The phone is showing black screen after i flashed exitrecovery.zip file since i got stuck into a recovery bootloop and right after when i pressed reboot button in twrp phone died. Have i got the phone hard bricked?? :crying:
What i have tried so far is pressing various keys combination and nothing is happening, tried to get into download mode but right after putting the usb cable connected with pc into phone it gives a notification sound but doesn't shows anything on phone screen :crying:
I also tried to flash the stock rom with lg flash tool 2014 with kdz file but it reaches to a point in the beginning and it gives an error message that the "phone isnt connected pull out the cable and retry" and after pressing retry few times it gets stuck at 60%
Please help, is there a way to get out of this :crying:
When something similar happened to my Galaxy S4, I charged it to 100% first. Then I tried flashing the stock image back to it twice. The first time did not seem as if it completed. Second time was the charm. I know the phones are different but the symptoms are identical.

Hi,
i followed a guide how to move back to the stock ROM on my E975, but the flashing process did not move further from 4%. If I now switch on my phone, it is always stuck in the download mode . I tried to repeat the flashing process with the original LG software upgrade tool, but encountered the same problem. After the third attempt, the tool was not able to flash anymore because the battery of the phone is too low.
If I switch it off and on and connect it to the USB charger, it is still stuck in download mode. And as the led lights are not flashing, I guess it doesnt charge anymore.
Is my phone hard or soft bricked , and is there a way to fix it?
Thanks for your comments!
Master of disaster
The problem is solved now. The phone did charge, and I tried flashing again the stock firmware which did actually complete, although the tool showed it being stuck at 4%.
Hello to everyone, as I m new here so I dnt know whether I m putting it in right forum or not, but really In trouble and looking for help as 2 weeks ago I was trying to install official KDZ (before that I installed 5.1, which was working perfect rather than 1-2 issue so that's why I decided to get KitKat again) through Download mode, while it was on 90%, my LG F180K shut down and never restarted again ( after auto shut down, not started again) now what I got is just Notification LED working ( when I plug it to Charging or Laptop) otherwise nothing, No LG Logo Nothing else :crying::crying::crying: Anyone have an idea, so plz ?
Try press at the same time volume up and down then connect usb to your laptop. That brings your phone to Download mode.
So i was unhappy with my rom so i tried flashing another rom on my lg g4 h815 which didn't work and i didn't seem to be able to install anything with twrp on my phone so i wanted to reinstall twrp which didn't work and now I have no recovery, and no rom on my phone and when i turn it on the lg logo appears and then i have a blackscreen, and then that repeats. the logo only appears for like half a second. when i try holding volume up and power the logo stays a bit longer, though my phone doesn't enter download mode. the LG bridge doesn't seem to recognize my phone even after installing driver, and the lg support tool gives me an error apparently but i can't read what it's saying, the error message is just blank. I'm grateful for any help i can get with this. thanks a lot in advance
