variants.
So i started following it and the fist step is to enter download mode, BUT, when i tried i got to this screen:

So i went back to searching the web for solution and i found these guide: Tutorial| Fixing "Fastboot mode started".
But i don't have the LAF file of my sister or phone don't even know what android version she had so i found these software: [TOOL] KDZ and TOT Extractor but when I open it, it's all empty and i don't know how to use it.
p.s to enter the download mode (fastboot mod) it's taking something like 3 minutes until something other then the LG logo show up. And it's not the cable or the USB port because i have LG G3 32GB and i enter the download mode with no problem.
Does it still boot normally?
No, stuck on the LG logo.
What phone model?
All I know is that its a 16gb d855. It's bought in Israel so I guess that it's a European version

and flash one of this files depending of what android version you had:

This only works on variants with a unlocked bootloader such a LS990

I get a message <wating for device>.
In device manager I see the phone as "android"
I installed and re-installed the LG drivers but my pc don't recognize it
You must manually install the driver.

so the issues goes like that i was using cloudy 2.2 rom my varient was g3f400l i accedently installed 855 version from twrp the fone stated in fastboot mode . using fastboot i erased boot.img modem and recovery img laf.img and also reflashed those file flashboot gave error on partitiongt img file stating tha no file to flash so the fone did start with wrong rom that is d855 with a lot of errors i tried to falsh tot with flashtools it refused to flash stating that i am using wrong file so i edited build pro from d855 to f400l then i entered download mode connected flash tools i did start flash just after laf.img i gives an error stating unable to flash partion some thing like that and stops my fone is permanently in download mode when i turn it on the pc does detect it so as LG support tools but the KDZ flasher never worked for me nor the lg support tools they do download the right file but just as starts to updates it says disconnected check cable( same issue occured when my fone was working properly i tried to flash on windows 8 and windows 7 mechines ) any ways flashtools only flash laf.img and gives error and KDZ flasher for some wired reason didnt flash my fone before. i am thinking if some how i could enter the fastboot mode then i would manually flash all the files included system.img the fone would boot but how to i enter fastboot. and why the kdz never worked for me doesnt it work on win 7 and win 8 or is it the drivers what should i do help really appriciated thanks what if when falsh tools start to flash laf.img i remove the cable so laf.img cannot get flashed would that allow me to enter fastboot or there is any software that would work in download mode and manually flash all the img files plz help me thanks

Since the rom ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/development/rom-resurrection-remix-lp-v5-5-5-t3198675 ) of my phone crashed. After reboot, the phone is blocked on LG logo. Now, i can't enter in recovery mode (or in the download mode) and when I start my phone, it's fixed on the LG for 5 to 10 minutes, and after that it goes to a terminal (started fastboot mode).
I have read several tutorials to use fastboot to flash the recovery to reinstall a rom, but i have a error when i tried to erase or flash the recovery partition.
I look on my phone, and this error appear : "failed to send erase grp start address".
what can i do to fix this error ?

Use the "boot" command instead of "flash" and it should boot up into recovery or downloadmode, depending on which file you use
I tried but i am stucked on teamwin logo.

Hard to tell, there are some laf.img files floating around on xda and google or even better, extract the laf.img from the stock kdz depending on your android version (for instance you flashed 6.0 you pick the 30b kdz and extract it with the firmware extraction tool)
I would suggest you to and try to use the boot command with them..
Be carefull, do not use the flash command until you found one that boots into downloadmode properly or you can loose your fastboot mode aswell
From then on you should be able to boot into the downloadmode and flash a new firmware via the lg flashtool

Can you elaborate, how exactly your phone crashed, it is very unlikely that it will mess all the partitions just by crashing the rom?
The rom crushed twice, and now i can not access to recovery to install a new rom. I only have access to the fastboot command. Adb not working.
I tried to boot on recovery.img, but it's not working.

I can too go into my phone as root with adb command : adb shell.

i have bricked my LG G3 (D855) trying to flash a kdz file, now i cant get into download mode, it says "boot verification error". I also cant get into fastboot or adb because fastboot is replaced by download mode and adb is not enabled, i have cyanogenmod recovery so i also have no access to a local terminal to flash laf.img or someting like that. I tried to install CM with CM Recovery but is is stuck in a bootloop.
What can i do?
Hi , Guys today my lg g3 verizon got hard bricked and stuck on lg logo...
yesterday i delet the download mode to acces to fastboot mode in attemp to install twrp and i failled ,after hours i replaced the many system apps (hotspot.camera...) but the phone stuck on the lg logo....
So, I only have access to fastboot mode ..and the system recovery((not custom recovery))

One of these will work for you. I can't say which one because I don't know what your PC is seeing your phone as...

No need to do fastboot and all of that, just be lazy and use the apps instead.
