I have set a lockscreen using knock code and a photo from my gallery but I am also getting an extra lockscreen (black screen with blue font) which I have to swipe to progress. Photo of screen attached. I do not want this screen but cannot find a way to stop it. Can anyone help please.
Seems as your firmware is faulty. Try flashing stock firmware according to this guide :

Have a good day!
the only benefit that i got from this is that my free ram never drops below 1.5GB.. so thanks for this dev

Don't flash this...it really doesn't add any benefit accept maybe the RAM optimization, and it does not add the knock on/knock off feature.
LG has the feature in the LG G Pro Lite which has half the specs of the regular G Pro. Maybe they will update us one day.....

I'm going to guess that this does not work on cyanogenmod and such
Nope. Checked. Doesnt work on cm11, not even the launcher works
if someone could develop this please to make tap to wake
thank u for the hard work
i have this tweak on Nexus 4 with Touch Control and it s works great
now i am on G pro and i missed that option
If u wanna try stock based rom .. check out my g2 rom that has knock on working.. with kernel enhancements

Knock on for anything but the G2 is kinda a cap shoot. The G2 has a lot more sensors to pick up the knocks. Also, the knocks on feature has been proven to use battery.

Similar problem, but with encrypted phone
I am having a similar issue, but my problem is that my phone is encrypted. I am able to use the smart lock feature to access the swipe to unlock screen with the icons at the bottom, but I can't customize the icons because the menu is not available while the device is encrypted. Is there another way to change this screen? I know I have been unable to find one.
I've also tried decrypting the device temporarily to change the lock screen, but the device refuses to decrypt. It sits for hours at the LG menu after restarting to decrypt, and I finally have to pull the battery to restart. After I do so, the phone operates as if it was never given instructions to decrypt. Any suggestions?
MX Player goes black while playing some videos. any solution? tried different players but still same issue - Ze550ml, firmware 2.19.40.23

hey..! I have same problem...can you explain again how you fixed it?
I think I must have disabled something the stock voice recorder is dependent on. I still see an icon but its that default little android icon. I press it and it just throws an error. Any ideas? Anyone have the voice recorder apk? I can't seem to figure out if i disabled something or accidentally deleted it...

Exactly Same situation here. But I ve not frozen anything.
Anybody could help?
Edit: solved reflashing the rooted image. Probably LG backup fault.
Same issue...
Can you upload the priv-app folder containing the voice recorder? I want to see if it will fix it without having to flash sys img again

I'm having the same issue on my Canadian variant H812 and I factory reset the phone and it came back. Then after a few hours the icon became the little Android icon and no longer works.
What's going on?
