IS there people who have viperonem8 rom? What about battery life and stability. Is it better then stock rom?
And please don't create threads for every little question you come up with ! Just use your existing thread ! Pick one yourself and test and try ! We can't decide and these threads will be closed....comparing roms and phones are not allowed on xda except for a dedicated already created thread.

Rom comparison threads are against forum rules. Best thing to do is to try them out for yourself and see which you think is best.

Pretty much everything but ICS and JB and MIUI. Take a look in the developers section, there are many in there that tell you what works etc......
Hmm... You need to read the Q&A up to the third or so page. This question of yours has been asked multiple times and people keep flooding the forum with the same questions.
Do research before you ask questions, because its there. Click the top right (search) bar and search all forums. Simple.
I will tell you what I tell every single person on which Rom is the best for the Evo4G.
The most minimalistic and simplicity would be KushDecks GINGERBREAD (2.3.7)
Was my most favorite GB Rom available for the OG EVO 4G. Everything works.

There is no 'best ROM' ... this thread will get closed shortly. All it does it make devs jealous and makes people argue.
Closed, there is no such thing as a "best" rom, try them and find out for yourself.

Um...yes, they have been stable since May. Do everyone a favor and read the forum. Every feature you could ever want is available.
XDA is a development site not a support site. As such members are expected to do the research, read through the development threads and decide what is BEST for them. The only results that would be posted here are what each member has found to be BEST for them by experimentation based on their phone/usage/setup/apps/signal strength. Please take the time to read through those development threads to learn all about the software you are about to drastically alter your very expensive device with.

Ok... New here and think this place obviously rocks. So I have been reading non-stop or Roms/Kernals/radios blah etc etc... Honestly it's a bit overwhelming and I'm curious as to what is the most stable.. It dont matter if it's JB or KK. I'm just looking for something to start with.. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!
Start with the development section. There are rules against threads like these.

Its not that overwhelming. Everything is laid out for you in the threads. There are "sticky" threads showing you how to root and flash stuff if you need help. And every first post in a ROM thread has a description of what works and what doesnt. Even though all ROMs are pretty stable. All this thread is going to do is give you a million different answers to your question.

Please test these things for yourself.
This is the only way you will get an unbiased opinion,and then, you can decide for yourself if it meets YOUR needs.

Just curious what people are using as a daily driver on there m8? Been running stock since I got the phone and am looking for something stable to change to.
Try some yourself and decide which one serves your personal needs the best. We can not decide and judge what rom is the best daily driver for you. Pick & try....
