I was trying to flash stock rom on my canvas 4. But some how i dont know process did not comlleted and after when i removed usb and started phone, both wifi and bluetooth was not working. Please help!!

flash stock rom again and which version are you flashing:good:
p.s- never remove phone until flashing has finished

hi i need some help, i have a GN2 GT-N7100 is root it whit a toolkit ver. 3.0, and i have the original room still, i just install from google play store the 3D chaifire app, after that , i install the 3D chainfire pro, i went to the 3D aplication and after opened i had a window telling me that i have to install a 3D driver or some like that and reboot. after reboot mi divice GN2 dosent pass from the first page or window that we see when we turn on our divice (Samsung GALAXY Note II GT-N7100), and i dont kno what to do... thanks in advance.

i had the same problem.. and unfortunately i had no cwm backup. I resolved it by flashing one of the custom roms (ARHD in particular).. I am assuming your sg note 2 is rooted and u have cwm recovery.. so you can still boot into recovery by holding volume up , power and home simultaneously then backup. subsequently after flashing with custom rom and your phone is booting , you can do advanced restore and restore data only.. hope it works

yes it is rooted and what do u mean with cwm recovery?
CWM - ClockworkMod Recovery (CWM) for Samsung Galaxy Note 2
For your case, try to install your firmware again with Odin.

Your original issue was that chainefire 3d does not work on jelly bean phones. So avoid installing it after you are able to restore lol

hi thanks for ur answer, i dont have a jally bean install, just the stock rom, and i have beeing fail trying to wake up this GN2, i guess i will buy another one, .... just 3 days with this one lol

I think by default the Note 2 comes only with jellybean.

The note 2 comes with jelly bean stock
Were you able to install cwm by using jaycooi's link?
That would let you get a custom ROM installed.
Otherwise you could try downloading your stock firmware from Sammobile.com/firmware
Then flashing that through Odin. Could get you back up and running

how do i flash through Odin?
then lets supose that i download my stock rom from sammobile,

it is a zip? what do i do with that zip or file?
where do i put that zip or file?
can i put it on SD xternal card?
because i dont see the SD internal or my PC dont detect my divice.

I have TWRP installed. Wanted to wipe everything to install another rom. I did so, but didn't have an OS so I flashed the original OS and its stuck on the Samsung Galaxy Note II startup and I can't seem to boot into recovery mode anymore. Am I SOL? Anything I can do?
3 button recovery mode is failing ??
If yes....an Odin push of a rooted stock build may be needed....especially if a battery pull won't get you to recovery using the combo...g
Edit....you are "NOT" bricked...just jammed up a bit...g

/facepalm I forgot about that. Ok I am in TWRP recovery now. Ok I need to reinstall the original OS. I was going to install another rom but realized I forgot to put it back on the phone so don't I need to reinstall the original OS to use the USB feature and then connect to the PC to transfer the rom? If so, how do I flash the original OS? I flashed the stock launcher, but I think I may be doing it wrong. I haven't messed OS in quite some time and I have forgotten some things.
K I think I have it. I flashed Clean Rom Lite. So I guess all I have to do now is put the rom on the phone and then flash it correct?

Please help. I flashed the stock rom launcher and got stuck at the loading screen. I then flashed clean rom lite, but I have no mobile service.
Clean rom isn't working so I am trying to flash AOKP via Odin. So I put my phone in download mode. Open Odin. Check PDA open up the AOKP file and I have waited 10 minutes and Odin doesn't do anything.

Do you have custom recovery, and can you get into it?

i have unrooted note 2 N7100... i was updating to 4.3 when suddenly download stopped at 25% because of lost wifi connection....
when i reconnect and check for update it says latest updates already installed.....tried so many times....even with mobile data .....but still says already installed......
feeling trolled helpless......what to do??????

Did you try factory reset from settings or restart phone and try again?

Well if after a data reset it does not work through wifi then I blv odin is the best way to get it

Well I tried restarting...changing time and date...clearing caches....
I hearh somewhere that the ota server searches..refreshes only once a day...I found ota yesterday 11 am...so waiting may be after that time it may show....after that I ll try all possible options.

ok....how do i do data reset.....??
and using odin....will it work for unrooted device...means i have no idea...!! will doing a factory reset help.....still havent tried tht yet...saving as last resort.
Yes factory reset n then try but I would recommend a odin flash and why not go custom a step ahead and get all note 3 goodies with better support

after updating my kies to version 3 it showed the firmware update....updated to 4.3
Yes u r right....after seeing this useless 700 mb junk update...with no new real exciting features...i hav also decided to root and go custom....but the prob is i am new to android...its just been a yr... note 2 is my 1st one....i have 0 knowledge of rooting unrooting....and all those stuff....and custom roms....are those stable.....i am worried tht i ll probably brick my phone if i make any mistake....!!!!
anyways any suggestions abt best custom roms and rooting method...????

in short what u need
samsung drivers and no kies install on pc(drivers available in the link
a custom recovery philz or twrp .tar file and use odin 3.07 to flash the recovery getting your phn in download mode if flashing recovery does not get you custom then
repeat above steps and untick "autoreboot" in odin. Once flash is done, keep pressing power button until it reboots (normally will go to recovery)
when in recovery, if you choose option "reboot system now" and you get "yes - disable flash recovery", select that option to avoid stock recovery overwriting cwm
once u get custom recovery backup your complete rom to external sd and imp of all backup efs here are some method mentioned http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2389426 keep it safe on pc
now all ready to rock and roll with custom rom my preference would be phoenix v15 or dn3 which is about to be uploaded in few hours and enjoy the latest note3 features.
and as far as a year goes with your phn i rarely care about breaking my phone the imp of all is to follow guide and no issue almost more than 3 years in xda and all good.
if any help needed shoot me a p.m and yes before doing anything just enable usb debugging on phn

I am new to XDA, but have been following threads for a while, recently i rooted my note 2 and flashed the dn3 rom, unfortuantely i removed it due to the increase of ram usage, so i flashed the 4.3 pre-rooted and knox free rom and have been quite happy until i noticed random reboots, now i tried clearing my cache and my delvick cache but nothing it rebbots randomly(but not so frequent) i wish someone can give me a solution because this is really frustrating, thanks for your help in advance

Do you observer any FC or hear sound for FC like 1 beep and 2 beeps and then phone reboots?
I had once happening to me like that on Hurricane 4.3 V5 when I tried to replce services.jar it kept on rebooting for no apperent reason nor showing any FC message but there was sound of FC
These are known problems while using wifi patch.. flash mj5 bootloader and then you can use any mj5, mk4 rom without any freezes/fc/reboots

With MJ5 bootloader DN3 v3 never freezer or reboots.
There are some fc here and there whe apps are launcher in a window thru multiwindow bar (i.e. Google Earth), but never reboots.
So MJ5 bootloader gives wifi and stability to the whole system.

I have installed the room "mk9_with_note3_package_v2" . Every single menus are perfect. Also working fine. However my phone keeps rebooting it self. What should i do for that ? Do you know ?

What were u doing when the phone rebooted? Also, is it a hard reboot (the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 screen shows up) or did it just go straight to your boot animation?

I think it is touchwiz 4.3.
When I had AOSP ROMs it was not an issue. I grabbed the GN2 4.3 ROM pre-rooted stock image and it randomly reboots. Not hotbooting/softbooting, It shows the black and white Galaxy Note II splash screen.
It appears as though a process hangs and cause the instability. I haven't had a chance to log these issues as I've only been on the ROM for 3 weeks. I am running the latest firmware too.
I have a canvas 4 a210, which I have been using lately and that too amazingly. I flashed almost every Rom possible on xda and loved thier features.but now I want to revert back to stock. the only foolish thing I did was not to take a stock Rom backup. otherwise it would have been a wonderful journey. I tried all links possible to download the stock Rom but all in vain as none of them works all of them get stuck in the bootloop and are possibly released by some guy ibshar. I do not have a pc and I use cwm recovery to flash roms and beleive me I never faced any issue. but just getting back to stock makes me sad as I have even wasted 5-6 gb of downloading crap roms they store as stock.so if anybody who is really amazing in this help me as I cannot show but I literally cry for stock.
Most available stock roms for canvas4 are in binary format and needs sp tools to flash it.. Best option is flash Pranjal's ROM as it is nothing but stock ROM minus all bloat wares
