First You Need To Root Your Phone & Then You Need To Install CWM Recovery To You Phone & From CWM Recovery You Can Install New ROMs :sly:

I forgot to ask anyway answer is here thanks !
I am about to flash the ROM provided in this post : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2259071 , but I have some questions.
1- Where should I place the ZIP file, internal storage or SD Card ?
2- Can I use Clockworkmod Recovery V6.0.1.2, coz that's what I have ?
3- Should I remove the SD Card while Flashing the ROM ?
4- If I successfully installed the ROM, I don't want the Transparent Playstore, Can I get the Normal one ?
1) you like, on cwm you can choose from internel or externel SD
2) yes you can, as long as its cwm recovery
3) why you want to do that? If you place your rom on internel sd then yes, you can.
4) by flashing the original one, you can find it by Google
Thanks

Hey guys , seeking help from the pros here.
I tried to install a new rom yesterday and mistakenly hit the format SD option instead of format System to clean phone before installing a new Rom. Now my problem is my internal memory has no files now, when going in cwm and trying to install rom from internal memory it says there are no files.
So i was wondering if anyone knows a way i can flash files back into the phone, i tried Odin and some of the flash stock rom guides here but i boot loop and it removed my cwm, so when i go into recovery i actually go into androids stock recovery mode. I have tried to flash cwm again and that seems to work but still no files in the phone. Help.

You should be able to mount sd card from recovery. Choose that option in advanced. I use twrp now and it's a bit easier to use than com. Once you mount the sd card find it on your computer move the rom zip there. Now unmount the sd and flash away.

Twrp seems easier to use and it has big buttons with the touch screen.
If you have an external sd put the rom on it from your pc. Then select external sd from twrp by touching it where it says internal and select external. Now flash a custom rom.

I have rooted sgh-t999 stock ROM 4.3. When I take backup in CWM recovery its completed and showing in recovery mode.
How can I download the backed up ROM into my windows PC or on cloud.
All applications required root are working fine. I have CWM version 6.0.4.5, Rom Manager v5.5.3.7.
Rom Manager unable to show backed up ROM even after upgraded to premium.
It should be on a folder called CWM or clockworkmod either on your internal or external SD

CWM Recovery mode also tells me the same folder clockworkmod/backup, but I cant find this backup folder in internal or external SD.
As it is mentioned on their site that TWRP 2.8.1.1 supports install from external SD card but on my Xiaomi Redmi 1s I am unable to do that. external memory card is not read in Recovery mode.
At first u need to root your device then push CWM recovery to it coz stock recovery gives md5 error if tried to flash TWRP. After booting to CWM, select TWRP file from recovery and flash it.
