The .hwt is just a .zip renamed .. download a theme .hwt rename it in .zip and unzip it then modify what you want
On old version of Huawei HiSuite we can create theme but only compatible with Emui 1.6 today we don't have any software this functionality was deleted .
OK, but when I unzip the theme, I don't find the battery icon in the nav bar, which is the thing I want to modify. I want to change it to another one, how is that possible?

Thanks for the advice. :good:
I also decompiled the xblast.apk but many questions came to mind, it's not as easy as I thought to just change one little icon.
I find only 2 smali files for stock battery (B513). In Xblast apk there are also 2 smali files for circle battery, but I found many more battery smali files and I have no idea what exactly I have to change.
I have attached screenshots for the smali files I found in systemui.apk and xblast.apk and also the systemui.apk itself and xblast.apk
Any help will be appreciated.

You don't need any smali files only the .PNG files of circle battery and replace them with the battery PNG in systemui.apk, res , drawable-xhdpi
Thanks, I'll try.

Can you tell exactly what have you done? Because the method described by macklon should work.
You have a .hwt file (for example theme.hwt). Then you change the name of that file from theme.hwt to theme.zip, unzip that file and edit what you want. After that, add all files and folders (just everything extracted from the original theme.zip) to a zip archive (for example theme1.zip. The structure inside theme1.zip should be the same as in theme.zip). Finally, rename theme1.zip to theme1.hwt and that's it.

Ok, I exported all relevant graphical content from EMUI. To extract this all files, you'll need to have 7zip. Files are in 3 .zip archieves because of restriction of xda uploads to 20MB.

Hello !
How i can change the icons in the App-Drawer ?
Is there an App like Winterboard for iOS ?
I use a HTC DHD with CM 10.1
Thanks !
Depending on the launcher your using there are icon packs in market but it won't change all of them. You can get experimental and open the apks and change the PNG images but I would do a Full Research on how to come about it cause its no easy task. You can change the .apk to .zip unzip find PNG change rezip change .zip back to .apk then sign it. Its how I do mines but like I said do your research and backup rom before you attempt anything. Enjoy the learning. By the way there is an app that signs the apk for you on the phone. I am out now but I will upload it with instructions for you as soon as I can get to my computer.
Just install apk open it then click button (Choose In/Out) find apk you want to sign then click button (Sign The File). You will then have two files in the folder one signed the other not signed.

Ok thank you ! You mean i must add my new Icon to the IconPack.apk ?
Where i can find the right Names for the Icons ?
And must i delete a Folder before sign the App ? I see this in other Sign-HowTo, but this dont work.
So many Questions ...
No do not delete any folders all your doing is changing the PNG. But make sure the new PNG is the same size as the one being replaced as well as named exactly as the old one. Icon is located in : res folder > drawable-hdpi folder

-Recompile ( or compress by zip and change to .apk )
-Copy systemUI.apk mod to system/app ( remember to BACKUP your original apk)

3extract the attached file from 1st post
4copy and replace
5then unzip and rename to apk
6move to tmp folder 1st to change permission
and last move/replace the said file to system/app folder
result = "unfortunately systemUI.apk has stopped"
please help me, I'm a noob in modification like this.

Ah, now I got it.
You can not extract apk Files and change Files.
You have to decompile. -> Try to follow here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2203166
Only copy & past is not possible in this case
thanks

Read first Post on Page 2
The reply up there I ask you becos' it's wrong, You can do this: Multi Select all the file > compress by zip > change to .apk. That done You need to decompile/recompile when customize the code, but now no need
Never unpack apks! This way you will lose signature.
Just take your apk, open it with WinRAR/7zip without changing the extension,go to res/drawable-hdpi and drag the files there. Then push your SystemUI again to your phone and it should work
If in the drawable-hdpi package there are also .9 pngs decompiling the apk may be necessary
If no one manages to get it working I will make a flashable zip
I think decompile is also necessary if xml Files are changed
---------- Post added at 03:07 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:46 PM ----------
.9.png Files are inside.

mission accomplished for me
i was looking for this mod and i followed instructions on first post, but it doesn't work, because the new compiled systemUI.apk is not recognized by the phone (you can notice it when you see a different icon instead the red one).
The key is DO NOT ESTRACT any file, but only open systemUI.apk with 7zip, go to drawable-hdpi folder and drag files into it, images will be overwritten (i used only 2 files for this test, notification header and panel), then you can close 7zip.
Dariolob suggest is correct, do not extract files from systemUI.
For xposed tweak i followed instructions from youtube, search for "Make Galaxy Note look like the Galaxy S4"
sorry i cant post outside links
here is my mod:

Hello, I have a few questions.
Need Root for it?
And it interfere with software update?
Thank you very much !
Hey Friends,
This is a little Tutorial about changing app icons permanently. There was a lot of applications available in Playstore like
“ icon changer free” etc etc to change the app icons. But the problem is that u cant use that changed apps in ur app drawer. U can only use that in ur home screen as a shortcut.
So I just decided to put a little tutorial to do that easily. I know everybody will know this already. But it will help for someone I am sure….
TOOLS NEEDED..!!
1.Photoshop(Ps)
2.a flashable zip
3.root explorer on your phone
4.7-zip
STEPS-
1) Get some cool icons from my xperia z icons pack - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2287388 and save it to your pc.
Edit: If u need some cool Galaxy S4 icons Download it from Here - http://www.mediafire.com/download/k2522edgik21tp1/GS+4+Icons.zip
2) Whichever app icon you want to mod say the "video player",just copy it's apk from /system/app/<apk_name>.apk
and paste it to sdcard.
3) Now transfer this apk to your pc and extract it using 7-zip.
4) Now look for the app icon the file name maybe in drawable-hdpi and drawable-sw320dp-hdpi under res.."video",or"homescreen_icon" or anything...
5) When you find it just right click on it and click properties under the details tab check it's dimension something like"84X84","42X42","50X48"
6) Alright then you know the app icon dimension now.
7) Now save the image as <app_icon_name>.png on the desktop(make sure the name is proper)
8) Open the apk with 7-zip
9) Now drag and drop this image from the desktop to the folder drawable-hdpi and drawable-sw320-hdpi
and click yes when the prompt appears and close 7-zip
10) Open any flashable zip and don't touch anything except the system folder.
11) Open the system folder and keep only the app folder delete other folders in this app folder copy your "video.apk" and delete other apks if present.
12) Now close the flashable zip and send it to your phone ext _sdcard and flash it by mounting system...and you are done!!
Hit thanks if you got it !!:good:

Same procedure as mentioned above.
Copy that apk on pc open it with 7 zip and follow the procedure.
Besides drawable-hdpi and drawable-sw320dp-hdpi folders, icons are located in mipmap-hdpi folder in most apps. And they are mostly named as ic_launcher_appname.png, so change this png to change icon of that app.

The way to edit a .hwt file is to in on the file with the winrar and replaces a png image for another....just in on the file, never extract....after of change what you want, before that close winrar saves the changes.
To this way I did it,here a theme modified for me :

Thank you.
you don't need tools,
1. change extension from .theme to .zip and extract it.
2.find icons file and replace it or you can extract it(add .zip extension)
3. repack all, for icons.zip, delete .zip extension and for theme archive, change extension from .zip to .theme
Your tool is file manager app ?️, just use it!
