USB / ADB Access? - Moto 360

Some consider adb over bluetooth, but I still believe there are contacts on the watch.
Please look at this picture from the press event:

See the 5 contacts on the circuit board?
The circuit board is clearly on the wrong side because the vibration motor would not fit behind the display. It has to be rotated and the contacts would be on the backside.
Now look at the second plastic slice from the right, you can see the 5 holes on them too.
From the animation of the moto 360 site there is a nice render pic too:
I think you could remove the watchband on the lower side and there would be some contacts in the frontside of the plastic.
Could be you can just see the 5 holes and no metal.
Lets see what ifixit would show us.

Another picture from the leak before the event:
If you zoom in you can guess 5 darker dots at the same spot as on the other pics.

so adb over usb? no access to its filesystem?

Looks like you can access the pogo pins by peeling back the FCC sticker:

So much for our warranties. Taken from iFixit

ADB can be done over Bluetooth but if this does give USB access that would be great for Fastboot. Now all we need is someone to figure out if that is in fact what is going on and then fashion a way to reliably connect to it.

plastic piece covering the hinge between the screen and body missing ??

its come to my attention that there's a plastic piece covering the hinge on the back of the phone ?? is this really the case ?? a user on another forum says that he got back his phone without that covering, while i've never had that piece to begin with. reason i'm asking is because i'm not sure whether not having that covering (if its really supposed to be there) could compromise the durability of the hinge in the long run
would really appreciate it if somebody could post pics of their phone at a similar angle so i could check and compare and maybe use it at the service centre in case they try any funny business.
here's a picture of my phone:

and the other guy's phone. the hinge in question is marked with a red box:
*will post the other picture once i get permission*
I looked at mine and do not see any plastic covering my hinges. I will take a picture and upload it later when I have my camera.
thanks dude.
bump up!!
Here is the photo of my phone. It is a T-Mobile USA Touch Pro 2.
Here is a closer view

HTC disassembled and assembled but not correct...

Hello,
Yesterday I replaced my MB of my HTC so I needed to disassemble the P3300.
After replacing the MB, I reassembled the P3300 but now I see I have forgotten something. Can someone tell me where I must put the plastic? (right on the photo, left is just to show the size of the plastic)...
Thanx

I don't see the part as a replaceable component on page 61 of the manual:
http://mikechannon.net/PDF Manuals/HTC Artemis Service Manual.pdf
That does not prove anything though.
I wonder if it has snapped off the casing somewhere? Any sign of a snapped off edge on the part?
Mike
no nothing, When I removed the backpanel it came out...
It looks a little similar to the piece mentioned here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=474911
(Yes, I know it's a different phone, but it might have a similar purpose/location)
Just a thought
Mike
im guessing you will have put it back together now but it boes at the bottom of the back casing directly opposite from the little vibration module, i think it is a redundant bit of plastic
No no, you have to put this plastic inside to housing on place, where is stylus insertion hole. Without this plastic, when you put stylus to artemis, the tip will be inserted frequently inside the Artemis, not to stylus tube

ok so what part is this and where can i get one?

and not just the front facing cam i mean that entire assembly complete including digitizer, lcd screen and what ever else is in there
Uploaded with ImageShack.us
I take it you cracked yours?
We just call it the "screen". It's the LCD with digitizer pre-fitted. Earpiece speaker and front cam are not included, you'll have to transfer them from the old screen to the new one.
any idea where i can get one? anything i search for i only get lcd screens and digitizers. i bought 2 digitizers for $45 dollars before i realized replacing one was probably above my ability

cool so i found them on that site. only problem is how do i know if i have a wide cable or not. its not to easy to distinguish from the pictures ive found. i have hardware v.0003 and im not opposed to opening up my phone to see but i need to know what to look for.

That I'm not sure about??
bumping this if anyone knows how to determine a small cable from a wide cable
http://www.ifixit.com/Teardown/HTC-Evo-4G-Teardown/2979/1
you have to open it, it's the cable nearest the charging port. if the bottom two are about the same size then you have the big one. hope that helps
edit:
also the smaller ribbon has the connection a little further into the board where as the big one you'll see it right on the edge of the board
ok cool so from what i remember when i did open it i would have the wide one

Has anyone replaced the volume buttons? No guides show this part

This is the only part, the entire ribbon cable connecting the buttons and either the sim or SD card slot(not sure which is which) to the motherboard, that is not shown in any guides I've found on how to replace it.

It looks to me like you might have to fish the whole thing through the opening for the card slot but I just wanted to double check. Anyone?
Never mind. I was right. You gotta peel back the foam tape on back back to reveal the SD card slot, which turns out as you can see connected to another part, some sensor in the front I guess related to the front cam. You gotta carefully pry it upwards as it's glued down. thin razor blade. Idk, at this point I barely know what I'm looking at lol. This phone is the worst to dig into. Get yourself some near sighted glasses or something. Recently learned this phone has the worst score for repair ability. I do confirm this. Good luck if you're planning on replacing anything in here.

I have a very little Slot over my first Headspeaker near the Camera. There is some dirt and i dont know if other has the same Problems.
I got my Phone around 2 Weeks and for that Price that is a shame.

Google Support says its normal.
The gap shown in the picture shouldn't be there.
Best Joke ever: Google Support says its normal.
I agree, that gap should not be there. Not on mine. Call them back, tell them you went to Best buy or a VZ store to compare and you have this big gap that they don't.
You said you just got it, return it to where you bought it so you don't get stuck with a refurbished from Google..... assuming you bought it new.
Reading the chat history in the picture, the employee might think of the speaker cutout. You could try to highlight the gap in some color.
This slot is normal, try gently using a clean soft bristle toothbrush to sweep it out. That's what I do. Works great for the speaker grills and charging port as well!
You are right but this was the Beginning of the Chat. They know now what i mean but says the Photos are not enough and want a Video or more Photos.
