Is anyone else having this problem? I can't find any reference for it anywhere. Using the stock email app on my G3, when I send an email I get this "Sending email" notification and it WON'T GO AWAY. If I send another email, another notification comes up, and so on and so on. The only way I can get rid of these notifications is to either reboot the phone, or turn off notifications in the email app, then turn them back on again. This is VERY frustrating! Please help. Thank you to anyone with a solution.
***Update*** It figures, as soon as I post the question I end up find the answer! (xposed module setting)

Hi Guys -
Quick questio n- sometimes when my phone range is poor and I send an SMS, it fails. No big deal. However it sits in the 'Drafts' SMS folder.
Is there a way i can get the IIs to automatically keep retrying to send the sms? cos what i'm doing at the moment is going in and re-sending it manually!
It's also annoying because i hit send, and leave the PDA, thinking that the sms was sent... and sometimes it hasn't!
I don't know of a solution, but I also wish there were some workaround.
A related problem I've discovered is if you use the NEW menu on the today scrren to send a mesage to a few people. If the sms fails for any reason whatsoever, you do not get any notification until you pen Messaging yourself, and then, you also don't know who did not receive the message..
One of those little annoying bugs..

Hi There,
I was wondering if anyone could help me?
I am running V4 of Duttys ROM having just upgraded from his old one and i STILL cannot make the phone notify me when a new email arrives.
I have been into sound notifications and checked that all the settings are correct but when the phone is in standby i just dont get any sound notification.
I get a notificiation when a SMS arrives but not when an email arrives.
Can anyone suggest what might be wrong please?
Thanks
Trev

Hello. I just bought this phone (Ting/Spring) and installed CM12-20150224 on it. Using the stock Messaging app, I am able to *receive* text messages, but I am unable to send them. More specifically, the send arrow is disabled and does not respond to my tapping. My APN is configured as Ting, and I am able to successfully get LTE where available. Does anyone know what could be wrong, or even what I can do to troubleshoot this?

I've never been able to get an answer about this in another ROM. Apparently, if you get a notification you can send through that but not through the app itself.
I'm on Sprint, and have the same problem.
At random times, I see duplicate text messages coming in (I use Messenger). I haven't figured out any pattern to this, but it is more than a little frustrating. Anyone else seeing something like this?
Not this exactly, but Go SMS will show duplicates my outgoing messages. However I've asked someone I sent them to and they said they didn't get dupes.
Stick to the stock text messaging application, and don't tamper with the network settings if you don't have to. If you flash, make sure you let the ROM boot up once before rooting and such.

here it is 2019 and this is happening to me...uuugggghhhh
I get this as well from time to time on LineageOS when I do a reboot, when OS starts, I get a bunch of notifications of previous messages. I think this has to do with permissions of the stock messaging app. When you install a different messaging app, it is suppose to disable stock notifications. But I got to looking at the stock messaging app settings and you can't disable notifications, that option is greyed out.
Hi all,
I'm brand new to the forum and signed up in the hope that one of you knowledgeable folk would be able to help me with my new Huawei watch.
I use Go SMS Pro as my text message client, and am only receiving a 'new message' notification on my watch screen. It does not vibrate to tell me I've received it (does vibrate for new GMail's) and I am also not able to read the contents of the message, it just gives me the option to open on my phone.
If anyone could point me in the right direction to fix this it would be very very much appreciated...I've spent ages googling it but to no avail.
Thanks so much in advance all!

Ok, so I managed to fix this after a little trial and error. Thought I'd add this to my post in case it could possible help anyone.
Issue was I had message preview set to 'Private' in Go SMS settings, and also vibration set to 'off' (was using Light Flow for custom notifications)
Now I get a vibration and full notification on the watch.
Hope this helps someone!
