Okay, I have a Tab 3, SM-t217s. I've rooted other phones successfully. I broke my Wi-Fi somehow after rooting.
I have flashed stock, reflashed the recovery, formatted all partitions (including carrier, w/o a backup). Is there a fix? I have read about reflashing the tab's modem??? I have no idea where to get that file.
Please help!
Used ODIN 3.07
Flashed CWM recovery then Remedy Rom 1.3 was flashed and android-armeabi-universal-root-signed.zip
Also, anyone have the other partitions to download? I.E. Carrier, etc?

Just got a brand new N7100 today. Do my usual thing as with all my phones, flash CWM, root, flash custom rom (Omega v8.0). Changed kernel to Note2Core (OC, NOT EXTREME VERSION WITHOUT FSYNC), was running for a bit then it rebooted itself.
After reboot, phone won't run, so I go to do a full system wipe. Except now I can't wipe /data. Tried 3 different CWMs including TWRP (TWRP doesn't even start, just shows load screen then reboots).
Flashed stock ROM with ODIN including .PIT but the /data isn't being cleared, I can't clear it in any way. Only way to get the phone working now is stock ROM through ODIN but it boots up with a bunch of messed up stuff and I can't factory reset.
I have tried scanning for EMMC Brickbug but there are no errors. This one has got me stumped, I know my way around recoveries and android etc. but can't for the life of me figure out what I can do to fix this.
Don't really want to send in for warranty as I probably have a flashcounter (I will try to flash a rooted ROM through ODIN and triangleaway..)
Hoping since there's no EMMC brickbug triggered from the scans, that there's some way to fix this. I thought flashing PIT would wipe the /data partition but obviously not.
Any ideas? Would be most appreciated.
Thanks
I'm having the exact same issue on my N7105. It was working fine for days after flashing, then all of a sudden it rebooted and all user apps were gone. When I tried to reinstall from TB, I got an error on each app that it had stopped working.
I tried to reflash the ROM with full wipe, but CWM restarts when it tries to wipe /data.
I'm using this ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1985200 with Note2Core v2.10.
there is probably an issue with the internal sd card(hardware part).
or maybe you have done something wrong.
try using adb to format it.
I was finally able to format the /data folder by doing a factory reset, now it works in CWM and flashing a ROM doesn't fail when choosing the full wipe installation.
I'm not sure what the problem was. A faulty internal SD card would still be having this problem and incorrect flash method would show problems straight away, not 5 days later, right?
Hi guys,
I have the same issue, anything related to the partition /data is causing me troubles since I first tried to wipe it when I wanted to install CM9.1. (and I had stock ICS 4.0.4 at the time...)
Do you think it is the mmc bug ?
I can enter DL mode but when I try to flash stock rom, it just remains at the animated boot logo for hours...
Tried also to flash rom (with CODE, MODEM, CSC) and Odin stays stuck when starting DATA...
Any luck on your side ?
Wtf this is n7100 thread and forum. How can you get 4.0.x on it

i think u guys just hardbricked ur n7100..maybe try to go samsung centre..can try ask for warranty
I apologize if this has been answered before, but I have looked through the threads for 2 days and haven't found an answer.
I come from an Evo 4G and Evo LTE background.
I received my Note 2 on Friday. I rooted it and installed TWRP using the toolkit without a problem. Used Titanium Backup to confirm root. I booted into recovery and created a stock nandroid. All seemed great.
Then I downloaded the LJC to LK8 firmware upgrade zip and attempted to flash in recover. TWRP said everything went fine. However, I rebooted and was still on LJC. I then downloaded the Synergy (LJC) Rom since I was still on the LJC firmware. I confirmed the MD5 and attempted to flash through TWRP. Again TWRP showed that the rom successfully flashed, but when I rebooted, I was still on my stock rom, only this time I had to run through the setup again because I had wiped the system.
I reinstalled TWRP just to see if that would help, but nope, same problem.
Does anyone have any thoughts as to why zips aren't flashing through TWRP?
Thanks in advance.
I am having a trouble with recovery and mounting. As seen in the images below. I am able to flash roms, as I can flash the stock 4.2.2 rooted deodexed rom and Civs flexbeam 4.2.2 2.2rev.
However, I cannot flash anything via Odin, and the note 8 toolkit will recognize everything, but it uses odin to flash
I also cannot do any sort of system wipe, from recovery or from system settings.
Can anyone suggest an option, please?
Well, I was able to fix the issue.
I used Mobile Odin, and used it to wipe everything, and then to reflash a recovery. It worked out pretty well. Especially, where everything else failed.
Hello I am mostly noob in regards of rom flashing. I have successfully flashed cyanogenmod 10 after rooting my i317. however i decided to revert back today and used clockwork recovery to flash rooted stock rom:
Stock_Rooted_JB_4.1.2_SGH-i317M_(t0ltecan)_signed
continually rebooting.
After that, ever since it has been continually rebooting.
used clockwork to flash back cyanogenmod it still reboots just after finished loading.
tried odin 307 following:
I317-ODIN-UCUBMK6-rooted
Also reboting.
Not sure what went wrong. I also cleaned all the caches disk data etc., no avail.
I think flashing Stock_Rooted_JB_4.1.2_SGH-i317M_(t0ltecan)_signed did something wrong to the phone. Is there help avialable regarding this?
For now at least I can get to odin or clockwok using the phone shortcut. Thanks!!!
Do you have an i317 or 317m ? After using ODIN did you do a factory reset using stock recovery

I had the same issue. Had to go to samobile.com and download the stock firmware from there and flash it via desktop Odin 3.07. Then from there when I was back on the stock firmware I then flashed a recovery and then rooted it
Bought brand new AT&T Note 2 on eBay from verified good seller in the US. Phone was on 4.4.2 unfortunately....so I just decided to try a VR Toxin rom, phone just boot looped, no matter what I tried. With and without modified kernel. Then I went back to stock NJ2, flashed TWRP via Odin, rooted using CF-Auto Root....Then restarted...booted up fine...except for UNKNOWN IMEI/BASEBAND ERROR. I googled the fixes for it...none work. Basically, as soon as I flash ANY non-stock recovery (CWM, TWRP) I get a corrupted IMEI/BASEBAND. I'm wondering if I got a bad phone? Or, is there an issue with some corrupt file/part of my phone? Is there an ODIN file that could COMPLETELY flash this back to EXACTLY stock? I've Odin'ed this and tried different methods about six times...only to get the same error every time. Even after restoring the backed up EFS info.
ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED!
