[Q] Can I delete odexed framework-res.apk and replace it with deodexed framework-res?

I want to go back to stock odexed DI18 in order to use MobileAP.But I want to use my personal theme,can I just delete framework-res.apk and framework-res.odex and replace them with deodexed framework-res.apk?Or there is more to it?

Is ur theme in a zip flashable in clockwork, if so u can follow my tutorial on how to flash themes on stock roms for mobile AP in my signature, just click the link..

Wrong Section! This is a Thread for the Q&A SubForum!
But to see if you're deodexed go with rootexplorer to /system/framework and look if there are .odex files! If they are there, you are ODEXED if not you are DEODEXED!
Or better before install a ROM read the details of the ROM and you normally should know if is is deodexed or not..

if root explorer is installed then go to
system/app and
system/framework
if there are any *.odex files
then your firmware is not deodex
and if there are not odex files
then firmware is deodex.

How i can create a update.zip?

Hi,
i woult create an update.zip file for our play
it have to includes the original STOCK THEME - Stock Framework.apk and Stock systemUI.apk from 2.3.4 .42 Firmware!
Can anyone tell me (Dev) how i create it that i can flash it via cwm?

A deodexed rom isnt that different........it is better that it's odexed

If someone have it installed in his device and can make a backup and send it to me.. also will be most appreciated.

I used a tool from http://d-h.st/Oae
but for ics rom. maybe it will work for gb
in case you get errors, download latest smali/baksmali and rename it
(i'll attach it, i've done it for myself already)

i cant deodex most of the apps and some of the framworks with this tool
