Flashing Roms are better then getting updates from Micromax. All the credit goes to the rom developers.
We Won't Get Kitkat OTA Update
According to me, MMX won't upgrade our Beloved Canvas 4 to Kitkat even if they could because they have launched Canvas 4+ (as we all know) and they won't want to decrease their sales by providing us the Kitkat update. People Also Upgrade Phones just for the sake of a higher version of Android . Thnks To Great Devs We already have Kitkat

Android 4.2.2 was released January 2014. I think you can't expect a KitKat upgrade. BUT you can use a KitKat custom rom e.g. Cyanogenmod 11

I have already used cm11.It is awesome except for the bugs.Even the new camera app by google crashes a lot.

Only one limitation it is a single sim rom..

I think it's this guy http://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?s=&showtopic=501958&view=findpost&p=35801124. He upload only lollipop screens from this Huawei, and he say, wifi and ril are full working.
BTW. Stable port Slimrom 4.4.2 is possible for NX http://www.htcmania.com/showthread.php?t=772094. I will try port this rom but first I must fix my PC :/

From what I can see from the chat, it will take a while. They need to focus on porting for the Z series first, their alpha pack does not work for the M2/T2U/C3 but it will for the Z. That and we don't have a true deodex patch working.
