Hi, i live in Iran and bought p6-u06 today. but it only works with MCI carrier, if i put simcards from other carriers it asks to input sim unlock code.I want to know if its possible to make it work with all carriers by updating. i'm currently on b115sp01.
so will it be unlocked after update?
which builds can i update to? (according to my device build number).

Hi
I have F240K in Poland Europe. Just bought. Phone is from Olleh operator.
I try to flash with stock rom downladed from LG but nothing changed.
I need to find out way to:
1. Get rid of operator stuff - maybe there is generic ROM that can be used?
2. MOST IMPORTANT- change RADIO since in operator settings I have only to options: GMS and WCDMA and AUTOMATIC. IN Poland operators are using: 3gnetworks and 2 g networks. and phone shoud work but is always showing "G" next to network bar.
Anybody can help?
Greetings.

to get rid of those bloatware, you can always use Titanium Backup to freeze them, but you have to root your phone first.
I think the E980 root is safe to use, but I dont know.....I havent root my E988 yet....
after you root it, you can remove/uninstal the bloatware, but I dont think it is a good step, because some people cant update their phone after the removed the bloatware.
but again, I dont really know about this, coz my E988 is unlocked
about the ROM, I cant help you, sorry....

hey everyone, im a P6 user in egypt, and i accidently did something wrong that bricked my phone, and after i managed to unbrick it and flashed the latest B-125 and everything went fine, except that the phone wont connect to my operator, its always with no signal and showing "no service" but when i search for networks manually i find all the networks in my country but cant connect to mine (Can't connect to this network at this time) i also tried to call 911 to check its not hardware, it connected and someone answered, so i don't think its hardware problem, so someone told me that it may be my operators files is missing from the folder /cust in the root of the phone
so any egyptian user can provide me with a copy from the folder /cust, may be that's it or not, but i must try every possible fix

Try the B118 international version (not china version). I think its meant for north african region.
Also maybe try updating b111 international and searching for OTA update.

Is your imei number present? Type *#06# to check.
Also check this. I am not sure but I think that you might use it to create the update.app you want (you may also contact the OP to tell you how to do it).

Hey guys, im from Lebanon and my friend asked me if i can fix here slow Galaxy S3...I told her that i can try to flash a custom Rom (witch basically are made for making mobile phones faster)....the confusion is, we live in Lebanon, and her phone model number is SGH-T999V, so its a Canada variant...i have no ideas about carrier, but i just wanna know if i flash a custom Rom (lets say CarbonROM):
first, the zip file is the one that ends with d2lte?
and second, will the phone be locked to a specific carrier or i can use it with, in my case, a Lebanese Sim card normally without further action?
tnx in advance, and sorry for my bad english

Yes, D2LTE is the one you are looking for. If the phone has never been SIM unlocked then the phone shall ask for an unlock code as soon as you put a SIM card from another carrier that's not the one that came with the phone.

thank you for your reply, she already used it with a Lebanese sim for about 2 years with no problem, does it means that the phone is SIM unlocked for use in Lebanon and will stay like this after flashing custom ROM? OTA official android updates also work normally btw, and after the flash she will use the same sim

Everything should work the same as usual after the flash. You may just have to change the APN after flashing. So, you may want to write down or screen cap the current APN settings before flashing.
okay guys thank you very much...ill update this post after flashing, sry for bothering

Are you sure your phone is Dual Sim ? i think b150 is for single sim check here and follow the correct numbers to update your phone to MM.
As per rooting the phone, you'll need to be more specific about why you are unable to do it, you can't obtain the unlock code ? or you can't get the connection through ADB ? or somethig else ?

Already emailed the huawei support but they asked me to just use the website. I really wanted to root this device to use TB. I tried flashing all latest frimware single sim or dual sim version but still no luck updating to MM. So my plan is to just root this phone and flashed RR and flashable stock rom available on the thread via TWRP. Is there any other way to get the bootloader unlock code mate? If there is no way to get the code, i plan to just sell this phone.
I successfully updated to MM now im searching for root. Can someone here help me to get the bootloader activation code using your account? I cannot open the unlock page. Please help me.
Nvm. I already rooted my device

i was on stock rom (G960FXXU1ARB3) when i had both VoLTE & VoWiFi , i had to reset my phone for some reason..... i said why not update and restart ? so i updated to G960FXXU2BRGA and i lost both VoLTE & VoWiFi
i tried downgrading to ARB3 but had no luck since the bootloader was updated.... so its not an option.

Hi, you may download an app ''QuickShortcutMaker" on Playstore. After that open the app and search for "lte call". You may find Enhanced LTE Services under Mobile Networks. Select it and select try, now you may turn VOLTE on. Sorry for my broken english.

May I know your Original Country code(CSC). And, what is your currently active OMC(CSC)? You might use Phoneinfo app for checking the currently active CSC.

Firmware contains multiple CSC. And, if you flash the firmware via odin sometimes the phone boots with Random CSC. Hence, I strongly feel the device applied a default CSC other than Iran(THR).
Once more please confirm it using Phone Info app, you can find it on Play Store. Or else, check whether the good-old secret code *#272*imeino.1# works or not.
If nothing helps, go for a clean flash of the latest Iranian firmware by putting CSC(not Home-CSC) firmware file in CSC tab on Odin.
