Hello Guys, i'm new to this handset and i would like to ask some questions, simple noob question which i can't cope with finding the solution lol
The question are so simple, can i flash other region for my international One X?
i bought the phone in Singapore and i would like to flash the phone with WWE stock ROM.
which method are safe?
Thank you in advance guys
If your main version number is not 401 then you can't use the ruu i linked you up in the other thread where you posted.
If you want to run a wwe rom you need to unlock the bootloader and flash a custom recovery and rom. Most custom roms are based on the wwe version.

Hello everyone,
Few days ago I have bought HTC One X and it was reading Arabic and I can type Arabic so easy using a 3rd party keyboard app.
I figured out that I bought the Taiwanese version by mistake and all of the languages listed in the mobile is Enlgish (Taiwan) & other language with Chinese/Japanese symbols on it ( Not sure what Taiwan speaks )
I have tried to unlock my bootloader and root my phone so I can install a 35.X MB Arabic update but the phone failed to apply the update through recovery in HBOOT.
Here is the full details:
Phone Origins Asian
Phone Version 1.29.709.12
Bootloader Unlocked via HTCdev.com
Phone Status Rooted
RUU Version RUU_ENDEAVOR_U_ICS_40_HTC_ARA_1.29.415.11
My main question is: Is it possible to flash my phone using a Middle East RUU on an Asian HTC One X? Or the phone is going to crash? I need to know the steps.
Looking forwars to a kind reply,
Thanks a lot.
Anyone?

No, it is not possible as you will get a customer id error when you run the RUU. The phone will not crash as the RUU will never get installed.

Any plan B?
Thank you so much.
Since your device is rooted, either use the 3rd party keyboard app or flash a Custom ROM which support Arabic but I'm not sure which one in Dev's thread has Arabic support. Maybe someone else can recommend one for you.
Or anyone know where to get a custom ROM with ARA base.
me as well. I got the one from singapore. I want to use RUU of Australia. But seems no luck to do that
If its an Arabic ROM you want, you can flash a custom ROM based on the Arabic ROM. Link.
Super CCID the device and than you can flash any RUU!

That's ATT version, this is international version. please do not provide misleading information here.
so I just got my one x and unlocked it via hasoon2000's all in one toolkit
have it rooted.
its running android 4.1.1 JB
3.14.401.27 - SW version
I got the WWE Europe version - imported
and I want to flash another RUU on the phone because I would like to have English UK or US or India on the phone
from what I know, its not possible to flash another RUU on the phone except the oiginal one - am I right???
and I couldnt find any JB RUU for Asia India
any other way of getting stock UK, US, India english rom???
I'm new to the One X thread - so I'm sorry for any trouble I'm causing
please do tell me if I missed out any vital info.
I'm not sure what you mean by stock UK, US, India ROM.
That is the UK ROM.
What exactly do you want? I mean, what's wrong or missing that you want to change?
There probably won't be a difference besides maybe localisation, what are you trying to achieve?
i checked this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1957376
according to this I have RUU
x.xx.401.x - World Wide English (WWE)
I want -
x.xx.720.x - Asia (India) - this or
x.xx.707.x - Asia WWE (World Wide English) - this
is this possible???
No.
You'd have to flash a custom based on one of those bases.
But you still haven't said WHY you want one of those bases.

well its just that I am not in Netherlands or Belgium or Luxembourg
and it keeps on asking me which language I want for the keyboard
are there any custom stock based roms for the base i want??
edit:
and I forgot to mention I have HBOOT - 1.36.0000
As said, you can only flash RUUs that are x.xx.401.x as you have an EU handset

Every ROM has multiple languages.
Just go into the keyboard options and switch off the input languages you don't want: long press ',' (the cog) then Keyboard selection and untick the ones you don't want.
Hey guys, very easy question today but I can't seem to find an answer anywhere... I'm s-off, super-cid, unlocked, rooted, 3.19 boot, currently running the a converted DevEd from stock AT&T... Most custom ROM's are built on the WWE base... but it has a different model number than I have... 0p6b10000 vs 0p6b12000... Do I need to change my mid to flash the WWE RUU? Does the proper base for a custom ROM even matter as long as my bootloader and firmware are up to date? I mean am I miss out on any features by running a ROM over DevEd vs WWE??? Just curious.
Edit: BTW, I know how to do everything I just asked about.. Just wanting to know if it's beneficial at all
I answered this in the AT&T M8 section.
Please don't make multiple posts asking the same question.
Hi guys, im people that live and speak italian
One question information:
I have HTc M9 International Model, S-Off with sunshine, rooted, with rom Viper 4.3.0, firmware 3.35.401.12 ; i want to update this firmware with 3.35.617.12 unlocked version!
My question is: Flash only firmware and radio with fastboot command or download latest ruu 3.35.617.12 and re-install all? I'm confused
I thanks for user that help!!!
I seriously doubt there are meaningful differences in those two versions, but being s-off, you only need to flash the firmware in download mode. No need for a RUU.
If you are asking difference between 3.35.401 and 3.35.617 the answer is nothing. 3.35.XXX.XX that is how you should check for updates. Android/Sense is the exact same on both of them, only difference is the area they are meant to operate in. The firmware difference depends on the area you live and network. It might help battery life or it might not.
X.XX.401 International (WWE) Model
X.XX.617 U.S.A Developer Edition
thanks guys, i'm sured that developer edition is newest and improve m9 in reason to firmware WWE. thanks, thanks thanks
