Acro S no usb debug mode - Sony Xperia S, Acro S, Ion

Hello,
I am having an issue with my acro s it will not go into debug mode when connect to my pc any more, it was working fine but has just stopped. I have checked the developer options and it is selected there. I have tried in different version of Windows and no joy so I think its the phone that has the problem. I am running stock 4.1 and rooted. Please help.

Hi all,
After flashing Android Revolution HD 5.1.3, whenever I connect my device to the computer via USB, the debugging mode will not disable. And yes I have disabled the option from inside the apps menu. Any thoughts please?

Your going to have to use the windows terminal to enable usb debugging on your android device. Unfortunately idk how to do that.

Rooting via Odin dont work, need alternative.

Hello guys,
Happy to join this community, im here from S2 9100, bought T989 for my girlfriend. And got strange issue, need help. Im trying to root this phone:
Baseband version : T989UVLDH
As im trying use odin, if phone is not in download mode, odin finds ports as: COM3 or COM4
but if it is in download mode it doesnt find any ports, installed latest samsung drivers, as it should im using android for a really long time. is there any alternative to root without odin? or anyone can help me? thank you very much, i cant handle that my girlfriend uses 2.3.6
have you tried different USB ports, if not try and restart your computer and make sure KIES anything is not running it will make odin FAIL everytime

where it is on 2.3.6? when installed kies nothing changed
debugging on your phone i think in 2.3.6 its-Open the Settings. --Now tap on “Applications”.--And then go to “Development”.--Check the option: “USB debugging”... if its not on(checked)ODIN will not read it if USB DEBUGGING is turned off and as far as KIES you need to make sure its not running anywhere force stop it kill it in your processes etc.. no trace of KIES and then go to download mode again and try

First of all, turn off your phone to set your phone in flashmode. You do not need USB debugging at all for this process.
Also, why are you trying to install LT15i kernel on LT18 phone?
finally sorted it but the [ROM.ICS.13] [Arc/S.Pro] [Xperia Z1 Honami ROM_Exclusive Edition] [Both BL] 16.11.13 think it as a problem charging battery if I start using the phone my battery goes down in charge

Options for fixing bricked M4

So I have an xperia M4 Aqua Dual (E2363), it is not rooted, locked bootloader, usb degugging disabled, basically straight from the factory.
When I turn it on all I get is the white Xperia screen, it doesn't loop, but it doesn't get any further.
I can get in to fastboot mode but I don't think I can do anything here since usb debugging is disabled right?
If I try flash mode, I get the green light but the phone is never detected in flashtool (tried windows and linux versions 9.23 and 9.18).
Some background:
I have been having problems alot recently, so much so that in the past 3 weeks I have used Xperia Companion to software repair 5 times. I have also had problems since I got the phone, but not as frequent as recently.
Usually XC software repair works, but just like with flash mode in flashtool, XC no longer detects when I plug the phone in.
Based on that I have always had this problem, albeit not as often, I think there must be some hardware problem.
Is there anything left that I can try?
Well, first of all, this is not an Xperia M4 section. This is Xperia M(2013) section. So from next time make sure you post in right section because Xperia M4 users will be able to help you better.
Now coming to your problem, device might not be getting detected because you might not have installed right drivers for it.
In flashtool installation directory, you'll find fastboot drivers. install drivers for your device.
Another problem might be from your pc. I remember my laptop is giving me error "USB not recognized" but my pc works well. So just try it.
Hope it helps
And from next time make sure you post in right section.
I didn't notice that about the section, thanks for the heads up!
