I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 (non-3G) and I'm wanting to set up Kali Linux on it. Anyone know how to or if the process for the Galaxy Note 10.1 will work? If you need more information, please, ask.

Hello guys. Im totally new and I will like to ask a few questions. Pls be patient with me and forgive me if i ask something really stupid.
I have successfully rooted my phone, installed CWM, backed up my current rom.
Im looking to download Paranoid Android rom and flash it onto my Samsung Galaxy Note II (LTE) N-7105.
However, from this website, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1970335, the rom is only for N-7100.
May I check whether, the CustomROM for N-7100 can be used on my Samsung Galaxy Note II (LTE) N-7105???

ok kali linux has made a version for the samsung note 10.1" tablet is there any way of porting it for the samsung tab 3 8.0

Of course there is a way, but there is no simple way because the CPUs and other hardware are completely different. Its the equivalent to porting a full ROM from one device to a different, non-similar device so you should look around for the guides to that process. For me, I don't see the point in expending the effort., but maybe you have a need.

So according to this thread magisk can't be used to root Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 SM-T210, but isn't there even any ported version for older devices?
