[Q] Franco kernal not working with pa_maguro-4.0-BETA-20131223.zip

Hi all,
I just factory rest my Samsung Galaxy Nexus GSM (maguro) and installed the latest GAPPS and the phone works fine,Franco kernel does not work with this ROM is there some compatibility issues with BETA PA and Franco?

Could try flash stock kernel first, then retry Franco kernel. May work

nothing works in that rom and developer had also left that thread
only for the name its there

The thread is specific for your device/Paranoid Android. You'll have more of a chance of finding someone with your device/love of PA ,who can compile & is willing to compile the rom.
Either that or compile yourself. Iam not being harsh, just realistic with your expectations

Afternoon Matey. Only Nexus devices and oppo 5 officially supported by Paranoid Android. You're going to either find someone to build for you or build it yourself.

[Q] Back to 3.99 question

Because of problem with spilt SMS (problem concern only kitkat) when 3rd are used I must go back to 3.99 RC2. Is there any problems with that? Or just latest TWRP and factory rest and flash RC2 and gapps for 4.3?

Just add 84 radio to the list. And the bootloader for 4.3 .Should be good to go. I'd make a nandroid before as a matter of course

ohhh... changing radio is known action for me but bootloader not...
i found this but is not for TWRP I think. Is this necessary to change bootloader?

Can try without I've not changed my bootloader since jb. But would have been irresponsible of me not to have mentioned it.

One question. Everything is OK (small problems but handled) but I see a can not get it all saved in google cloud wifi and apps. Its normal? Calendar and Contacts are OK.

Is it possible to install Paranoid on Doogee MAX DG650? Which stable version I can install? This will be my first time installing customized ROM to phone, so do i need to take any precausion measures?

Hiya matey. Yes mediatek. You're not realistically going to get a custom rom for your phone. At best you may get a modded stock rom. All the source code for your devise is closed source, as in mediatek will not share it openly for others to port custom roms with. If you can root it ,you maybe able to run xposed framework which will give you some custom features. But again being realistic I can't see you ever getting a custom rom for it unless mediatek make their source code public.
