[Q] Touch Screen issue (P601) - Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) Q&A, Help & Troubl

Hello. I am experiencing a problem on touch screen. It's not that "shaking screen". You can see at youtube (watch?v=4GWAYOPo8Ww).
This problem on the video happen sometimes. It happens when I turn on the screen. If I change the screen orientation or turn off and turn on the screen again, it goes back to normal.
Could this be software issue? Or hardware?
It never happens with the S-Pen.

Call tilt problem

Hello!
After I got my phone back from repair with new screen and motherboard i have got this annoying problem when taking calls, screen goes on and off, sometimes stays off when I try rotate it during a call.
Any ideas?
The phone using proximity sensor to detect your face, for the case if anything get cover/near the sensor (under 9cm; located left to the htc logo) during call the screen will turn off and disable touch screen too. This meant to avoid user accidentaly ends the call. Please note that there is also a 0.5-1.0 second delayed for the screen to turn on/off based on the sensor.
If you phone's problem is on the case, then it is nothing to wrong.. else please elaborate briefly on the issue..

Screen turning itself off

I have a problem with my 5120. The screen will occasionally turn itself off in the middle of an app, eg YouTube. It's definitely not the screen timeout. I believed it happened usually when it's about to do a screen rotation. Anyone else have the same problem?
Ok looks like it could be the magnet on the cover that's causing it.

VS986 Display Issue

I have a Verizon VS98611a that i rooted through this

Recently, I've got an issue where the screen will randomly go dark, but not turn off. I have chekced this in a dark room and the screen remains on, but it no longers registers any touch inputs nor displays anything on the screen. The screen remains dark until I turn it off and turn it on again. I tried a screen recording app and checked the video afterwards. It seems that once the physical screen goes dark, the video shows that everything starts to run very slowly. From this, i'm guessing that the issue is either the CPU is having trouble or the GPU can't render the screen properly, although the recording seems to show that the screen is still there, but just not shown on the physical device. I checked the CPU usage though, and it doesn't seem to show issues as it is not running fully with about half of the memory free.
I have tried reflashing the stock rom with this

and the probelm persists. This also wiped root access and i have not yet restored it.
Could this be a problem with the CPU/GPU or would it be a physical problem with the hardware of the screen? If the issue is with the

Black Screen

So my phone has had some tumbles during me using it but outside of some cracks the phone was mostly fine.
Sometimes the touchscreen wouldn't respond properly but locking and unlocking the phone always fixed it.
After waking up and using my phone for about 10 minutes, My phone's screen suddenly went black and it won't show anything anymore.
It's not black as in not turning on, because I can see that the backlight turns on. it just doesn't display anything else.
Can this be fixed by just replacing the screen? or is there any other fix, which i doubt
Same here...?

I am facing the same issue of Screen getting black. The sound keeps on coming but the display turns dark. It gets normal after a restart.

Problem: Touch screen ghost inputs

Has anybody a solution for that? Happens mostly on lock screen and specially when I switch the screen on after some time. I replaced the display with no success. Thanks for your help
