Hey guys. So I have the galaxy pro tab 8.4 and this is the first device that I have that doesn't let me add widgets/ change the appearance of the lockscreen. Do you use some sort of app for this? I already have the nova launcher but i still cant change it

Hi Guys,
I was just checking if I can get the Galaxy S like home screen on my DHD and found the TouchWiz Launcher APK in the forum. I was able to install this successfully but the Icons it is showing are the default Sense icons. Is there anyway I can change the Icons to Galaxy S like icons.
One thing... I have not rooted my handset yet.

Hmmm not exactly the answer you may be looking for but try purchase ADW EX Launcher. It has an iPhoneish setting which gives icons a coloured background and you can use the horizontal swipe app drawer aswell as modify the dock to a touchwiz style interface.

I tried ADW Launcher with Gal S Theme which gave me Icons like Galaxy S. But In ADW, I am not able to select dock with 4 icons. The options are only 5, 3, 1 or none. So, I tried removing the Dock completely and extended the home screen to 5 rows so that I can use the bottom row as 4 icon dock. But the problem now is there is no dock at all in app drawer as well.
Hey guys, ive been reading around and im currently on Miui 1.12.09 and i love the look of the icons on the screen and not in a menu. However i like launcher pro because of the expandability, but i don't like how it puts the apps back into a menu. so my question is, can i run launcher pro and have all of my apps list on the home screen? I'd like to ask you if there is a way to make s4 mini's lockscreen look like the LG Nexus 4 lockscreen with the circle shortcuts.
I tried some apps like holo locker but it is very buggy and if you know another way to having this lockscreen shortcut style please share your methods.

I want to get the 8.4 pro. But I really hate the samsung ui. I know you can put a custom launcher on it like Apex or Nova. But the lock screen is still the samsung one. Is their a way to make the lock screen look and feel like stock android 4.4 ?

You can turn the Samsung lock screen off completely in the Settings menu, and install a custom lock screen app from the Play Store. I use WidgetLocker , which has several preset lock screens that look like stock Android. You can also add widgets and custom sliders to the lock screen.

I have been using Nova launcher for years without problems. Yesterday I bought a Galaxy S9 +, and of course I also installed Nova launcher. But I have a problem with changing the icon of the application drawer on the dock. I can change the icon, but if I confirm, the icon does not change. It always remains the stock icon. I can change the other icons in the dock without any problem. Only that of the application drawer can not change. It makes me crazy because I have always been able to change this on my previous smartphones. Can someone help me?

It looks like the dev will have to give this some love...

As far as I know every android comes with a default launcher. In android 10 default launcher will have a dock that will show up in recent screen. Currently 3rd party apps cannot show their dock in recent screen (olny default launcher can). Yours' is a different problem. If you could remove app drawer icon from dock from default launcher it may solve the issue.
