Hi, I'm new, this is my first post, I don't really know much about rooting and everything like that, so I'd appreciate any help I can get. Well I tried towelroot, it said that my phone is not currently supported. I don't know why, my build number and software version seems weird and different to most lg g3s, I got the 32gb gold from Amazon.de since the UK doesn't have the 32gb variant. My build number is KVT49L.A1406439589 and my software version is V10g-EUR-XX. Most people's build number ends in like 10g or 10f or something. Any help with rooting this specific model would help, thanks!
your build will be 10G (the V10g-EUR-XX shows you have a version 10G with a European build).
Purpledrake will root 10G http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/development/root-root-lg-g3-easily-purpledrake-lite-t2821000
Thanks, I'll check it out now

So I've got my G3 D855 16Gb about 3 weeks ago and I noticed just one upadate and a little to nothing app upgrades (keyboard,camera,etc...).
I was wondering if I can flash my G3 (D855 of course) to other firmware country?
It is possible to do this?
Since some other coutries had received lots of updates, does them increase performace and apps updates?
My G3 is the D855 16Gb from Taiwan (latest firmware is V10i-TWN-XX)
I want the latest update,I think the J is the latest.
Aaaaaaaand I live in Brazil (yes I bought from ebay) the latest firmware in Brazil is the v10i too.
Can you guys help me with some tips and hints/tutorials?
Yes you can however v10i is the latest one, not j.
Hi All!
I just bought LG G3 32GB 3GB Ram unlocked (For European market)
Software version is: V10K-SEA-XX.
Do you confirm that's for South East of Asia?
I live in Europe (France).
I would like to set European or French version on phone.
Do you think that's possible?
I see there is D85510L_00.kdz...
Can I push this version on phone?
Can you help me to set my phone with european or french version? please
If you need more information, don't hesitate.
Thank you!
Stephane
What variant you have? D855?
Those symbols after V10K are your operator (carrier) symbols. At least those are in my country so I believe they are everywhere like that.
If you have D855 you can flash that, V10N is the latest Kitkat or V20D is the latest Lollipop.

V10C in this guide
V20D here
To flash them you will use guide that I have linked under V10C.
I would suggest to go with Lollipop (20D).

Hello,
I have kind of same problem : living in france, i bought on the web on september of 2014 a G3, 32Go, kit kat.
The model number is D855
The software version is V10g-GLOBAL-SI
Since i got the phone , i never had OTA updates, i don't know why.
Do you think I can Flash to the european version, Lolli Lop 20E ?
In that case, after doing this, will the ota updates work ??
Thank you for your answer.
Hey guys. Sorry if this question has already been posted.
My G4 is H815T. I've been looking around for a root method but in vain.
Hope you guys can help out...
Thanx in advance.
The international H815 v10c image works on the H815T, even though the guide says it doesn't.
I had used a pre rooted kdz for the h815t , it was for v10b though

I have an LG G4 H815T running V10h, just wondering what the best method to root is? I've read all of the XDA posts and so far it looks like I just use the V10c for intl versions of the phone but I really don't want to brick the phone as it's on a contract with Optus (Australia) for another year and a half, can someone please help me? can provide more info if needed.

Hi guys
I bought another LG G3 from eBay and it turns out it is a D855TR, so a international Turkish variant of the phone.
It is currently only on version 5.0, and there are no OTA updates that can be applied.
The phone does not even let me connect to the LG suite as there is no option to change the USB type!
I want to upgrade to marshmallow as I did with my previous G3, but all the sites that I have visited are in Turkish and I am having trouble finding information if it is safe to use the same rooting/flashing methods as the normal D855. My previous phone was just the standard international D855 and I have rooted it before and successfully flashed different roms onto it without any problems.
So I just wondered what root can I use for the Turkish variant, and if I am able to still flash different roms such as Fulmics onto it like I would with just the normal D855?
Thanks
Just wondering if someone can link me to a tutorial that they have had success with when it comes to rooting an G4 H815T, running android 6.0.
Thanks

Any update on this at all? FYI I actually have successfully rooted my LG G4 H815T (Australian variant). When I bought it approx. 1 year ago, (I think it was at 10B), I used a root method and it worked (maybe Easy Root or something). Not sure if it works for later versions though.
