I've done something terrible....
I installed on my MINI android 4.4.2 from here: sammobile.com/firmwares/3/?download=[spacebar]30856 and only THIS.
Now i want to realy, realy back to 4.2.2 XEO version.
Or official from samsung 4.2.2 then to 4.2.2 XEO...
Plz help xda!
ps. ofc seraching engine was on for several hours before I started this topic but nothink found...

You CANNOT downgrade to jelly bean. Only one JB firmware can be flashed. That is brazil ububne2. It has latest knox bootloader.
Any older jelly bean firmwares cannot be flashed. So as of now it is IMPOSSIBLE to downgrade from any kitkat to jb xeo.

You can install any other kitkat firmware if there is none available for your country. They work more often than not. You can try spain or germany unbranded kitkat roms. Good luck.

Hi,
I have litreally nearly gone round the whole forum looking for a soluotion to this but none has helped. I have installed Cyanogenmod 10.1 for galaxy ace 2 (Gt-I8160ZSLK2) a hong kong device, since than the phone can't detect the sim card so I can't make any calls or text anyone because itt will just pop up with a message mobile network not found. Please can someone help me on this?

Try Wipe Data then reflash the rom

I have already tried this rom but is still based on GB but it doesn't matter hopefully someday or someone would release a jellybean firmware for galaxy ace 2. Thanks for trying to help though!

Its the same phone as ours, but its the hk region model. its still GT-I8160.

but i can flash some other countys even flash thailland firmware even the model is trinidad and thailand version i am using it here in my maldives .its perfect.

Man, you cant. Smsung didn release Modem fr HK verson ... you will never have working jb without it...

I have upgraded to 4.3 and it really sucks. Battery drains so fast that I have to charge almost 3 times a day.

There are 4.1.2 stock firmwares over at Sammobile.But i dont think you can return to 4.1.2 with a 4.3 Knoxed Bootloader
I have checked SamMobile it dont have 4.1.2 for India any more. just 4.3. I have downgraded to 4.1.1 and dont have any problem because of knoxed but just cant find any working 4.1.2 ROMS. I did tried few on XDA by Dr. Ketan.

Hello, I have a mother-in-law problem... so I guess you understand my cry for help.
I recently updated her Galaxy Ace 2 (GT-I8160) from 2.3.6 to 4.1.2
Something I shouldn't have done, considering the device being very slow after the update.
So now I am trying to find the old 2.3.6 firmware again, specifically for the Netherlands (XEN).
I have search pretty much everywhere on the web, but only find dead hotfile links that work no more.
I hope anyone still has the stock rom on their computer!

See, if I would download a random 2.3.6 stock ROM from that website, would I be able to use the Dutch language for the phone?

Oh, and also something that remains unclear to me: if I do get the Dutch language with any kind of stock 2.3.6 ROM, will I then be able to use in on the cellular networks in the Netherlands?

I'm from the Philippines and I used the Italian XXNA1 (Latest stock Samsung 4.1.2 firmware) for a short time (test purposes..) before upgrading to CM 10.1. Was able to connect to our local cell network.

Vino Kulafu, would you mind checking whether the CM 10.1 ROM also has the language option for Dutch (="Nederlands")?
AFAIK all stock ROMs have all Latin-based languages, only a few stocks support Arabic fonts, Cyanogenmod has (at least) Latin+Japanese+Chinese

Yep, it has Nederlands (Belgie) and Nederlands (Nederland).

I tried to downgrade from china SM-P601 kit kat firmware to Jelly Bean version. Then I get the following error at ODIN.

Maybe you can try try to downgrade to Jellybean from the same region(China).
If it still fails, meaning your current P601 Bootloader doesn't allow to downgrade to Jellybeans once update to KK.

Thank you for the explanation. I tried to use Russian Kitkat version and it worked.
Please don't use the chi a firmware; since it doesnot have google play store or any google stuff.
Russian firmware is ok. It has all google stuff plus extras.
Hope this helps for anyone with a similar issue.

Well, I could only install Russian Kikat version. I guess anyone who tried kitkat on SM-P601 would not be able to downgrade due to boot loader issue.

hello my friend, I had the same problem as you with my sm-P601, I downloaded the firmware on SamMobile and I chose china after installation odin, I've realized that there was not play blind, there was not french, and others. I downloaded a new firmware with another country. but when installing this message is playing in red: SW REV CHECK DEVICE FAIL 3 BINARY 2. I HAVE seen that you had the same problem and you found a solution with kitkat Russian. Edit:Hmm true.. you dont have 4.2.2 for china.. damn.
I hope you can flash custom recovery. Try to flash custom recovery, then flash GenNxt rom by balliboxer.
Then try flashing kitkat rom.
After that flash lollipop rom. Or stay kitkat since lolli is new and kinda unstable.
You put the tar file of other country in pda right?

i have a grand duos and it wont install stock rom using odin. DONT KNOW WHY PLEASE HELP. when i use odin to flash it shows fail like 5 sec into the process. i dont have any back up that i made. i believe its a chines version but not the lame ass mtk or whatever. it had android version 4.1 on it before. can you guys help me out please HELP ME
