Hi, I need to upgrade my bootloader from 4.1.2 to MJ5. I've tried searching through the forum but all I can find is 7100 versions, while I'm on 7105. An additional complication is that I can only charge through my USB port, so ideally it would be in cwm flashable form. Many thanks in advance.

my friend changed his phone in brick after flashing i7000 rom
You can flash 7100 on 7105 HOWEVER you'll need to do some modifying of system files
[HOWTO] Port N7100 ROMs to I317 and N7105
Check out this thread from teh AT&T forums. It'll apply the same in regards to libs, etc files
Also you'll likely need to replace the boot.img/kernel with one for the n7105 and remove any modem from the ROM zip as that would be a way to brick your device
I want to flash this stock with root injected rom. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1975560&page=28
on my Galaxy Note II GT-N7100 that has the original stock rom from Thai's vendor.
While I've done a lot of flashing rom on the 1st Note GT-N7000 and there's this kind of rooted stock rom release with all variation of rom including Thailand version so I just feel safe and flash it away with odin without problem.
but Note II forum have splitted into 4 version of American's vendor. And I found this thread of stock injected rom with some of different vendor, Now I'm not sure if there's any different in hardware of my phone and those vendor. Because there's no LTE in Thailand and I don't know if this function's include on the phone or not. or if there's any other of hardware's different.
So my question is does my Note II and any other GT-7100 from different vendor are the same model? Is it safe to using available rom or root method from this forum on my phone? or if not, where's the right place for me to find more information of my "international" version of Note II?
The tmobile version shares more similarities with the N7105 than the N7100. You cannot flash tmobile based ROMs on your phone. The correct forum for you is

Does custom ROMS replace/change the modem/Radio/baseband of our phone? I own Korean note 2 e250s LTE and i installed Ultimate ROM in AT&T and it work great and my model number got changed to N7105 from e250 s. I read that I can install any custom ROMs meant for n7105, tmobile, AT&T etc as long as modem of my phone dont get change
How can i flash custom ROMs without changing the modem or how i can know that which custom ROM will change the kernel or modem of the phone..I am not talking about aroma installer which give us option to not install modem or kernel
Are there chances of bricking the phone if I flash the custon ROMs meant for different versions of note 2 or if my korean baseband get replaced with any other ..

First of all, do an efs backup. After that, you can try whatever rom you decide to flash. Not all roms come with modem.

I own n7105 international version. I dunno if korean version will be different or not. But certain rom got option to keep ur modem and csc file. If not... you can download modem and csc file of your region to avoid any signal lost or other problems due to different modem and csc files.

Yes it's different from Nandroid back up. For more info about efs, here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2420881
And here's one of the method you could try to back up your efs: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2269318

can I flash stock rooted ROM of N7105 4.3 to unlocked T-Mobile t889 4.1.2?
Regards
guys ...any reply please
I would like to know the answer to this too for the record. People say the hardware for both the N7105 and the T889 and I317 is similar but there's no concrete information other than someone 'saying so'.

Hardware is basically the same except modem, so any roms that have a modem must have an i317 or a t889 modem in its place, or the installer script must be updated for the removal of the modem out of the zip.

Guys, I had the same issue, you could install any roms from n7105 roms... Then install modem and update VPN... Try dn3 roms... Its good.

i just want to ask where i can find latest 4.3 bootloader so i can flash dn3 thanks. im using Samsung Galaxy Note II N7105.
I'd second that request, additionally, my usb port is busted, does anyone have a 4.3 or 4.4 bootloader in a recovery flashable format?
