Hi, I found this thing, I tried now lately 2 ROM (Dr.Ketan v9 and X-TREME v4) based on the official firmware XXUFNG4 and both showed me the problem with disconnecting Sony SmartWatch SW2.
I do not know if it's any systemic "property" or somehow reduce the scope for bluetooth? I wear a watch on his left hand and a phone in my case right on the belt.
Restart (both phone and watch) did not help.
He did not meet anyone with the same problem? (N7100)
So I think I found the solution to my problem.
It is not perfect, but I watch it does not disconnect.
If you set the visible BT, respectively. time limit visibility to none, so the watch will stop disconnecting. Except that the patch phone's visibility is greater consumption.
I tried to Blutooth range fix from Dr. Ketan on X-TREAME ROM problem with bluetooth and it worked, but again there were problems other.
See. click here.
Can't fix the BT problem after flash NG4 based roms (tryied Ketan v10 and Phanton v9). When try to connect to my Gear1, the ConnectionManager as stopped.
Even flashing the BT range fix doesn't work for me.
Clean install without restore anything of sammyaccount, doesen't work too

As everybody know, its quite annoying use Universal as mobile. then, i decided to start to use the Bluetooth headset!
But doesn't work all the time.
If i set one headset, it works fine for few hours, then, after a while, without any message, bluetooth in my Universal turns off it self!!
At begin i though that would be my headset, then i tested with my other headset, and is the same!
Beside that, when i try to pair it them once more, it has static on it.
So, to be able to use it again, i need to:
- Remove device in my bluetooth list
- restart headset
- Search for device once more
And then, it works for a while again.
Well, i have tested in two headset over here, The Dopod H1 and Targus.
Does anybody knows what is going on or had same problem?
Thanks in advance!
Same here
I have experienced the same problem with my JasJar. The bluetooth radio seems to turn itself off from time to time. I think it is somehow related to WM2005, because I had the same issue with a Himalaya running WM2005. What is weird is that the blue light continues to blink. If you go to the wireless manager applet, it sometimes shows the bluetooth as on and sometimes as off, but if you go to the bluetooth setting, it shows the radio as off.
Any suggestions?
TIA

I'm trying this at present. BT stayed on overnight, despite very low battery, and I'll put it into use all of today. If I go a full day without losing BT then it's solved for me cos I was losing it ALL the time 2 days ago.
Hmm, I had a better day with this reg hack - but I did lose BT once. SO, inconclusive at present.
Guys - I have searched the whole internet and can confirm that there is a problem with the ROM
Until it is fixed Bluetooth will not work as it should
This is a problem i had with original jasjar rom (september 2005). First official upgrade and all subsequent roms have solved this problem. I'm actualy using helmi's aky 3.5 1.3.1 and sony hbh660 dayly without any problem.
Hello everyone,
I have a problem with my Huawei ascend P6. In my car I have a radio with bluetooth. There is no problem with making calls via BT and music is playing too, BUT not correctly. There are many lags during palying, its like a listening scratchy CD. I have no idea where is the problem. When I find out that problem, I was in b125 rom with root, so I tried to reinstal to b122 and there is the same problem. I tried another player too (power amp).
Do anyone have some idea how to fix it?
Thank you and excuse my english!
I use Bluetooth paired with soundbar system and don't have problems...even during many hours.
I've install 125 rom.
Hi,
i have a Alpine CDA-137BTi (car-radio) and the same Problem. Ever i herad music it lags. If i call with anybody it is perfectly.
My Firmware B125
My radio used a patriod BT modul
Hi,
I am not sure but i think that I solve it. I was thinking where exactly can be the problem and then I realized that the main problem of this phone is processor and its optimalization. And because there was no aplications runing background, I tried turn off Wi-Fi and lags where gone. For sure I tried run Riptide GP game like a stress test and still no lags. Than I tried turn Wi-Fi on again and lags where back. It needs more testing, but during 5 minutes of my testing (it was 1:30 am) there was no problem when wi-fi was off.
One side I am not using wifi in my car, on the other side it will be not very comfortable turning wifi on and off in the car. Although it will work it is not full-featured solution. So if anybody have better idea how to solve it without swtiching wifi please write it here.
Thank U!

Lucky devil If you're trying to imply that the problem could be in the radio, I tried to connect other devices and there was no problem. If you are not, doesn´t matter
Bluetooth Lags ==> Wifi off

I had exactly the same problem : it only occurs when you use bluetooth with no wifi network connected.
At home, when i'm connected to my wifi network, I don't have this issue. It seems like each time wifi tries to discover networks, it lags my music streaming.
So I installed Tasker (Paly store), and configured it so that when I'm connected to my car's bluetooth device, it disables Wifi (and re-enable when it disconnects from my car's bluetooth device).
I now don't have this issue anymore.
Give it a try !

So, I .. I spent the last few hours reading about tasker - what is "tasker" for and how to use it - it took a lot of time to me, because my english is not very good... and result? Not much I know now a little about what is it for, but I have absolutely no idea how to use it. There is a large number of Instructions in english how to use it and much more technical terms in it which I dont understand. Please, do you think that you could write here a little "step by step recipe" how to use tasker to disconnect wifi when the bluetooth is paired with my radio?
Thank you for answer.
Hi all,
the question is, why it lags? Tasker are no solution for me. On my old HTC Sensation XE all music, calls, navigation and and and works fine.

The main question is how to fix it. I tried to instal other versions of rom and I think, that only b111 doesn´t have that problem (I am not sure..). But b111 have other deficiencies. There is no problem on my "old" galaxy SII and my girlfriends galaxy pocket too, P6s hw is better, so there can be only problem in sw optimalization and yes, tasks are not ideal solution, but what else can we do? Personaly I can´t work neither with tasker, so if anybody have other idea, share it
Why no try to use Bluetooth app on performance mode. ? Could works
I have the very same problem.
Any news?

Yes, I´m sending device to service tomorrow (because of these lags and problem with camera LED) Which ROM do you use? b111 or some later? I´m asking becasue with b111 lags were not so often.
I also have these problems. Updated ROM to version B512, looks like it's a little better, but still the lag is there. WiFi off doesn't have any effect for me..
Did somebody find the solution???
Turning of WiFi doesn't solve the problem for me..
Pls somebody reply after 2 years (':
Hello all.
Have an AT&T Note 2 running Sky Note Air rom with AGNi kernel.
The problem I am experiencing is that the bluetooth distance is very very short. For example, I have a bluetooth radio in my car and only works correctly when I set the phone right next to the radio. If I take it more than a foot away it starts cutting out and stuttering. I have tried many different radios and bluetooth audio devices with the same results. Phone calls via bluetooth also acts the same.
Have researched my fingers to the bone, tried various ROMS and kernels with no luck. The bluetooth did work correctly back in the 4.1 days of Android.
Are there any configurations I could possibly make to change the amount of power the bluetooth receives to maybe increase range(if it works that way)? Or is my bluetooth hardware has possibly gone bad.
Thanks in advance!
Hi. Wondering if anybody could help. When I connect my oneplus 5T to my car I have problems. When it starts to call it disconnects the bluetooth from the car completely. However the call continues on the phone which is a complete pain as you cant use it through the hands free. Car is a BMW 630CI with pro nav if that helps.
Many Thanks
i first had problems to connect to my audi A3 bluetooth ... it simply didn´t find it
after trying again and changing the bluetooth audio codec it suddenly worked ...
Idk if it will work for you, but you can try changing the codec and se if it helps
Hi. Ive tried all 3. It connects fine and I can see my contacts but as soon as I hit dial it disconnects from the car.
Very strange.
Thanks for the suggestion tho
with mine in my car it every now and then gives me this a crackling sound.. Kind of irritating, I'm hoping a software update down the road fixes this.. I've tried all 3 codecs
Having issues with Bluetooth connection on my Prius Prime as well. It always disconnects, I had to disable Bluetooth on the phone and re-able it for it to work.
I experience the same with my Boss QC35. First connection, audio breaks with lots of noise and had to disable it and re-enable it.
Still found no solution. Hope the next update sorts it out as the bluetooth seems a mess.
So after looking around, there are issues with certain codecs and devices connecting being posted in the OP community forums. My Sony WH1000xm2 headphones stutter when using AptX HD. My JBL Everest 750NC's - if you turn the volume up too high, they disconnect from the phone. In my Cadillac ATS, whenever you place a call it'll stay connected, but you won't hear anything, and the other user can't hear you either.
I think they've acknowledged the issues and are working on them, but after putting Oreo on my Moto G5 Plus and Oreo's ability to change between all codec's on the fly (including native LDAC support!) I'm anxiously awaiting Oreo to be 'officially' released.
I'd say just be patient.. I'm sticking with this phone because I think it'll be worth it in the end. Wish I had better news!
so I resolved my Bluetooth issues by flashing FreedomOS. Now there is no intermittent crackling sound now and there is no issues at all ymmv, this was just my experience.
Thanks. Will wait for Oreo and then try different roms if it continues.
on FreedomOS before, it was giving me headache re-connecting to my Subaru car bluetooth, like after you shutoff engine, go somewhere and come back, unless you manually force connecting to the car, it barely auto reconnect back.
And also takes so long to get data sync from my Fitbit chargeHR to the app.
I don't think this kind of bluetooth issue related to what rom we have but the kernel and more specifically BT firmware.
-----edit-------
My friend also got BT issue when he tried to connect to BT headset. Hope Oneplus get something fixed on new oreo or updates
Just an update. Since upgrading to the official Oreo rom my problems have disappeared and my phone now works fine with the car Bluetooth.
Chris
I still have problems. Pause and unpause, and the track restarts. After ending a phone call the track restarts. 2018 RAM, Uconnect
With stock ROM 4.7.2 bluetooth connected only for a few seconds with my Audi A6. With every following stock ROM version it didn't even connect.
I tried every single Audio-Codec and the different settings in developer options - nothing helped. Once I cleared data & cache from the bluetooth system apps followed with a soft brick
Hi all,
Had same issues with my Hyundai ix35 and oneplus 5t (Nougat), tracks skipping, distorted audio in calls, etc... Tried emptying bluetooth cache, switching audio codecs without success. Now I just received the OTA update to Oreo (8.0), Oxygen rom 5.0.3 and it solved the issues!!! Yeay, no more auxilary cable hanging around !

I started from scratch but the issue persists.
I am having the same issue in my car. It no longer displays track information and the connection is not very stable. I will try switching the codec and report back.
i don.t have any volume control from the phone basically when i connect it to my car stereo
i can control the volume for the first 4-5 clicks ... and then the slider moves but there is no difference in the volume
i have to turn the volume from the stereo almost to the max
whit my old samsung tablet works great ... i have maybe 50% more volume then with my phone
tried all codecs ...
So, somewhere in May I received the automatic update to Oreo 8.0. Hurray! Sadly though, that's when my bluetooth problems started:
It connects to my car, as normal. And I can make and receive calls, as always. But during the call my bluetooth connection with my car would just drop. If the person on the other end of the line is patient enough, I can just reconnect while driving and continue. But it will drop once each minute. It's very frustrating. This worked flawlessly before the update.
Funny thing is there are no issues at all when playing music of a portable speaker. I can even play spotify through my car's speakers without problems. The problem only presents itself during calls on the carkit. To make sure it's not the car, I tried some other phones. My wife's samsung, also with 8.0, worked perfectly. So does my daughters Iphone with IOS. My car is a Volvo C30 from 2012. It has built-in phone connectivity.
What I tried:
- Unpairing and pairing again.
- Hard reset. In combination with re-pairing.
- Using the developer options to use Bluetooth AVRCP 1.4. In combination with unpairing and re-pairing.
- Using the developer options to use Bluetooth AVRCP 1.5. In combination with unpairing and re-pairing.
- Disabling automatic bluetooth/wifi scanning in the location settings.
- It even went to the repair center for a different issue (unresponsive touch-screen) and the repair notes stated that they also installed the newest software. So I had hopes that this would resolve my carkit issue, but it didn't.
Do you guys know any more tricks for me to try?
I have an XA1 ultra with Oreo 8 as well (build 48.1.A.2.21) and I'm experiencing the same problems, but adding that mine disconnects also when streaming music. Other problem I'm experiencing after the Oreo update is that, when using my watch (LG G Watch R) paired with the phone, the sound streaming is just crap, with lots of jumps and bad audio quality. This is so frustrating that I'm seriously considering buying a new phone ( not from Sony, of course)
:crying:
Anyone?
