[Q] How to boot into stock recovery? - G Pad 8.3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I accidentally ran into a boot issue by changing the build.prop. Is there a way to boot into stock recovery when device in powered off state to flash the original build.prop? Is it even possible? if Yes, How?
Thanks in advance.

Can somebody help me with the boot issue when I tried to apply the backup file of build.prop? If possible someone can provide me the original build.prop and guide me to flash it with stock recovery since I'm not having any custom recovery installed?

[Q] Stock recovery?

I wanted to fully encrypt my phone but it just resets itself after trying to do it. I did a search and people say it's because phone needs stock recovery to do it. I'm on stock D85510L_00, using AndroidnowHD 1.6 mod. Does anyone have the stock recovery so I can flash it with flashify to encrypt my phone?

HELP! my phone won't boot, no custom recovery!

I tried to flash stock rom for my sgh i747. in the process i flashed the recovery also in hopes that it would make my phone boot. now my phone still doesnt boot, stock recovery doesnt work, and i tried installing philz but that didnt work either. i really need some help here! my phone is on UCUFNJ1.
We will need more detailed info if you don't mind.
What were you on before?
What "stock rom" and what recovery exactly did you flash.
How did you flash?
You said it "still doesn't boot" but we're able to flash it, do you mean it just won't boot android?
Can you boot download mode?
What was wrong that made you need to flash the rom and recovery to make it boot, and how did it get to that point to begin with?

Bootloop hen bootloader is locked, working fine when unlocked

Hi guys,
I have a problem. I have used a custom ROM and wanted to go back to stock. Restored a recovery (with TWRP) and flash stock img. When I reboot my HTC 10 is factory reset and works fine. But when I lock the bootloader the device just bootloops. Does anyone know what I do wrong?

Not sure, but could it be because you still have TWRP installed?

TWRP Issues

Hi all,
I have been trying to flash my Nexus 5X running on Android Oreo. Every time I flash it, boot into system and then go back into recovery it overwrites itself. Anybody ever heard of this?
Thanks.

Yes. Instead of flashing TWRP boot into it with fastboot. Then flash supersu in TWRP. After that boot into the bootloader from TWRP and turn flash TWRP with fastboot.
