Upgraded to NF4 - VoLTE Settings Missing - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 3

Hello,
I recently upgraded to NF4, and I noticed that while Phone Info - Samsung indicates that I'm on NF4, I can't see VoLTE settings anywhere in my Settings Menu.
Here's the Phone Info:

Here's the Settings Menu:
Has anyone else experienced this? Any recommendations for how I can get them to show up?
Thanks in advance!

Odd indeed. Not quite sure what I'm supposed to do to get it displaying...what's weird is Titanium Backup shows VoLTE settings as an item, so clearly it exists somewhere, but I definitely am not getting VoLTE calls even though I have WiFi calling working.

So I did try it, and I get into a very technical looking configuration menu, but I haven't the slightest idea of what I should put there or if it would even work.

Yeah, I don't have that. Not sure if reflashing NF4 would bring it back or not.

I'm on NF4, going to Settings/Device/Call I have the option to use it or not right between rejection and answering/ending.

As I stated in the thread you already mentioned this in, your CSC is missing. Flash the nf4 CSC in the op of the nf4 thread in my Sig.

Thanks. Flashing the CSC did fix the missing VoLTE settings. I did however notice that when I attempt to use WiFi Calling on my home network as well as many other WiFi networks, the status for WiFi calling gets stuck on "Enabling". Has anyone else encountered that?

Try this:
1) power down your device
2) pull out sim card
3) boot device into download mode
4) flash full firmware of same version using desktop odin (unchecked auto reboot)
5) when done flashing, manually reboot into recovery (stock recovery), wipe cache.
6) when finished, power device back off and insert sim.
7) boot normally. Check to ensure volte and wifi calling are working.
8) assuming they are, you can re root and reflash any custom recovery and/or kernel you might have had.
Hope that helps!

Did you flash the gapps from the pa thread? You have to have those for all that stuff to work. Make sure its the PA gapps because they've made some changes to them, somehow.

I'm not sure then, you might have to reflash everything. I don't know what else to try. I've never had that particular issue. Was it a dirty flash over another version? I'd make a backup, do a clean install, and see if the problem is still there. Worst case, if it is still there, you can restore your backup. If not, then maybe the install had a brain fart. Have you tried reflashing PA and gapps and wipe cache and dalvik on this install? (Sorry if I'm rambling, I'm half asleep)
It doesnt look like you are connected to any network at all. Your wifi and signal icons are greyed out. Thats why you are getting that message.

Does it go online with a cellular connection or just wifi? Check Settings>About Phone>Status>IMEI and see what the number is. I don't know why, but that was the first thing I though when I reread this thread is that maybe you've had your EFS partition wiped. I "think" if it's a real IMEI it will start with a 3, but a generic unusable one will start with a 1. I don't know if that would affect Google Connection, but it might.
Also, have you tried redownloading the ROM and GAPPS?
Did you set correct Date & Time settings? Cuz it's important to log in GG account.

Grey means connected, blue is connected to the Google servers. The OP has a connection just not to Google

go to setting ---> data usage ----> look for Media and make sure than "restrict background data" is not checked, as that would not let you download, you would only be able to do so if on wifi network....
That might be the cause of your problem hopefully

WiFi&4glte icons same time?

Alright,I've tried everything. First I downgrade to 2.22.531.6 change my cid to T-Mobile cid and took OTA update. It's still showing WiFi and 4g icons at the same time? Then I try to flash the new RUU that HTC just release 3.32.531.2 and still showing the same thing.I try to reflash 4.4.3 backup and it's fine.
Have you guys have the same problems as I do? Or its HTC fault?
If you don't have this problem, then please go into your /system and copy the entire framework folder, just zip it and upload it.
Thanks
Yeah I have the same problem, I've seen quite alot about this in other threads..
My icons both come on for a while, but then after some time, and wifi calling comes online, 4g LTE goes away.

I can't guarantee this will work as I haven't had a chance to update yet but try disabling or uninstalling t mobile my account app. Previous versions of the app have had the issue of locking in data. Again haven't tested this myself because I haven't updated yet but worth a shot.

I too have been getting it as well, but I've been watching the data transfer little arrows and it just seems the LTE is just sticking around for the fun of it, not actually transferring any data.

Xposed framework download it then in "download" section find sense 6 percentage battery and Sense 6 toolbox. Install it, then go back into Xposed click on "module" click on the box which module you want and restart phone.

Isn't the battery percentage already in the Sense 6 toolbox? I don't think you need to download/install another module for that...
Has anyone found a solution to this problem? I'm considering upgrading from 1.57 but this sounds like an annoying thing to deal with.
Noticed that it goes away when wifi calling is active...

Call logs default to all calls

On certain ROMs when you go into the phone app and select logs, all the phone numbers dialed show up and the tab is set to All Calls. Recently on the last couple of ROMs my dailer has been defaulting to missed calls as seen in the attachment. Anyone know how to change this? Thanks

I'm thinking you also have to do that for the feature.xml in the /system/csc subfolders SPR and/or XAS, correct?
Maybe you already tried this? Let us know what works. I'm lazy; haven't tried Xposed on lollipop yet.

My call logs always default to missed calls after installing exposed, I'm still on KitKat and I read how to fix that issue but like you I was too lazy to even do that lol. yeah KitKat ,but the great thing is my phone will never get the OE1 update which is a real PIA as I have been reading about it. I will fix the missed call log default issue after I flash a lollipop rom sometime in the future, that's if I decide to install exposed again.

IMO, you haven't missed much staying on KitKat. If it weren't for improved Wi-Fi calling on lollipop, I'd be back on KitKat...
Android 5.1.1= lollipop bug fixes zzzzz; I'll wait until there's a tar on Sammobile and someone verifies Odin is not crippled for stock tar downgrading. There should be a user password lock for firmware flash rather than locking out Odin and not releasing a stock tar.
Android M promises more than both KitKat and Lollipop thought about, IMO. Hope it lives up to that expectation without locking out Odin to full tars. Maybe something to not be lazy about?

System Update Gone

When I went to check for the October update I found that the System Update option was missing from the system settings. I side loaded the OTA and it's still not there. Before that I could still find it in the settings search but tapping it didn't take me anywhere, now it's gone completely.
I'm on stock with Magisk 17.2, going core mode only didn't help either. Anyone have an idea how to get it back short of a factory reset?

How did you get System UI Tuner in the menu? Did you use the app in the PS? Can you try to uninstall that? I don't even see advanced in the menu where the update check is. Heck, I'd just do a factory reset at this point if that doesn't work because something is messed up.

I presume you're on stock unrooted Android 9. If so it's time to bite the bullet and do a factory reset. If you're rooted and bl unlocked then I'm not your guy. I haven't bl unlocked for a couple of years now or even rooted my devices. (although that could change if my VZW Pixel 2 can get temp root) So with the various slots and possibility of soft bricking I hope someone else jumps in to help. Good luck.
Oh I just looked back and your rooted and bl unlocked. Sorry, I don't really know how to help. But if it were my device I would flash the October factory image with a full wipe and start all over. But as noted I'm not rooted or unlocked. Just out of curiosity, did you buy the device used?
