Did you actually try the toolkit? Just give it a try and if it doesn't work, flash a recovery manually.

Expected hence the inclusion of the words "flash a recovery manually".
Maybe give the stock a try ( http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f485/guide-how-upgrade-your-htc-android-phone-microsd-card-1604799/ ) It'll allow you to enable usb debug mode at the very least...
Owl Recovery is also good...Rename it as mentioned in the thread(scroll down) and it will flash when you switch it on in bootloader mode
Here's the link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2312904

You have not Wildfire S but probably Desire S. Newest hboot for Wildfire S is 1.09.0099 and it is from 2012.
And for future if you wanna test recovery without flashing it you can type:
Code:
fastboot boot <your_image>

Did you try the update yourself? I tried the official update, but it fails because it checks if you have the official recovery image. I have EOS CWM recovery, so it fails.
I thought about editing this script, but am not sure if all works..

Worked for me using EOS (CWM based) Recovery 6 (Touch) running Codename Android 3.1.1.
Thanx.
Just a quick question here, I am running 05p radio and my tablet seems fine with it. What would be the benefit of upgrading ? Thx
C'mon... You're not downgrade, there would be no reason to increase just numbers from Motorola so don't worry about...I even had 05 and upgraded to 07... Still have to taste all of its better work Btw I lost my 3G Internet connection LOL that's not 07P issue... Still had this problem after flashing EOS Everest 104

Now we need to modify the file bootl.img or bootloader.img to remove it. But I cannot edit file .img in my computer. Anyone can help me?

1. Yes.
2. Yes.
3. It's an interactive installer script for recovery. Instead of having a zip to flash as-is, devs can now provide a lot of options to customize their ROM zips while flashing in recovery itself.

Yakju 4.3 OTA link

My wife's phone got the OTA update. It already downloaded so I just had the file name, showing it is in cache:

Thank you!
Have you problem with the new SuperSU?
I have read this: "Be careful with that version of SuperSU. It is not yet stable (on the N4 at least). There is an issue where for some reason (and we haven't figured it out yet), you lose root, and the daemonsu process starts eating up ~70%+ of your CPU time. Battery dies pretty quick. "

could you make a small guide with the steps you followed for flashing?
I assume that with this method you don't lose any of the personal data. right?
@aryan79
I've flashed 20 minutes ago, until now It's working fine, I will post if some problems occur
@sakis_the_fraud
I've had already CWM installed, I'm assuming you also have it:
1.- boot into CWM
2.- backup
3.- flash OTA zip
4.- flash superSU
5.- Reboot system
That's all
Regards
Thank you

Hello there!
I have a galaxy nexus stock 4.2.2 with no root and stock android recovery. Is there a way to flash this zip thru standard recovery? I don't want to mess up things so I'm asking before trying... Tks!

I just did this myself - stock 4.2.2 and stock bootloader.
Adb sideload worked fine and I didn't lose any data.
Only strange thing was my live wallpaper was uninstalled, but everything else seems ok, and I just reinstalled the wallpaper from the Play store.
I don't see "yakju" mentioned in the software build details anymore like other releases???

It is, you just don't know how to interact with it
Hold power and tap vol+ and the menu will appear.
