I have a tab 3 T210R galaxy, recently I've noticed that since I installed a custom rom, ir-baster does not work, so I have read is a problem on all things rom I have installed, but I've tried other and just does not work, anyone knows any permitting operation correctly.
What custom ROM are you using? If it's a 4.1.2 ROM, then flash blackhawk kernel.

Rigth now, i have:
Kernel: 3.4.5-Blackhawk
Rom: 4.2.2_Neon_v4_Beta4
Okay, sorry I've never stuck with any of the 4.2.2 Roms. They had too much lag for me.

Try SnelteNole or Rockettab lite3.1 with Blackhawk Kernel v2.1 ,only Blackhawk Kernel support IR Blaster.

New Stock or Custom Rom?
I experienced once when I installed custom roms there was a lot of "new" apps.
After I installed back stock rom for example the Firefox was hidden.
It wrote my phone isn't compatible. Howver I don't know why it was with the custom roms.
This is only a guess on my part, may not be true.

Hey guys,
Lately I realized that I have Insane Chip.
No matter what Rom or Kernel I flash into the hardware I just can't seem to get rid of the SDS.
I've tried Perseus Kernel [Which later I found that it's for stock roms only].
I've tried Devil Kernel, N.E.A.K Kernel without any success.
Currently I'm using ParanoidAndroid 3.99 and it's great, but the SDSs killing me.
What's the solution? btw I rather have something fast because I get to the house only on weekends and the Note 2 is all I have while I'm outside the house.

You cant get rid of the insane chip its hardware , the only way to get the sane chip is to swich the motherboard, you should be safe on latest stock roms but the emmc brickbug app will alway show insane chip even if you have a safe rom and kernel. So using latest stock 4.1.2 roms whit stock kernels should be safe but I dont know if its 100% because samsung doesn't publish change logs whit there updates.

Probably because there is no reason for samsung to remove the fix in the newer firmware.

You should be safe on any kernel that has SDS fix in it (they state that in the features list of the kernel) , you can flash custom roms or 4.3 stock leak .

this should not happen
i have tried carbon on my grand and everything was quiet ok even scrolling was nice
you may are running many unwanted crappy apps in background which cause such problems
try to wipe cache in recovery and see if everything is fine or not

Hi
I have problem with my I927R accelerometer after flashing cm-11-20140702-UNOFFICIAL-i927. not my phone accelerometer not work
before flashing i did this work:
1. factory reset and wipe
2. flashing stuck ROM I927RUXKJ5_I927RUXKJ5_I927RRWCKJ5_HOME.tar.md5
3. again wipe
i do the Instructions of this topic but fail : accelerometer miscalibration
i don't have any file named "calibration_data" in my efs folder
and i must say with original ROM "android v2.3.5" everything work perfectly but i just have problem with Higher versions of android.
Flash a gingerbread Rom (I recommend osirom) and calibrate the accelerometer in the menu settings...sorry for my English...
