I read a brief comment somewhere that converting a F400L into an F400K is possible. If so, can someone provide a clear step by step of the process?
Im a new owner of an F400L but having major issues with my network here in Manila, Phils. I believe the F400L 3G/4G frequencies don't match the providers we have here.
I also have an F240K that doesnt have any of those issues so im assuming that the K variant frequencies are a better match for our network here.
I hope someone can help me out. Im not an expert but can follow clear steps in flashing.

I recently converted my F180k to E975 stock. When I was using F180k, I don't have any issues with the phones reception in terms of signal, now the problem started when I coverted to E975 a huge difference and I had a very weak signal.
Any help would be appreciate it.

Yeah,leave the phone as it was mented to be. I just don't understand you guys. You buy a phone,then you want to convert it to other phone. Why didn't you bought it in the first place?you want a nexus4,get one,don't convert an e975. Want an e975,buy it,don't convert other phone into it.there are high chances to get into troubles. At least read all infos before converting,see the benefits,the downsides. How can we help you,if we don't have your problem and,most important,we can't replicate it?
Maybe if you flash the f180 modem,things will get better. Look on chad's unofficial cm thread,he has a link for the modem.

Hey dude. We have the same phone model right? I am using F180K converted to E975, but have no network issue as such. Have you tried the baseband? I only have problems with our network(SUN CELLULAR) when it I'm in my office, but in general, all works fine. If you can stick with the F180K ROM(with all the boaltwares, unchangeable clocks in the lockscreen and korean language everywhere), then use it. But for me, I hate too many useless apps and languages I don't understand. So I risked flashing, I also have problems at first, but after too much reading and understanding I have perfected it. Hope you made up your mind,

You need to SIM unlock it. Look in the Sprint G3 General thread, plently of things referring to this. Hope I helped

Thanks. Tried some of the sim unlock methods with varied success here in Tokyo. We only got one CDMA carrier here. Since the hardware is the same I thought I'll just flash the D855 rom and pay the $5 for the sim unlock without wrestling with it much. Would that work or would I end up with a brick?

I'd like to know if this is possible as well, I've not been able to find out much information on if the LS990 actually has the same hardware and thus would be able to use AWS-1 bands after an unlock/flash.
Magixxx : Check my other post on how to nlocl the LS990 for any cdma network. Not sure whether it would work for gsm but maybe worth the try?
I bought a LG G3 here at Brazil (version D855P), but when I flash the European firmware (UK or Germany), it doesn't get the HSPA+ technology, just the HSPA. It's a lower connection velocity, so, I want to know why does that happen.
And how I can solve this problem, because I didn't find anywhere how to flash different modems on the G3, if that was going to solve anything...
I want to do this kind of change because of the carrier customization on the phone, that I managed to get rid off some things, but remains the wallpaper and home page of the browser.

My LG G7 is running Android 10. It shows itself as G710AWM while its IMEI shows it is a T-Mobile device (checked by IMEI.INFO). Now I need to know is my G7 a T-Mobile but has been flashed Canadian ROM, or is it a real Canadian device? And what steps should I do if I want to convert it to Korea ROM?

What about friend, could you solve the problem, I still have a lg g7 of the same model as yours, only that I update it to the Canadian rom and I don't know if the Korean version can now be installed and where I can find it.
