[Q] Prevent 'background data restricted' from showing in Hover - Paranoid Android Q&A

When background data is restricted there is a constant notification which keeps causing Hover to trigger. Blacklisting the settings app from Hover doesn't prevent it. Is there any way to stop Hover from showing this notification?

[Q] How to disable "Back ground data restriction" warning

I have disabled background data as my data planis low. But it keeps persistent warning on my notification bar with triangle saying "Background data disabled" tap here to remove.. Is there any way to remove that warning? Its bit annoying whin I have purposfully disabled it.

Does block all notifications disable persistent notifications in the background?

As per the thread title Does block all notifications disable persistent notifications in the background?
Reason for asking is I am trying out forcedoze which needs a persistent notification to prevent it from being killed in the back ground but I do not like persistent notifications.
So if I block all notifications for forcedoze does it kill the persistent notification or merely prevent it from being shown on the pull down menu but it's still there but you cannot see it?
Prevent app doze / hibernation without persistent notification
Same here. I'm trying to have automatic call recorder pro not stop recording calls if i don't use its UI for a few days. One of its settings called "run in the background" - "wait for calls while running in the background" puts a persistent notification, which i have blocked. I hope that this notification blocking will not lead to the app getting automatically hibernated in the future.
-Android Nougat on the OnePlus 3T
If in Nougat, you can disable it and the app still running in background.
If in Oreo, if you disable it, Android own notification message will come out saying the app is still running in background and draining battery. If you have 2 or more apps running in background, it will be better to disable all apps notification and only have 1 Android notification informing about it.

Determine app that causes notifications

There are several notifications that are annoying to say the least.
We have a lot of control to handle app notifications that appear, but this is a system notification it seems, I can't identify what system feature is triggering the alert, then of course disabling it.
Running the Oreo Beta on a fresh install.
One of the notifications is: "blah blah app is using the battery, select for more details..." or something to that affect. It is a Android system notification, but I can't figure out what triggers that one and how to disable it.
Example, Life 360 app running in the background all the time, the alert will randomly show in the notification bar. Just swiping down and looking at it often makes it go away, I don't select it, or I just clear the alerts with the bars at the bottom.
Thanks
Go to Google Play and search for an app called "Hide 'running in the background' Notification" by iboalali.
Awesome. Thanks

Is there a way to set priority/position of app notifications?

Is there a way of prioritising notifications so that a specific app's notifications will always appear at the top of the list?
I have a video doorbell app which I'd always like to access quickly if the doorbell is pressed.

Disable "brief" pop up notifications?!

The brief notification is where you get a small pop up at the top of your screen. How the hell do you do this globally? Some apps like WhatsApp you can do from within the actual app's settings. Others you can turn off priority notifications.. But some apps don't have any valid setting. How can I disable this for all apps. Its such a useless feature for me.
Anyone?
