HI,
Could anyone suggest the a good KitKat rom for overclocking the 1.01 2014 tables. I installed the kitkat hyper drive a few weeks back but no custom kernel. I tried downgrading to an earlier rom but it wont take so looking for a kitkat one.
thx in advance
Bobby
Curious- do you have an Exynos or Snapdragon (LTE) Note 10.1? (This is the first device that I'll be doing a custom kernel for that I won't try and overclock, as the (Snapdragon) Note 10.1 just seems SO fast already.)
Samsung 10.1 2014 CPU

I believe it's the 1.9Ghz/1.3GhzExynos CPU.

So I have the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 wifi (sm-t210r). It is running 4.1.2. I noticed that there is a Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 LTE (sm-t215) available, which is running 4.2.2. Other than mine being wifi only, and the other supporting phone data, what is the difference between the two? What would happen if I downloaded the LTE's firmware and tried to flash it to my wifi tablet? If it were to brick it, would I be able to flash the official firmware back onto my wifi tablet and have it working again?
Don't do it! http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=45469891&postcount=5
t215 & t217: 1.7 GHz Qualcomm snapdragon 400 processor, 1.5 GB RAM
t210 & t211: 1.2 GHz Marvell processor, 1 GB RAM
also, they have different partition layouts. the firmware from the t215 definitely won't work as-is on a t210r. it probably wouldn't be to hard for someone who has a t210 or t211 to port it, tho.
Well alrighty then. I'll just have to wait until either an officail 4.2/3/3 firmware comes out, or a modder comes out with a custom firmware for it then. Thanks for the informative replies guys.
Hi guys,
currently i own a Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) - SM-P605, so is the variant with the LTE connectivity.
While i like to have mobile connectivity on my devices, i don't necessarily use it all the time, so i'm thinking if it is possible to install 4.4.2 android version for SM-P600 on this LTE variant, and reinstall the LTE variant later, when available..? Of course i assume only wifi connectivity until than...
If i remember well, i think i did once this on the first variant of galaxy note 10.1, by mistake, obviously, but it worked...
I'm looking for an advised opinion, please let me know what you think!
thanks a lot in advance,
f

I would be really surprised if you flashed the P600 firmware on the P605 and it worked. The P600 has an Exynos CPU, the P605 has a Qualcomm CPU and if you flash the wrong firmware you will most likely brick your device.
Advice: Under no circumstances try to flash a P600 firmware on a P605 or vice versa!

Ohhh, in this case, of course...
I was convinced that there is a wifi version of the tablet with Qualcomm too...
thanks a lot!
Hi developers! I'm looking for a kernel, that enables or adds OTG for SM-T110, or a kernel that provides OC. And i have a question about OS, will this tablet get KK 4.4.2? I've heard somewhere that in samsung databases, there is KK for SM-T110. Is that true?
Thanks.
How do you guys think? Does this tablet gonna get the KK update or not? The SM-T210 has KK, and it's same as T110 but t210 has 3G, and i think exonys CPU 1,2ghz and T110 has Marvell PXA 986 1,2ghz. I think it's not that much of a difference in a CPU, and samsung can do a 4.4.2 on Sm-t110. How do you guys think? Will Samsung do 4.4.2 for SM-T110?

Why do you want the rom from the SM-T330 on the SM-T310? They use different SOC's (SM-T310 uses Samsung's Exynos chipset while the SM-T330 uses a Qualcomm chipset). So the sources are not really compatible.
Furthermore, they use different graphics chips. So, while you *might* technically be able to run the SM-T330 ROM on the SM-T310, it probably isn't worth it.
Especially since some people already have an unofficial build of Cyanogenmod 12.1 for it (Android 5.1). Why don't you get involved with them instead?
Look over their repositories and their commit history to understand what they did and why they did it (assuming good commit logs).
See the subforum post here:

Am already running cm 12.1 ROM but am not able to get touchwiz interface and launcher ........ That's the only problem I have
