This is a development section, you you need to post your questions in the Q & A section. Also, if you do a search you will find what your looking for.

Why not just use the kdz version? the latest SEA is v10i...

can u see a comm device in device manager? If not, then tot file will not work for you...

Basically the TOT file is in the zip file when you extract it. I was confused by this too as I had never needed to extract a ROM's zip in order to flash it.

if KDZ and Tot will not work, how else to fix bootloop in G3 if comp does not recognize the device

I searched the forum, but I don't know what exactly I have to search... Here 's the thing: A friend got a new LG G3 from his carrier (Brazil - Vivo), by points program. This G3 is carrier's customized, with apps and crap stuff, but this it's not the problem. The problem is that the updates depends of the carrier to build them. So, my question is: there is a way to replace the carrier's firmware and put a retail one on it? Not a custom ROM, the retail.
You can flash KDZ files on any compatible phone. Make sure you're getting the right KDZ file for your phone (16gb/23gb and model number). You can find kdz files by looking through the forums and Google.
Also, this post should be in the Q&A and not in here.

My DropBox links got taken down because there was too much traffic hitting it- odd as no one said THANKS :/ thats the world today I guess!
I will try to re-ad them after work and post another link - as for flashing it, you have to that yourself, unless you are going to send it to my house but then I will charge you for my time obviously

Actually I 've got them now, & it's all done. Thanks v much for the assist though. It was easier than I thought, just a question of finding all the files as they are never in one place.

Well, TWRP files are .img and not .iso. Now let me tell you that if you have any kind of suggestions or answers about LG G3 you should ask them in the thread I will link you above. So please, for future times, create threads where I will move this one now.

Hi, I'm lookin for the same thing, unfortunately I haven't found any yet, as well as any ROM for that device. I believe lg g3 STYLUS were only for sale in Mexico and India, model number is LG D693N. Hope you guys can help us or let us know if theres any similar .IMG recovery or ROM for our device.

Do any of your carriers offer a mac or pc upgrade? If so you can pull the firmware from it's hidden folder

I tried this using my LG LS993ZVA using LGUP & Uppercut to no avail. Wrong KDZ message. ?????However thank you all the same.

You should try this method https://forum.xda-developers.com/att-g6/how-to/convert-upgrade-att-g6-to-h873-oreo-t3791848, and dont use uppercut. Use the patched dll provided in thread and please let me know if you did it.
