I've found that the ROMs that use the most similar software to the ROM that comes with the phone works best. Most of the others crash a lot or are buggy.

Roms come in all "different shapes and sizes". The best in performance/stability/features/etc is all contingent upon the end user and their device as even their device varies also in the type of boards/wafers used in them. Try roms out for yourself to find what best suits your needs
This thread will be closed as it goes against site policy regarding "best roms".

Your better off with a modified version of 4.0.4, it will be faster, have more features and just generally better, browse the One X development thread and see what's there, there is an android 4.1.0 Rom I do believe
I run the HTC Sensation ViperS Rom, theres one for the One X too, Its really fast, extremely customizable but will also look just like the stock Rom with few enhancements, check it out
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1745176
Thanks OllieArmageddon for the advice
but I want to return to factory stock is there an easy way for newbie

Don't know why you want to return to stock while frankly stock has issues the custom roms address. Android revolution hd and viperx are based on the new base leaked HTC base 2.05 which increases battery life and tackles over heating issue. And other study. try them out.
After that if you want to return to stock. Flash the correct ruu for the hox available from the market

If the flashing of the custom rom was done perfectly they would have made a backup of the stock rom before flashing the custom rom.
Boot into recovery or use a file manager to see in cwm backups

stock sense, if you don't want bugs. every other roms have bugs. even stock has bugs... you use what you like
You can use a sense based rom like myonev. If you find it to be slow you can desense it afterwards.
best rom threads are prohibited on xda.. anyways its a never ending argument and depends upon personal choices
Sent from my One V
I agree with paarth desai. I have tried cm 9, cm 10, miui and myone v. Stock based roms are very slow and cm based roms are faster. jb roms are much better than ics. You have to try them yourself to find out.

I suppose you are looking for a 4.0.4, or a 4.1 ROM?
Look here for a list of ROMS: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=809328
Also are you CDMA, or GSM...
There isn't a whole lot of ROMS for CDMA, you just have to look.

If you're looking for version 4.0.3, IGNORANCE
For V 4.1.2, CM 10
For V 4.2.2, POmega Sphongle
For V 4.4, personally havent tried any as those ROM's are still under development and are unstable to be used as a daily driver.
Have fun flashing them
Yeah just navigating over ROM section of this forum seems half of them are discontinued or some feature maybe broken, Kitkat would be good, but also i am looking for a ROM which will be stable and can be use on daily purpose!
Looking forward to hear more from you guys.

Thank you so much, i am planning to flash cyanogenmod on my htc one v but cannot find any flashing guide. can you help me to take nandroid backup and installing CM10 on my HTC one v?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1996665
This is the best guide for your One V... Read carefully to follow each instruction... You'll get it all here... !!
Here you may find the list of OneV ROMs:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2413580
It's a bit old and some new ROMs (like 2 kitkat versions by rastomanchik) may not be included, but most of them are there. Unfortunately development of almost every OneV ROM is discontinued. Even those been suggested earlier. As I know only kitkat versions have been updated in a several last months.
Of course you may try any ROM with newer android versions (they might have more functionality and may look better), but if a stability is the key factor, you have to choose one of sense versions: 4.0.3 - Ignorance v.5; 4.0.4 - myOneV, mySenseV, HTCdroid, etc.
And always remember one of the community rules - there is no best ROM, everybody should choose ROM by his own demands and usage habits. Read OPs carefully, try as many ROMs as possible then choose.

Did you read the ROM thread? It says you need to go into cell settings and select GSM/WCMA/LTE and reboot.

Very true. Reading the top post, as well as (at a minimum) the most recent few pages of the ROM thread should be considered mandatory before flashing any ROM, and also when encountering an issue (and before posting a thread for a question that has already been answered).
Thank you brothers i am okey now...
