I used to work for Vivint. They had an app to which would link my account only to my device. If i downloaded the app to another device even If I used the same username/password. it won't work. I would like to know how they did this. What part of the Phone made the device unique app. was it a Serial Number or how. I would be using for my app idea a php backend on a server. which will read the information. ANy help would be greatly appreciated.

It basically shows you a list of all contacts and allows you to sort them in different ways. Also picking a contact will show you all the "meta data" about that contact.

your website only has the one screen shot and doesn't give any other information. Might want to update that before you ask for testers as personally i would like to see what your product is about before i give it access to contact information. Not saying anything is not above board, but generally a little more information would be required.

i just downloaded it, it seems to be running okay. Most features are "Not Implemented" but that's expected

And yes i will be updating the website with more information once it gets closer to release.
The app has just basic sorting functionality now nothing malicious. It does not update any contact information just view only. The download page on the site has a little bit more about what the app actually does.
I had a user report a FC on EVO i thought it might be related to some funky groups created by the sprint rom.

okay, i did get a few FCs using bakedsnack, but still none with cm6. don't know if it's a sense problem or what. can't wait to see this app with full functionality. also i do not know if this is where i should be posting or if you'd prefer a PM.
Need help to build small custom .apk. File needs to have custom logo / banner on startup and then one of the following:
1. Point to login screen (login of actual website)
2. or create login screen that would send login info to website and log me to site

You want an app that just goes to a website? I'm not sure if that's what you're saying.
If that's the case developer.android.com you need to write a program for that, it should be fairly simple (I suggest eclipse with android plugin)

That is easy option, and answer is Yes. I need app that will point to my company website which help us monitor some network stuff. Then I will just log to it.
Hard way would be app simular to facebook app (just instead pointing to fb, it points to my site and contains links inside of app (will leave this for other months in front of me)

Im looking for some information about developing a Bing Search Bot app. The app would automatically search random words for a specific number of searches with a rewards member logged in. Additionally the app would switch to a different rewards member and perform the searches again. Im not familiar with programming an app for android or even what language is used. I wanted to see if this idea is possible and how hard it would be to create before attempting it myself. Any information or advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

About 1600 people have try it.. Although it got mix reviews .. search for in Google play store
I've used it for a long time. It is the best automated app, because it uses the actual web page, and you can change your login as many times as you want.

Hi , I would like to ask for someone knowledgeable in the area of cloning an android app. The particular app in question is the Beca Energy app found here : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.usr.bt.thermostatenergy&hl=pl
The actual cloning of the app I was able to do but the key is to clone this particular app and retain its app data app data. Then transfer it to another brand tablet and run it from there while again keeping all the app data. Can anyone help me with this again iv followed some recommendations online but i got only as far as cloning the apk without the app data and then installing it on the other device.
