My be it is due to system write protection issues. You might want to install wpk_to module. Try following the instructions provided in the following link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2707378
Hit thanks if it helps.

Can anyone say me if with this rom i can have the official updates of HTC ?
Regards
Once you download a ROM , you have a " new Operating system " ... EG: if you buy a cakes from Tescos then take it back to ASDA.. asda will tell you to bog off... same with the ROM's ...
Each ROM works with the updates from who ever created it ... (via rom manager is best )
if you try and update a " rom " that was not on your phone originally .. you could end in loop... HTC hell...
but once you do ... like a famous crisp manufacturer said .. you just cant stop !!!

Sorry but what a load of ****. If you root and end up in a boot loop, just bloody go back to the recovery, wipe and flash. If your phone really buggers up, you can use an ruu to get it back to stock and hopefully working again.
Also, rom manager is ****. It is buggy and doesn't work well with the desire. Your best off manually downloading the rom, putting it on your SD card and then flashing it in recovery.

Hi. I've just managed to root and install oxygen on my orange 0.93 desire. Still simlocked though?
As far as I know, rooting had nothing to do with sim lock. Bit you can find a sim unlock utility for desire here.

after rooting it is not necessary to flash a rom, it is necessary if you want to flash custom rom and to install some apps which need root access.
charge fully and try rebooting the mobile & see. check here for your respective rom.
hi iam waleed my htc wildfire is stuck on htc logo when i was changing fonts using font changer app it says reboot your device and it stuck on htc logo so plzz help thanks
Reinstall stock rom
Hi everybody!
I'm not sure if I had selected right place to publish my question, but... I hope so
I have some problems with my HTC Wildfire (A3333) and I want to reinstall stock ROM : android froyo 2.2.1.
I have little (better to say no) experience with installing /reinstalling android software, so I don't know what to do. I tried to use some manuals online, but that didn't bring any success to me :-/
I hope somebody will mention my post, so please would you be so kind and tell me what to do?
Thanks a lot!
A.
Ti restore Htc
Hello.. the first thing you have to do that check your security is On or Of If your security is of so you able to flash stock back if your security is on so you have to unlock the bootloader after that you have to find the right model ruu file for htc to restore it.... and that's all :good:

Hi there!
I installed TWRP Recovery and Tomal's Discovery ROM on the my HTC Desire 820 device.
This ROM does not see Root even though it is Custom Rom.
The CPU-Z program says it's got root (Root Access : Yes) , but SuperSU and Root Checker programs says do not have root access.
No rooting apps working.
Im trying to install from TWRP but also hangs on the HTC logo screen.
Anyone know of a clean setup? Could you tell me how to do it step by step with the right files? I can not make root.
Sorry for my bad english :x Thanks ...
Same mine. I have reinstalled by twrp different sufile. I didnt worked but phone is on.. l couldnt root.
