What about recovery and counter and custom rom. Kernel and recovery aren't tied as in s2 man.

When senior member already correcting you, why are you misleading.
This is not note1 and only flashing stock kernel won't unroot.

You MUST be sure that the ROM you are flashing does not contain a bootloader.

If you never did the 4.3 official update then you can just Odin to 4.1.1, or if you have custom recovery you can flash a 4.1.1 ROM as well.. Pretty sure there's threads on this subject
