Phone not being detected in LG FLASH TOOL - LG Optimus G Pro

Hi. I have F240K. I accidentally bricked my phone, I flashed SPHINX 2.0 and after that, network is dead. So I flashed the Mexican KDZ, to bring back the network as per instruction on another thread, which worked before, but now it isn't. Then I decided to go back to stock KDZ, but the flash tool is not detecting the device anymore. Please help me mates!

Try another computer or usb cable!

Happened to me too, I thought my phone's gone but I tried to revive it from another computer and it solved my problem.

[Q] D855 Hard Bricked :(

Hello All,
I made a horrible discovery as I went to set my alarm last night that my G3 has managed to hard brick itself. It wasn't rooted but had a few emulators and stuff on it and at some point it has ruined the phone
It has the dreaded QHSUSB_BULK whenever I try to flash it or use the LG Mobile Support tool after say 2-4%.
I'm hoping (praying) that some kind G3 owner (D855 16GB UK Model) could upload or send me a debrick.img for the SD?
If not I'll have to try and claim the warranty with LG as my return window has passed with amazon unfortunately.
First android and a month later a hard brick lol :/
Thank you!
(I know it's almost certain I'll have to send it away)
Are you trying the TOT flash method or the KDZ flash method?
Whenever i see a firmware flash fail it's almost always caused from a usb issue.
Try not to stress, i bricked my phone the other night and couldn't get it to flash for hours and couldn't figure out why, it turns out the 2014 PC i was trying to use wasn't having nothing to do with flashing my G3, but a 10 year old laptop got the job done without any hesitation.
Here's the guide i used to unbrick my phone, like i said other then the PC i was trying to use this worked perfect.
http://www.androidrootz.com/2014/07/how-to-unroot-lg-g3-all-variants.html
Here's a list of things you can try:
1. Try different usb ports on your PC, try using the usb ports on the back of your computer, they are the most reliable.
2. Try a differnt usb cable.
3. Make sure you have the correct driver, You should be using the LGUnitedMobileDriver
4. Try a different computer to flash all together.

If it is completly hard bricked try this => http://open-freax.fr/guide-unbrick-your-lg-g3/
I know there's one on xda too, but in my opinion this one is easier to follow and easier to understand.
If you'd like to check the xda one out too, here it is => http://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-lg-g3/general/guide-fix-hard-brick-recovery-guide-t3132359
The download is corrupted and other is off

Hard Bricked D850PR

So the story goes as this:
ATT G3 accidentally flashed a D851 rom... phone rebooted now its a hard brick
I have tried every method to restore it to stock (lg flashtool 2014 and old flash tool method, tried enter TWRP nothing happened)
My phone is detected as it were in Download mode, but it doesnt let me flash anything.
I downloaded the "generic" LGUP8794.dll and tried to flash stock D850 and stock D851, jeez I even tried to flash LS990 stock rom... same error every time.
Downloaded stock D850PR20A_01.kdz and tried to flash it through Flashtool 2014 and just getting error...
I'm really out of options now.
I dont have warranty so its out of question the "return my phone" thing.
Thanks in advance for any reply or suggestion.
PD: I get no "QHUSB" or "fastboot" mode either.
Try using a different usb port. LG flash tool hates USB 3.0 so use USB 2.0

I have tried with 3 different computers, one with XP, Win7 and win8.1
I never use USB3.0 unless its with a memory stick
Can you go into download mode??
Sent from my SM-N910F using XDA Free mobile app
No, No Download mode, but my phone is connected as it were in download mode.
My screen is good, I know cuz when i connect the usb without battery it lights up and shows an image of "missing batt"
No TWRP either
Any update on this? I just rooted my D850PR and then used AutoREC to install TWRP, then I turned it off to reboot but it never booted...it also lights up the display when connecting the USB cable without the battery but that's all it does

Dos your computer recognize the phone as qhsusb_bulk?

i cant believe there is no clear solution for the LG G3 brick.
There is a solution
I have faced this issue with my LS990. accidentally flashed D855 ROM then bricked. THere is a unbricking method which is very hard and you have to do it with patience.
Try this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/unbrick-lg-g3-qhsusbbulk-qualcomm-9008-t3072091
You might want to short 2 pins of G3 motherboard. message me if this method didn't work.
Good luck matehttp://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/unbrick-lg-g3-qhsusbbulk-qualcomm-9008-t3072091
I had that problem, flashed d855 rom on a d850pr, and it went into bootloop, but I just went into recovery, flashed a D850 rom and everything worked fine. I did have your problem once, but with a LG Optimus L2, I tried on windows 8 and 7 but the LGflashtool always stop with errors, until I tried on XP, i could restore it. (sorry for the english)

Bricked D855

I think i bricked my D855.
I was on Lam Hoang 1.8 rom, but i wanted to restore the original firmware v20h.
I've done the same thing i did many times, i tried to use kdz tools to flash the stock rom.
Everything was working fine when i got stuck at 10% in S/W Updating process.
I unplugged my phone after about 30 minutes, then i tried again, with the same result.
So i tried the TOT method, but the problem is the same, stuck at 10%.
It seems to be stuck on modem installation, as the last line in the log is MODEM.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
Thank you.
Resolved.
It was my pc fault.
I'm sorry.

Flash H815 rom on my H811 and now it's bricked

So I was on a custom stock room and decided to try out CM13 for a few days. I didn't like it so I downloaded the old rom i had and flashed it. Once it finished and rebooted the phone just turned off and now it won't work at all. I tried putting in download mode as well and nothing happens. My pc recognized it once and installed a driver then that was it. I been trying to use the lg flash tool but my pc just won't recognize the phone at all anymore. My phone already had bootloader unlocked if that matters. So do I have a useless phone now or can I still save it?
Try using LGUP. This saved my phone when all else failed.
