I need help with the Pen Window, it's transparent. Any way to get it back to original background? I'm not sure which file I messed with. Thanks.
Please delete forum, I have resolved my issue. Thanks.
How about you tell people what you did in case others have the same problem?

Hello,
I just updated to JB and was able to remove all bloat except the mobile hotspot app.
Does anybody know the name of the .apk that needs removing?
Thank you in advance.

Use this application: "Root-App uninstaller" from Google Play and click on SYS App and you will see it there, first disable it and then click RECYCLE and then click the app again to uninstall it. Hit thanks please!
So I get this icon that shows my CPU usage and battery that appeared randomly on my notification bar. I'm not sure how it got there but I'm quite used to it now and like the looks of it. Does anyone know how to enable or disable it just incase it goes away on it's own? Or should I be aware of it because it can be a harmful third party app?

Can you post a larger screenshot of your phone? I can not make it out. Also, are you rooted and running any Xposed modules?

It's actually getting on my nerves now and I want it off and I don't know how, I restarted my phones a few times and it's still there.

Are you using any 3rd party app that monitor your cpu status ect.? I know when I used "Quick System Info" app I had the option to shows those info on my status bar.
Does it also show in the drop down panel? If it does long press on it and chose "App info".

Open your notifications and tap and hold the notification then click app info.
Nothing shows when I drag the notification bar but the same thing it does now. It covers my icons under it and if I were to be on Youtube watching a video on fullscreen it still shows. I haven't installed anything in about a week either. I don't want to take it to T-Mobile and ask since my phones rooted also

Start over. Flash back to stock. Then start adding your stuff back 1thing at a time.

Can you provide a list of apps that you have installed? It would help narrow down which programs have the permission to draw overlays and that would likely reveal the culprit. Also, have you tried disabling the Xposed framework to make sure it's not one of the modules you installed (doubt it, but worth the trouble)?

A bit drastic if I say so. :silly:
Looks like Cool Tool

You've installed something recently or changed an app's settings recently. That is an output from a monitoring app. CPU, GPU, or something of that sort.
You need to check that app(s) and uncheck whatever seems to point to showing it.

Agreed! It's definitely an app since it's always visible. It's creating a window on top of everything.

Hello - can anyone help me successfully remove Qslide from my rooted, stock LG Optimus G Pro, ATT E980?
I have seen two articles for this, both flashable zips give me an error saying that it can not "map" it, and the other was a status7.
I would really appreciate any help here, alternative methods, etc.
*hell, I may even throw you 5-10 bucks just for the help.
Thanks in advance

After I flash, I get that error that says unable to map...and then I am in a bootloop and my phone will not start.
*I used CWM to flash - is this wrong??
Thank you anyway.
Any other methods? OR maybe someone experienced this and can offer a solution?
Are you on the latest update?

Yes - I am on 10p, is this my issue?
It might be. I haven't been able to update, so I can't be sure. How did you put CWM on the phone?

- Decompile LGSystemUI.apk
- Find LGSystemUI/res/value/bools.xml
- Look for "floating_launcher" & change "true" to "false"
- Recompile & done
I decompiled LGSystemUI.apk and went to the bools.xml.. --- Searched for 'floating_launcher' and it didn't return anything.
