IRC Channel for Xperia S: #nozomi on freenode.net
Long story short, an IRC Channel is a perfect way for instant communication.
I used one frequently when I developed GingerDX for the Xperia X8, it' much better than such a cluttered thread, the OpenSEMC thread.
I invite everyone interested in the Xperia S to visit.
Just use this link to the webchat: http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=nozomi
Or use an IRC Client and log in to #nozomi on freenode.net
any activity on the channel
Im consederin to start porting Chameleon os but i need lots of help and guidance

IRC is a great way to get help or clarification quickly, and have a laugh in the process
There are a few IRC channels related to the Desire and ROMs:
#teamdesire - General stuff and dev for the Desire, some Desire devs are also here
#rootmydroid - A Channel dedicated to getting noobs rooted, ask all your questions here!
#cyanogenmod - Get help with the cyanogenmod rom here, do not talk about ROMs based on CM here or you'll get crucified
#villainrom - Get help with VillainROM (Just watch out for Ninpo! )
You can join these channels in your IRC client with the address chat.freenode.net
Or you can click here and type in the channel you wish to join
If you can spare some time on these channels to help out the n00bs then it's always really helpful.
If you know any more channels please post here and I'll add them.
Thanks for the list!
I am also on #miui but that is specific for the miui rom more than for the desire.
people should use mIrc more often, it is so convenient and versatile
I am looking to see if anyone knows of a active channel on Freenode.net for the Galaxy S II phones. I have found the one for the Epic Touch 4g. But it does not deal with anything with our T-Mobile phone. As ours is GSM and theres is CDMA.
Right now I am active in #sdx.developers, But this is geared to Sprint Devices. If there is none setup I will be more then happy to set one up and start helping others with rooting, flashing roms and development issues.
My First Suggestion for a channel name would be #SGS2-TMO.
Or #SGS2-GSM.
OK got the channel registered and up and running. Join me on #sgs2-tmo on freenode.net
New IRC channel
OK since I could not find a current channel available on freenode.net, I have started one for us.
Come join us in the new channel #sgs2-tmo Everyone is welcomed.
Hey everyone. I wasn't able to find an irc channel for the galaxy note, so I decided to make one.
I'm going to post this in all of the Galaxy Note 2 sub forums because all our devices are rocking the same hardware more or less so it'll be a nice place for devs to collaborate and for users to do whatever users do.
If you have an IRC client
Just connect to freenode.net, then #galaxy-note-2
If you do NOT have an IRC client
Here's the web interface for webchat on freenode: http://webchat.freenode.net/
Click the link, put in a username, then #galaxy-note-2 in the "Channels" box, fill out the captcha and go.
Hope to see people in there this phone is amazing.
Come in and ask questions, and hope for a quick response. And meet fellow T889 users!

You have to register before talking in the channel.
You guys DO know there's a #galaxy-note-2 on the same server, right? Freenode.
Is there a dedicated IRC channel for this device so we can collaborate on development?
Thanks.
