Update failuire (signature) galaxy ace 2

I have the Galaxy ace 2 i8160 , I posted in the forum there but i figured that it isnt a very popular phone , which i dont know why, but i hope others can help as it should be roughly the same across other phones
I was looking to install the jellycream rom after waiting a long time. I got this phone as soon as it was released, and upgraded from my more up to date (rom wise) lg optimus.
Now this may seem nooby, but since i last did it i cannot figure it out again. How do i flash the custom rom, as i have the rom, patches and 2 different kernels on my sd card and keep getting the same error when trying to flash.
I get a signature verification failiure error
i cannot figure out how to fix it as ive tried various methods
thanks for any replies, it would be very helpful

[Q] Cellular One GT-N7100 Unlock for Verizon use.

Hello. I am very new to this all but I did watch the noob video and I have done over two days of searching on this forum to find the answer I seek. I come very close to getting what I want but then I get terribly lost in the jargon and lingo that is associated with this forum. I want to take a N7100 from Cellular One and unlock it to use a Verizon Sim card in it. The phone is currently using Jelly Bean 4.1.2 and the broadband version is N7100UBDMA1.
Now before I get the same reply that there is an unlock for this phone that requires 4.1.1 and that I am a noob. I want to say I have flashed my phone back to Jelly Bean 4.1.1 and the menu that I needed still did not show. I do not mind reading or typing replies to this post, however if you would be interested in using teamspeak 3 to help me I have a server and would be willing to give the info. Thank you for reading this and please be helpful when replying.

T-Mo galaxy s3 LTE (sgh-t999L) root questions

Hey guys, before I begin, I've attempted to search the forums & I've been unable to find an adequate answer, so if there is an answer out there to my question & I missed it, my bad.
My question is thus. I have a Galaxy S3 LTE, model sgh-t99L T-Mobile branded & I'm considering rooting & installing a custom rom. I have done this previously with a HTC Sensation 4g successfully & I'm comfortable with the procedure. However, I've been unable to find any information on if it is possible to root the T-Mo S3 LTE model, if there is a way to restore the device to stock after rooting it, and the necessary tools to do so.
I'm happy with my device as is, but I like to tweak things, so I'd like to at least know if its possible to root my device & if anyone would be able to point me in the right direction.
*Note at the time of posting this, the search feature was "unavailable"*
Thank you guys for your assistance
Sean
Ok, first thing you need to know is this is a question, and as such should be asked in Q&A. Also if you were to look in Q&A you would find a dedicated thread for the T999L that is almost always on the first page. And if you read the stickies you would find a link to it in the roll-up thread.
Not lecturing, just helping so you know for the future. Also, when xda search is down, you can Google "xda T999L info" or similar and it should show up.
Your questions are already answered in that thread btw. Link is also in my Sig.

Thank you for the insight & pointing me in the right direction.

Looking for latest stock/rooted ROM.

Sorry for the noob post but I'm quickly trying to get my Fiance's brother's phone up and running after he decided to give himself a crash course in rooting/flashing and failed. I dug around the Android Development forum but can't figure out what the latest stock/rooted ROM is. Can someone please link me?

[Q] Quick one - Does MK3 have Knox?

Hi all...
Trying to find definitive answer, and new to S3s. I have cobbled together an L710 from parts, and now want to install CM10 or CM12. I originally started the project with an i535 from Verizon, and got one with a version that was "knoxed", so could not go to CM.
Is MK3 knoxed? if it is, can I assume (like on the i535) that tryng to install another bootloader will trip and brick?
I have done some searching, but don't see a similar thread that has big warning about Knox, like on the Verizon forum. If anyone knows where that is, please do point me, so I can RTFM.
Thanks in advance...Eric
OK...been reading through the noob thread, and if I am reading correctly, even though 4.3 and later are knox'd, it does matter, since it can be disabled.
Big difference than the SCH-I535 Verizon model, huh?
Am I reading correctly?
Eric
