Hello, I need help concerning the dualboot for the xperia play, I am at present under the beta android 4.0 of sony and I would like to cross dualboot cyanogenmod 9 FXP and beta android 4.0 official can you explain to me clearly how to make because I am a novice in this kind of manipulation. Acro S, S and SL pretty much share the same stock rom. However from what I believe the rom was edited a little bit to make it compatible with the devices it works on. I would be working on Acro S rom on SL after i get a hold of an SL. But it depends. I got no budget now. I would make Customizable roms if I can get a hold of all 3 Devices FTF files from the first stock rom till the most recent roms. I only have the Acro S first till the latest stock rom. Only thing I need now is people helping me to get back ups of STOCK ROMS from SL. Xperia S i prety much have an Idea of where to get it from.

as i have read from many threads no, it will give you big problems ofyou do that example pcc will recognize you're device as xperia s and will not be able to restore properly

My SL working fine. Just shows Xperia S instead of Xperia SL in about phone. Gonna try editing build.prop Check my siggy for my rom details.

Did it work???
Is it better to stick with a stock Xperia SL or to root, unlock and install a custom kernel and rom on it? Just wanting to know because I may soon want to do it or maybe not, depending on how it is from your experience.
i have already rooted it but don't know what to do next?? Are there any custom roms available for SL?

Thanks for your reply. I've just checked out your ROM for the Xperia S and it looks very awesome. I just have 2 questions:
1. Do I have to flash .55 FW before I flash you ROM ? If yes , please give me a link to download it :good:
2. Does your ROM have major bugs such as CM10 low volume , no 1080P and no FM radio ?

Yes but unless it's an overclocking kernel you'll run @1.5 ghz
And read the all you need to know bit in the S development forum, it shows you how to fastboot a kernel with cwm etc and is just a very useful read
