[Q] Stock 2.3.3 able to usw Sense 3 ?

hey guys,
can i usw sense 3 on my dhd stock 2.3.3 [ rooted, busybox installed ]
wanna use the sense 3 lookscreen, sms, contacts and weather. is there any way to usw this without flashing a custom rom ?

y i have to this withe "gingerbreak" just download and install the app -> lunch -> press root ur device -> restart and now have fun ^^

used this one from this forum here. have done the official ota update to 2.3.3 rottet this with gingerbreak. thats all i have done.

I've tried the GingerBreak 1.2 downloaded from this forum, but it doesn!t work. Force Closes and errors, but no root access. I have the official stock 2.36 ROM.

me too, was going from 1.32 -> 1.72 -> 2.36 all from ota and with 2.36 i have rottet my phone.

[Q] Stock HTC 2.2 ROM for rooted phone?

I was wondering if there is a ROM out there (Desire Z, not G2) wich is very close to the stock HTC 2.2 rom, or maybe the real ROM wich can be flashed on my device without losing my flash possibilities?

What you want is either a custom ROM (which come pre-rooted), or an "untouched" version of the official ROM (aside from being pre-rooted, and maybe a few other things). Do not flash a truly official ROM, as this will unroot your phone.

[Q] Wildfire S Android 2.3.3 Version Stock ROM?

I have the Wildfire S (Marvel).
I recently installed/flashed the Android 2.3.3 Version from this thread : ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1485345 ) everything works perfectly except for the wifi so my question is:
1.Is there maybe someway to fix this?
2.Is there another Stock ROM Android 2.3.3 Version (flashable/.zip file for CWM) for Wildfire S that fully works? any links will be helpful.
If anyone is wondering why i am not posting in the thread,its because XDA won't allow me to.

The phone has to be rooted, right?

To flash it, you need a custom recovery (not necessary rooted if rooted means SuperSU must be flashed)
Or you can try to extract the apks in the zip and try to install (didn't try this). If can install then no need to flash but you will have both Sense & GPE dialer.
