[Q] gt-p5200 rom on gt-p5220? - Galaxy Tab 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Sorry if the question has been asked before, but i can't find anything similar on the forum..
I have a gt-p5220 and was wondering if it is possible or even safe to try to put the latest GT-P5200 rom on it?
|EDIT|
Took the risk and tested it for myself. Did not work, just as I thought. Oooh well ..

Device dump

Hi all
This is my first HTC phone, so i am new to this stuff. Anyways i would like to use one of the custom roms created by people, but before i install it i would like to back up both my rom but also my bootloader and radio. So far i used pdocread and downloaded part00.raw - part03.raw. But maybe some one can help me out with the bootloader and the radio.
As far as i can tell if I want to backup the bootloader it can be done using the following: pmemdump.exe 0xa8000000 524288 SPLdumped.nb found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...76&postcount=3.
But I would like to understand what i do and not just do what people write, the numbers used for start and the length where do they come from?
Secondly i haven't found any threads describe how to dump the radio.
Any help is very appreciated.
Best regards
Bump, no one that can help me out?
Best regards
Mads

[Q] How to partition a new SDcard for ARHD 5.1.7 (ext4?)

Hello,
can someone explain me how to partition a (blank) new SDCard (32GB) for Android Revolution HD 5.1.7 and migrate the content of the old card to the new one?
The question is how to handle the new ext4 thing... and how to copy all relevant data to the right partitions without loosing something.
Thanks
Andreas

Hi Andreas,
Please do read the first post in the ARHD thread as well as the last few pages. Everywhere is clearly stated that the SD card isn't touched by the EXT4 formatting and should remain FAT32.
PLEASE READ for that is what a forum is about, and that is how I know the answer to your question....
Regards,
use PM partition SDcard
Thank you for your answer and sorry for my imprudent question.
I have to read that thread more carefully.

3) this is a new script so i am confused.

All information is in the rom's thread. If you do not unterstand something, use the search. If you search for one thing after another, you won't be confused at the end and your questions will be answered.
