INFO:
Currently the build is still unofficial,
although I got the permission to port the rom and release a thread for our device.
But LiquidSmooth Team first wants to get sure that everything is working correct with the rom. If there are no bugs then we, the thread and the rom becomes official. So I kindly ask you to give as much feedback as possible and don't forget to give thanks to the Liquid Team.
Many thanks for your help!! :good: :highfive:
This is a stable beta build.

LiquidSmooth meets Archidroid:

Full wipe/factory reset is more then recommended and if you are coming from an other base, its important to do a clean installation.
First boot will last a bit longer, can take till 5 to 8 minutes till its up.
It is, as usual, with Aromainstaller, in where you can select several options and apps. Gapps are also included, as well as lowram true in build.prop for transparent statusbar and many more.

So your continuing your work on LiquidSmooth Rom now and not for the Resurrection Rom?
Is this Rom also derive from CM's tree
It depends on when and how RR is continuing...only then I will decide whether to stay with both or not.
Liquid is mainly based on AOSP and Slim, but has also sources from cm included.
Any chance for p1c?
I can try to build one for p1c, sources I already have downloaded...but no promise whether it runs without errors and with success...and I cannot test it...but we will see
P1C version build and uploaded
Hi there,
ok and fine The build for the P1C finished out of the box. :good:
Before flashing, please do a backup (rom, datas, EFS) and there is no modem included in rom.zip.
So please be prepared, if something happens during the installation, because I couldn't test this version.

Any feedbacks on or for p1c version? Is it working? Someone using it and has tested it?
And the usual one? For me everything is ok, but as mentioned I cannot test all features and functions related to mobile data, call and sms/mms etc...
just wondering...but in general: no news are good news or .

Many thanks for testing it and your feedback....
but sad that it doesn't work ....is in terenceg's rom the modem.bin included? If yes can you extract it and include it in my rom build and try it again?
Or is the download link for terencegs p1c version in his thread? Then I can download it and have a look at it by myself....

I didn't see any modem.bin. I copy the entire system folder from your ZIP to Terrance's zip, with and without the boot.img. no problems flashing either way, but it won't boot. It just hangs on the Samsung logo. I am in no way a developer.
Edit: BTW the p1c hasn't had working data since jb 4.1.2, if I remember correctly. I no longer have service on mine, I'm using it wifi only.
Edit2: there is a link at the last page on terenceg's thread. But he retired his thread so link prob wont be good for long
I'm glad to finally see some love for p1c. Thank you
yes but it seems no to install ...I found the download link for terenceg's rom.zip and have it already on my pc. Will have a look at it and compare perhaps I find the problem and can fix it...:fingers-crossed:
ok lets give it a try ...attached you will find a modified updater script for the p1c version. Just remove the txt extension and you can include it in the rom.zip. Would be glad if somebody can try it and hopefully it works....

Swapped files using file managed hd on tablet and I get
assert failed: run-program("/tmp/updater.sh") == 0
E:Error executing binary in zip
Edit: the executing binary error I get with original zip and all the other modified zip files I tried
Very good ROM indeed!
In my opinion, the LiquidSmoothe is the only v.4.4.4 based ROM which is stable. All others, including OMNI and Cyanogen have issues. I'm talking about my personal experience, of course.
Many thanks, guys!
great many thanks for your feedback and glad you like it...this encourages me to take further :good: and hopefully a new update will be released soon...
Special version: LiquidRom meets ArchiDroid
Hi there and good evening,
I build a new and special version for you:
LiquidSmooth meets Archidroid (beta):
Liquid_ArchiDroid_P1_20140921.zip: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23681161096070672
- get sure that you have installed any omni or liquid smooth 4.4.4 version first, so that you have a working kernel installed. Its only because I am not 100% sure, that the kernel updater script is working proper.
- Full wipe/factory reset is more then recommended and if you are coming from an other base, its important to do a clean installation.
- When Aroma installer starts, it begin the other way round, will say the layout is heads up....please wait till the first animation stops and settings will be shown, only then turn the tab to the right direction. Otherwise it could be that the aromainstaller fcs. Perhaps I can fix that "issue" in one of a next version.
- First boot will last a bit longer, can take till 5 to 8 minutes till its up.
In Aromainstaller you can select several options and apps. Gapps are also included, as well as lowram true in build.prop for transparent statusbar and many more.
First boot will last a bit longer, can take till 5 to 8 minutes till its up. So kust flash and have a coffee or a beer !
After staring up, led it settle a few minutes and after that you will have a smooth and fast rom....so download and enjoy!!!! :good:
All thanks and credits go to JustArchi, with whom's github I build this special LiquidSmooth Rom version.
I gave this ROM a try yesterday evening. A lot of UI aspects are "forward looking" and very interesting in terms of future smartphone usability. It seems even a few steps ahead of OMNIROM in that respect. But in some respect it also feels like overload with parameters to set in many different and unusual places.
What I "feel" so far: the current release is still a little rough around the edges and can be improved.
For example: the packaged app spirit2 comes up with a message that it is not working on the P-1.
And getting the hardware buttons back would really be a great thing.
As this is not my primary phone I will spend more time this week to understand all the possibilities better.
Thanks for bringing us this unusual experience.

I've been popping in every now and again and checking the progress on all these ROMs and it looks like everything's falling into place (with a lot of hard work, of course). Great job spleef and everyone else involved.
The one thing that's been hard to keep track of is which bugs have been fixed in which ROMs. So as of now, what are "the usual bugs all our AOSP ROMS have?"
-- Camera focusing issue
-- Weird bugs related to video / camera display?
-- LTE transition still?
-- Others?
Thanks for taking the time.

That's mostly it in a nutshell..
Camera focus
Sometimes choppy video
GPS sometimes doesn't lock for some
Sound quality and phone functions wonky when headset plugged in....
Think those are the only issues and some are random

NOTE
This is an UNOFFICIAL build of Dirty Unicorns ROM for Honami and by NO means this is my ROM. I am just compiling from source and 100% credits goes to Dirty Unicorns team.
Also note, this post is a direct copy/paste from giveme13s original, here, as it all applies here too.
Do NOT expect daily builds. I'll build when I'm free.
Do NOT expect full support. I'm just a noob and still learning
Do NOT use this unofficial build and ask for support at the official threads.
Do NOT be rude.
Respect all users
If you see a NOOB question and you don't feel like replying, DON'T, just ignore that post. If you do reply, good for you.....and be nice in your reply.
Dirty Unicorns is a custom ROM built with stability in mind and optional customization. The idea to start this ROM began out of pure boredom around 4.1.2 on the EVO 3D and later turned into a form of an addiction (a good one) to see where we could go from there. We have since expanded to more devices to include the HTC One, Nexus 5, SGS4 and many more. We quickly realize that users loved what we were doing as well as other developers because it was done the right way. We've always had fun doing it and take pride in knowing that we've done it without having to bug the end user for donations to pay for server costs and/or any of those sob stories you hear. This ROM is 100 percent free and will remain that way.
Those wanting to use our ROM as a base are more the welcomed to do so but please maintained the credits/thanks below, do not ask for donations as it wouldn't be fair to do so considering and let us know as we often like to contribute to other projects.
As stated above, we love to maintain authorship but we also like to publicly praise those that have helped us along the way with our wonderful project. With that said, this wouldn't be possible without the work and help of those listed below THANK YOU ALL!!
| OmniROM | AOKP | CM | ChaOS | Paranoid Android | Slim ROMs | Preludedrew | Team Black Out | Official Testers / Translators |
Please check our gerrit/github for full credits/thanks of individual contributors
Believe it or not, we are human and we do forget things. If we have left someone out of the credit/thanks list, and we'll gladly add on to the list.

New feature: Dynamic Colour Changer! Ported from OmniROM
Hard to figure out who ported it, but it might have been this guy.
Other news is also in the Google+ community for DU.
Download link:
LATEST VERSION IS v8.2 WHICH IS AVAILABLE IN THE THREAD DOWNLOAD SECTION.
Please note, for the latest version, you will still need the Camera20MP_DU.zip and TorchDU.zip flashables attached to this post.
New governors;
Badass,
Lagfree,
Nightmare;
Intelliactive,
Intellidemand.
Disabled governors; Performance, Powersave, and also Conservative. These 3 are pretty much pointless with the new ones built in, and I suspect Conservative may have caused some issues with touch going haywire. A little hard to prove it though.
Old Versions
Version - 8.0 - 10-11-2014 - Latest -- MD5 Checksum
Version - 8.0 - 10-10-2014 -- MD5 Checksum
ver. 7.9 Sept-22, build with JustArchi's ArchiDroid Optimization, Linaro 4.7.4, and SaberMod 4.8.4 (md5sum: 063af4b3973a39c455944a4f48a280d3)
GAPPS
Also attached is an APK and a flashable zip, for replacing the camera in the rom, with the proper 20m Camera. (Cam in rom is 8m only).
You will notice that the torch doesn't work, as the apk isn't included. Please flash it with the attached TorchDU.zip
Cool, congrats man,
Umm are you planing on sharing your sources?
(your changes on device tree and stuff that you made to compile and the dependencies)
That would be great

Omar.

Sure, I've got limited time due to work and study at the moment, so its slow going.
I plan to fork a few sources and commit the changes, or just create a patch file, as there really isn't that many changes.
I'll try get one or the other up on github soon.
Fortunately I've kept a log of the changes in a text file, so it won't be a difficult thing to do. And will probably help a few more newbies.
Wow great man ? download now bro ?

It's the latest one, version 8.0. Synced up to yesterday with the DU github.
Whether or not this makes it new, I don't know.
This is a fresh "new" build of the sources, perhaps.
been wanting to try this one but giveme13s's was outdated
thanks for the hard work !

No, but I'm working on adding some things from that kernel to my own. And also perhaps recompiling Pimped kernel to latest.
Rom now updated with recompiled kernel containing extra governors;
--Intelliactive
--Intellidemand
--SmartassV2
--Badass
Have also removed "powersave", it runs at lowest freq, which makes the phone almost unusable.

Don't disable Heads-Up. You wont be able to answer phone calls otherwise.
You tell...
ROMS should contain everything you need to enjoy Lollipop. You are not required to install any Add Ons, simply download the latest ROM, gapps, flash it, and go!
You are STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup - these can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.
How to flash:
Don't do it if you don't know it
ROM has gapps persistance in between dirty flashes
KERNEL:
Kernel in this rom follows CM source with custom additions.
PREREQUISITE FOR OTA:
To be able to flash over OTA app, TWRP recovery is needed.
Check here for latest F2FS compatible recovery by @invisiblek: http://www.invisiblek.org/twrp/
You can still use CWM and OTA app, but only to download zip file and flash it manually from within recovery. Zip gets saved under AICP_ota folder on your internal SDcard.

Found a couple of issues in the release version:
1. Ringtone and notification ringtones are not sticking in the messaging and phone apps.
2. Contacts list in the phone app glitches showing them in last first, first name first order rather than first name, last name which is how I confogured it. It goes back to my view when I open a contact and then close it.

Had a couple of them installed actually. Uninstalled and deleted theme chooser data and cache. Still got the problem after a reboot and applied stock theme.
Sucks that the theme engine has that bug, though.
EDIT: So my notification ringtone is sticking now, but phone ringtone is still not sticking at all, despite the menus showing the ringtone I selected.

Never noticed before that, but that's why be'coz I'm using Oberon as ringtone.. And.. Since It's one of the default provided ringtones, mine is sticking everytime... I'm getting from other threads similar reports... Also; It was reported as CM Theme bug.. So probably It'll be fixed soon..
Need more time..

As far as I know.. Themes aren't variant dependant.. Did you installed any theme from PlayStore?
Reboot, clear cache from recovery, then reboot to get theme properly applied..

Make a backup, then restore a touchwiz backup (or flash a touchwiz ROM) then calibrate compass. Then restore your backup of this ROM you made first.
By the way, to calibrate compass once you are back to touchwiz, just use dialer code *#0*# , select sensors, then waive your phone in a figure 8 until the number in the little circle at the bottom has a 3 in it.

LTE doesn't work on Boost Mobile? Simple solution by @madbat99 (Thanx Man )
madbat99 said:
@gergl Yeah if you search the thread you'll see a little trick I started to get data. Basically you wipe, flash ROM, gapps, and APN fix. Boot up once, then back to recovery and dirty flash ROM and gapps again (no wipe, no APN fix) and 4g lte data will work fine. If you're running it now without working data and you flashed rom, gapps, and APN fix, just boot back to recovery now and flash ROM and gapps again (no wipe, no APN fix).

Nope.. same as (any) CM12 ROM. Try a better camera app, working..
Great ROM. And what is lockscreen toggle in quick setting use for? I guess its for sleep the phone (like press power button) but its not..
Yes! I've been using this for awhile waiting for a stable release. Although the nightlies have been stable enough for me for quite some time.
Holy jeeeeez!
This ROM is amazing! I have tried a few different ROMS now and this one is smoother than anything. On top of that, it is far more stable than the latest CM11. Obviously the camera is no good. And here is an additional disappointment... the Google camera wont work on it either. But I am willing to live without the camera for the amazingness of this ROM. Awesome battery life too! BTW... I am using the latest PA GAPPS RC.
Running this one myself since the build completed this morning. Seems to be smooth so far, I did switch it to the BMS kernel though. Good work and now with OTA!
has the google camera worked for anyone on this build?
It did not work for me. Also, my GPS is not locking. Will the TW load and restore fix?
This is happening every time I plug in the phone charger. Any suggestions?

You can still use CWM and OTA app, but only to download zip file and flash it manually from within recovery. Zip gets saved under AICP_ota folder on your internal SDcard.

Just in case!
this rom is super cool no lag at all thanks for the awesome build
Awesome ROM!
This ROM is super awesome without any lags and a great battery backup!
I had been following the nightlies before I moved on to some slim based ROM's. I've been noticing a small bug from then.. I even posted regarding that in the previous AICP thread! It's regarding the IME selector icon in the navigation bar. Once the selector icon is disabled from settings, it doesn't show up as it should be. But the icon appears after a reboot even though the selector icon remains disabled.
I've attached screenshots to explain this more clearly. The 1st one is before reboot and the other screenshots are after reboot!
Although it's not a big issue, the selector icon showing up in the Nav bar seems to be a bit ugly! Sorry for being so picky!
Otherwise this ROM is great among the CM based ROM's!
Thank You!
Unable to flash the "aicp_titan_lp-10.0-NIGHTLY-20150907.zip" via TWRP (2.8.5.0).. Just shows a progress bar and recovery reboots.. Any solution?
EDIT:
Tried with TWRP 2.8.6.0, same thing happening.

OP states: Optional: Audio Fix for Google Play Music is attached to this post (see below). Thanks to @hhp_211 for the fix.
I didn't see anything at the end of the post. Is it no longer needed?
Can someone please tell me if there is any way I can change the recent apps cards to the way they should be i.e perfect squares instead of having rounded corners.
I was using the RC version of AICP and in that the recent app cards were squares without any rounded corners. I want the recent app cards in the NIGHTLY version to look like that as well. WITHOUT THE ROUNDED CORNERS!
Is there any file that I can replace from the RC version to get the perfect squares in the NIGHTLY version?
Thanks in Advanced.
Can anyone tell me which gapps package to use with this ROM,earlier I was using Delta gapps and some cm themes weren't installing properly. So I want a gapps package which won't cause that bug
Thanks in advance

Regarding the CM Themes, I think it's a limitation of AICP itself. In order to enable that promising, but in it's current form utterly useless "Custom Header Image" (Settings > AICP Extras > UI > Notification drawer) it prohibits some theme layers from working.
Holy s***, this is the fastest 5.1.x rom i've ever tried for the titan even with the built in kernel, Thanks!
This is one of the Fastest ROM ...Super Fast
